Playa Blanca walk to Lighthouse

Walking Lanzarote. Brendan and Teresa O Connor staying in Playa Blanca take a walk from the Rubicon Marina to the Lighthouse at Ferro Park all along the promenade. Passing playa dorada beach,the peurto, La Mulata on the way.

I came here before "Playa Flamingo" was built. The walk to the lighthouse is lovely. Coming in the winter meant the Atlantic waves were beating against the shore. I wish I were fit enough to do it now.

This has whetted the appetite, we have stayed by the marina a couple of years ago but only walked as far as the harbour. Going back in Feb 2017 and will definitely head down to the lighthouse 😃👍🏻

The restaurant you finished in serves the best steak I have ever had. We normally go there in the evening when it is dark so never realised it was on the coast walk, will have to try it out during the day when I am back in 7 weeks time.
