Bouncy is an iconic song for sure but you HAVE TO listen to Guerilla by Ateez to get a real feel of who they are.
He has listened to Guerrilla and didnt like it. I think he would like songs more like Answer and Turbulence

the thing about ateez is that they will ALWAYS devour a music video. their presence (alongside their INSANE storyline) is so consistently well executed, you will never catch these boys lacking

Ateez is a group that’s so hard hitting that u need to warm up to their sound. I promise the more u listen the more u will fall in love with ateez!
I think that that's the case with every group that's new for someone. For example, I listen to BTS for years and they are for me the best group in the world, for a long time they were only male group that I listen and when I first time heard Stray Kids I didn't like it that much but because of Felix's voice I gave them a chance and I'm happy I did since now I really love them. BTS is still my favorite but Stray Kids is right after BTS. I think that in K-Pop there's so many groups and so many different styles that when ever someone start listening to new group he/she needs time to get to used to that new style, new sound, new people.
100% agree. I loved Stray Kids immediately, but after I warmed up to Ateez I had a lot more appreciation for their storyline and how hard they go on each comeback.

ATEEZ and Stray Kids music are harmonious--not the same but fit well on the same playlist. A commenter once said something like, If Stray Kids are the kids making beats in the back of the class, ATEEZ are the theater kids using the front as their stage. SKZ lean more rap and experimental while ATEEZ lean more to vocals and are known for their incredibly theatrical performances. ❤

I love Ateez so much. Halazia, its one of my favorite songs and mvs (if not my #1 favorite). It has a completely different vibe to Bouncy. They definitley have a range of music, there is something for everyone.

I’m a hardcore ARMY but Ateez impresses me so much. I think their performances are very powerful and Jongho arguably has one of the best voices in the 4th generation K-pop idols.
stays and atinys (atiny stans) are basically besties and most of us are actually staytinys haha
both groups are very good friends, especially changbin and wooyoung (both group's leaders describe them as the problem children lmaooo, they're very chaotic)

HALAZIA IS MY FAVORITE. Seriously amazing, I literally cried like 100 times watching Halazia because I could feel the emotion through the screen even though the songs were upbeat (and the music video was incredible) LMAO... or Wonderland by them! Bouncy is definitely different (I personally love it)!

As much as I love Bouncy it maybe wasn't the best song to be introduced to ATEEZ by. Go back to their beginning and start there, to really see how incredible they are. Pirate King was a monster debut. And..don't want to overwhelm you, Nigel, but you need to see their live performances. They are absolute beasts on stage.
the more you listen to ateez, the more you start to recognize and appreciate their genius. within their mvs, their discography, their dance, their performance, their uniqueness.. they are truly one of the best groups out there. it's also funny that you said hongjoong (sniper rifle guy) was django! on the album for bouncy (the world ep 2: outlaw) they have a b-side track literally titled django. so you're spot on for the vibes they're going for lolol also the guy who does the shoot-out in the bar/also was doing the bodyrolls is mingi. i would recommend checking out guerrilla or halazia next!

Ateez are known for the last 30 ish seconds of their songs. They go HARD
This song is a grower, not a shower for sure. I wasn't sure about it at first, either but it gets under your skin for sure. Ateez are really incredible. Between Stray Kids and Ateez's awesome music, I am a happy human.
If you want to get into their music, I recommend going back to the beginning. The music they make is progressive and it has reached a pretty epic stage now. If you're not keen to dive deep, my biggest recommendation is to watch the Wonderland MV and then one of their live performances of the song. Honestly 🤯

About damn time! You absolutely can not go wrong with Ateez! As an Army/Stay, I promise you will love Ateez the more you go into their discography.
You should really check out Django when you have the time, they have so many songs with so many different vibes, got the hip hop bit, rock bit, straight msuical godly bit (Like Wonderland Live preformance) so on so forth, got Be With You that could make you emotional, Answer, Turbulence, They have so many songs with such different aesthetics you dont know what'll come up next, yknow? You'd probably also really like Deja Vu. They're songs play like a movie so sometimes you have to watch them in order. Guerrilla and Halazia would probably catch your eye. Pick your audience my guy or you'll get confused or thrown off. Also their compilations gon make you giggle and confused asf- They're friends with SKZ so that's a good sign and I think they've also hung out with BTS at some point (Based on a short lil clip I saw somewhere) but idk for sure. All I'm saying is you need to see more before you can make an executive decision on their place in your heart. This video itself got me happy as a mf after all the times i dmed tagged and reached out to you to react to them- I RAN to this video like a maniac my computer almost crashed form rushing it lmfaoaao but seriously thank you for starting this. I'm excited to see what else you react to

It definitely took me a while to warm up to this song.
I love ATEEZ though. You should definitely look at more of their music. They have a lot of diversity. And overall I think they have a pretty similar vibe to Stay kids. And the dynamics between the members of the group outiside of music are also pretty similar. If you watch any of their content outside of their music you will definitely love all the members

I went through the same process, I went from bts to stray kids and now seventeen. I understand the stress of getting into a new group cause I always know that when I get into them I will be obsessed, you can never go wrong with any of the groups you mentioned
