Welcome to Episode 3 of my Wilderness only Iron man! I am having a lot of fun playing with restrictions on my iron man account. In this episode, we get many great unlocks for future videos. From Rogue's to Lava Dragons in the deep wilderness, we venture out and start farming various areas for drops! Prayer will be essential for the series. Bossing content next episode!

RULES
1. Restricted to Dangerous Wilderness Area's or Content that is connected to the Wilderness (Lever, Waka Canoe) when gaining exp/obtaining items! (Wilderness part of Edgeville Dungeon Included)
2. I've allowed myself wilderness slayer as it is directly tied to the wilderness, and the emblem store.
3. I've decided to allow myself to bank in Edgeville. Since Mage Bank is not truly "safe" as you cannot be attacked inside it, I've decided to allow Edgeville banking since its surrounded by content attached the wilderness (emblem store, slayer master, lever, Waka canoe)
GOAL: Obtain every unique wilderness item. (Except Corp, and kbd which are both in "safe zones")

For anyone asking, why not ultimate iron man? In the wilderness when you die on an ultimate ironman you lose everything, which would be impractical as dying is uncontrolled and youcan at anytime in the wilderness. I also cant keep every unique drop on me as an ultimate.

1. I just realized emblems can be sold to the general store for 30k, better than buying rune arrows.
2. Slayer is essential because besides the slayer staff for magic dart, you can unlock broad arrrows / bolts which are really handy.
3. I was also trying to get a lockpick from the rogues, which are easier when you just pickpocket them, but its needed for a specific slayer task.

I think there is a iron kite spawn by a couple dwarfs in 40+ wild
Statistically Challenged You can find a Iron Kiteshield drop near the Chaos dwarves in level 35 east Wilderness
Do you stream on twitch? I'd like to watch this happen live, but I'm sure that'd be tough if people tried target killing you though.

bro dont forget the edgeville dungeon is "wilderness" you could kill chaos druids for lots of good herb farming and maybe even do air orbs if you figure a way out to get molten glass or orbs

Loving the amount of videos of this series. Keep it going same way! I want to see every little detail you do, this is so interesting. The danger lies behind every corner , either pker or a monster, and that's so exciting. Clip before obtaining the lava battlestaff I saw white dot in your mini map and was so nervous :D

There are chaos runes that spawn in-between lava maze and lava drags. They could come in handy for faster kills. I could be mistaken on spot but i know they are somewhere near there.
Interesting to see how different our strats were at the start. A lot of ways to play.

you get 340 instead of 297 xp if you bury them in the lava dragon isle itself, saves you the walk and xp.
But with a 50% chance to conserve bones, it's equivalent to 445 exp each at temple.
One ov the best osrs series on yt. Keep it up.

and just a heads up, bury the bones on the lava drag isle.its 340exp per instead of 297.5, I know you have a chance of getting more exp, but if you get pked you wont lose them, and your trips can last longer.
Dont you know that by using bones in the gilded altar it has a chance to use the bones multiple times before its gone? Why would u bury bones in the lava maze for 300 pray xp when u can use them in the altar that will give u more?

I guess I'll go ahead and retype essentially what I had JUST said, that YOU replied to.
when killing lava dragons, Idk if you've ever done that before, but if you haven't I'll educate you a bit.
they're heavily pked. the reason is for their drops and bones, and since the best way to kill them is magic, it's very easy to kill someone wearing robes because they have almost no defensive stats.
seeing as how it's a relatively common pk spot, you're going to want to bank pretty often, especially as an ironman, to keep your bones for prayer.
banking after 10 kills would give you around 5k exp on average using the chaos altar. let's factor in time it takes to run from the isle to the bank (or altar) because you don't want to get pked and lose any progress. the time spent running around could easily be mitigated by burying the bones on the isle. I included in my original comment, (to give this content creator some thought out advice) that I understood that using it on the chaos altar could potentially be more exp, but then difference is, exp/hr.
if I was to go about this in an intelligent manner, I would personally bury the bones on the isle and mitigate the risk of getting pked on TWO seperate occasions. the isle, and the altar. it just makes logical sense to bury the bones than to go use them on the altar.

They should extend the wilderness by like 20 levels, just make some more land and say the wildy volcano erupted into the ocean.
You should get a god cape once you get overheads :)
When your character is stronger (60-70atk/str) you should try to flinch the revenant dragon using the ruins between the dragon and the imp/goblin. Can kill the imp/goblin between dragon kills as well, it may take awhile to find a world that doesn't have someone killing the dragon/knight though.

Rewatching this series cause it’s hands down the best restricted Ironman account on CZcams (sorry swampy boy) and I’m looking for inspirations for jazzing up my own IM YT series.
Anyway with the update about a week ago, Jagex provided a lot of monster drops rates on the wiki and I just checked, rogues don’t have the staff of air on their drop table!
Firegiants west of mage bank drop rune scim and I think labs drop rune longs

Yo I'm the other wildy only ironman that bumped into you while making pizzas. I've done 1-42 ranged on the lower level rogues and didn't get the staff of air either. Pro tip, today I found a grimy guam leaf spawn in the deep wildy dungeon with the fire giants, it makes for an easy consistent source of herblore xp. It's surrounded by hill giants, but you can easily get out of their range and hop.
