Kos Day 2 and 3 | Michelangelo Resort and Spa | Kos Town | Casa Romana

- Hi everyone!
In this week's video we start with the prettiest view from the room. We then head down to lunch before trying out THE comfiest sunloungers ever! Our air con was leaking but thankfully while we were out someone came out to fix it. The hotel were brilliant for resolving issues quickly! We then sample some of the included snacks from the Mediterranean restaurant. Tonight was the first night of entertainment and was called 'Disco night'. I had been expecting it to be a live band but it ended up being a DJ. We weren't too sure at first but the more songs that played and as it showed the variety of music we really started to enjoy the atmosphere while we had our drinks at Bar Juliano's. We then sampled some of the late night buffet and show you what was on offer this night. Mainly cold food, bread and soup but we were thankful for this after a "few" drinks!
The next day we headed into Kos Town on the bus, this was really quick and only 2 euros each. We wanted to visit Kos Castle but got there a little too late. We ended up instead just walking the full length of the castle wall and then saw a giant tree and some cute cats haha
We decided to cut our losses and went to a British bar called Blues Brothers (the name called us in). We enjoyed the atmosphere in here and it was in a great location looking out at the dock area at all the pirate ships. So many pirate ships!
We then visited Casa Romana and had a good explore for about half an hour - 45 mins. We enjoyed mixing the day up looking at some ruins along with an explore and some drinks.
After a great day out in Kos Town we headed back to the Michelangelo Resort for the gala dinner (Sorry we didn't show that much) but it was delicious, one of the best meals of the trip! We then finished the night in style at Bar Juliano's after booking in some speciality dining for later on in the trip!

Looks like another great couple days in such a beautiful place! The water looks absolutely beautiful. Lunch looks great with a lovely view. Mmm ice cream! That buffet is making me hungry! The ruins are so amazing to see, the mosaic flooring is so cool. Love seeing all of the vases and artifacts. So much history. Your drinks look lovely, neat to see the pirate boats! Looks like a great time, thanks for bringing us along! 😊💕 Great video!

We’ve started to appreciate a good sunrise 🌅. Haha 😂 I can’t believe you missed breakfast after watching sunrise and went back to bed 👌🏼 you know you’ve won big time when you’ve got a comfty bed.

Aww the Greek kitties 🐱 are so adorable one of the reasons we love Greece and their food is ace 👍🏼.
Dane I hope you didn’t end up breathing fire out your backside after drinking that’s spicy mango drink 😜🤣 I don’t do well with spice actually neither of us do. It’s avoid at all costs lol.
All them cocktails at the end made us laugh 😂 with sentences not working class!
Shame the weather wasn’t better but your making the most of it that’s the main thing 💪🏼

I really loved how pretty it was in a morning but then comfort took over haha wish we could have brought that bed home 😂
So many cats! 9/10 didn’t try to claw me to death and were super cute! He survived the drink thankfully he said it wasn’t as hot as the waitress had made out 😂

All of that food looks so good!! And that is definitely the biggest ant I've ever seen. I loved seeing Kos with you, those pirate boats were impressive. This resort looks stunning. Looks like you had an amazing trip.

All the food there looks so good. I agree that it is so nice that they include a late night buffet. Some people are late risers and night owls like us so that would be so nice to have a late night snack. Love all the ruins and history of the area. The Pirate ships look like it’s a boat trip deal. I googled it and it’s called Pirates of Kos. Mixed reviews but most are good. Looks like they have a dinner cruise that includes some great options. Loved coming along ❤😊
We will definitely have to try out the pirate ships next time as they looked like fun haha
You could tell from the entertainment area when the doors would open to the late night buffet and it was calling to us after a few ouzos! Agreed that it's an excellent perk

just a quick question, would you recommend bringing cash or could you pay with credit card around town? And was it loud having your room by the pool, with the people and the entertainment and all? cheers
Ooh amazing! Hope you have the best time! I’d recommend bringing cash out, we found quite a lot of places didn’t accept card and there aren’t really many ATM machines to withdraw cash. The doors were pretty good for keeping noise out, didn’t really notice till the water aerobics came on about midday then the music was louder. Hi Chip, we stayed at the beginning of May; if we would do it again, we would maybe go a couple of weeks later. 22 degrees looks good in paper in the evening but with the wind it is chilly, and Kos Town as a little quiet too.
