I wanted to be able to wear it alone but I can’t with this one. I have to put a foundation on top. It’s a beautiful product though!

I’ve always wanted to try the Charlotte Tillbury one but haven’t ever been able to pull the $44 trigger but this one I’m excited to get my hands on!!! The glow is gorgeous and so versatile 🤩💜
Don’t bother with that one, go for this one!! It’s the same thing!
I really liked it. It’s a thinner product than CT but blends really nice. I got Fair. I compared it to my CT HFF and it’s more pearlescent than CT, which is shinier. Halo runs more beige, warm whereas CT leans peach. I actually prefer the ELF finish even though I’m a huge CT fan 🙃
FYI Tarte Shape Tape Glow Wand is a very good dupe for CT as well I've found!! :)

Elf have really come for CT 😂, I'm definitely going to try this and get a darker shade for bronzer, i hope ELF make a contour wand because CT is always sold out. I think alot of people will be turning to more affordable make with the way the world is going. Great review Steff 👏

I would go with shade 2 or 3 and shade 6 for bronzer. I felt those were nice compliments for my skin tone.

I just opened my newest bottle of Flawless Filter, so it'll be a while before I get the Elf Halo Glow. I never thought about mixing it with my face sunscreen before. That will make getting ready even faster.

Don’t mix anything in your sunscreen. It can mess with the efficacy of the sunscreen, making you more prone to exposure to uv rays.

I definitely want to pick up one of these when they are back in stock. I almost ordered when they were first released, but I have the CT and decided to hold off for reviews. I also have the Lisa Eldridge highlighter, which is similar to the CT, so I might have to compare those two some more and see about the shade.
Also, did you see that the new ColourPop collection that is releasing tomorrow (something “clay”) will have Super Shock Bronzers?!?! I remember you asking about them in a recent video. Allie Glines showed them in a video the other day, and I am definitely going to pick up one. I haven’t bought anything from CP in a very long time, but they will get me with this one.

I have the HFF so I decided to pass on the elf for now but when it’s time to repurchase I’m definitely going to try the elf. Hopefully by then it will be in target. Btw all 6 shades you have are sold out on the elf site, they did still have the 2 deepest shades available last night.
I heard it sold out fast!! Kinda had a feeling it would since it’s a good dupe if HFF. I like that at this price point we are able to experiment with different shades and not spend a lot of money doing so.

Elf just came out with and spf primer that’s really nice. I also like Tatcha Silken and DRMTLGY sunscreen/tinted moisturizer.

I also want to ask you something very important, what do you to make this Halo Glow TRANSFER PROOF because I do have it and have worn it already, and it looks beautiful at first but I find it Never Really Dries and will Transfer if it touches anything, so plz help if you can! 🙏😅 😘
Also with that being said, I don't know how to get it to look less oily in certain areas of the face, or if ppl think that looks good to wear that way? But other than the high point of my face, I think it should have less shine for me in the other areas. -- any ideas?

First and foremost welcome!! So happy to have you here!! I never use this product by itself, I always wear it underneath my makeup so I wouldn’t be able to say about the transfer part. What I’ve been doing lately is using my setting spray AFTER all liquid and cream products have been applied and right before I apply powder products. If you are finding this is too oily it could be that maybe you are using to much or you just have oily skin. I’m normal to oily so I keep this focused on my upper cheek bones and a little on the sides of my forehead.
A true multipurpose product that’s affordable and compares so well to high end is awesome. I think CT products are overhyped, so this is even more value added for me.

I have not tried these elf ones but I picked up a mini of the CT and I was VERY underwhelmed. I dont even like it lol. I'll try one of these soon but for now I'll stick with my loreal lumi glotion 😉
If the LOreal works for you then I’d say just stay with that one and maybe get a darker shade in the elf to act as a bronzer.

Hmm. Those swatches were super helpful. I actually don't know if shade 1 would even work. It seems too warm/peachy and possibly too deep for me anyway. So perhaps I didn't miss out lol
Shades are very forgiving. I think you would be ok with shade 1.

Oo good idea to use it in the sunscreen!! I need to make sure I never forget sunscreen 🧴 ☀️ especially in the summer, I burn 🔥 in no time! Even in the car 🚗 😂 🤦🏼♀️

The ELF (in other reviews not yours) looks thicker than the CT, and with my oily skin I need that sheer formula or I will be a grease ball lol Is that just my eyes or is it a lil different consistency?
I feel like the elf has more pigment than the CT, so maybe that’s why it might seem thicker. I honestly cannot feel a difference in texture or consistency.

I've been setting my makeup with powder because I have oily skin. I want a healthy shine like this product but not my oily ass self alongside it 😅

Dermatologists on You Tube says Trader Joe’s sunscreen 9$, is a great dupe for supergoop 40+$. I bought 3! It’s great, moisturizing, works under makeup, no eye burn.
I find it has actual coverage compared to the CT.
