I can’t believe ateez are in just dance 😭 I’m so proud of them a lot of people say that this version makes the dance look awkward and I think that just goes to show how important ateez’s unique energy is to their performances
Amazing that this choreo is really the entire dance practice of this song on ATEEZ channel, AND THAT'S AWESOME. The dancers slayed so hard, I'm inclined to think they are Atinys too lol
I’ve watched Ateez dance this many times and also watched their practice video immeasurable times and a lot of the complaints people have about it being “slow” or “lazy” is definitely on the slightly adjusted choreo and on the coaches. Go watch Ateez’s original dance practice for this song, they’re absolutely insane with their high energy and incredibly sharp moves. Ateez songs are hard to cover, even the dances, because they tend to have very precise moves, and the members themselves tend to put their entire bodies into every single minute detail. I definitely don’t think the coaches are capturing the high energy one needs to successfully perform this number. And that not necessarily their fault if that’s how they were instructed to dance, by holding back a bit since this is meant for casual fun.

In the video it's like they almost simply sit but in the original you're supposed to slide across the floor and get up. Ateez are known for insane energy and complex choreography and this was like one of their early songs (2019).
@@eupi2798in my opinion, I think that they simplify because of a lot of factors, like gameplay issues (the more you stay looking at the screen, the more better, so they remove some back steps) and security issues too! Maybe wouldn't be so safe to a casual gamer that want to experiment the song one time, cross the slide step with another player, maybe they can get hurt, or in another kpop songs that sometimes happens that one member jumps while the other bends down to jump over it, I mean this kind of steps are very dangerous for a non-professional dancer, so in this issue, I agree that must to be simplified. But there's another things that I don't agree, like in some other songs all the players don't stick together, sometimes they take off some spins (like in this song) and etc...I know that the person who chooses this kind of choreography, most likely are already a kpop fan and knows the choreography, but we have to remember that even so, it is still a casual game for the family. 🤷🏻♀️

Knowing the actual choreo I just debunk that it's the actual choreo because the original is harder than this and way more energetic. Also it would be hell to do half the things like the original while trying NOT to break the controller you are holding. I don't know why they complain that it doesn't look like the original, if they literally copied the official core to the game, it's all the same. It just must be the crowd factor, for example, the BTS songs in Just Dance look more or less empty, but they really look empty and little emotion because the members are like more than 7 while in the game there are 4. The same with say my name, in the game they are like less than half, that's why in the clip it looks more interesting than here
@@elzach69 I guess with more members there's more movement due to formation changes but I've been watching both the JD version and the og version repeatedly (I wanna learn the choreo) and there's a clear difference in energy. Idk if it's the JD costumes that weigh to much or the dancers are tired due to multiple takes or they're purposely trying to make it look easier by slowing down or something else but some movements look slower and don't hold as much flair or energy. I understand it's an extreme song and JD is a casual game but some other maps are easier than this but have way more energy from the coaches, which make the easier choreo's feel harder. That being said I still think the dancers for this did an amazing job trying to replicate a difficult choreo and make the moves more understandable for casual players.

Ateez are powerhouses and phenomenal dancers, some of the best in the industry and this is one of their hardest. While I agree that some parts could hit just a bit harder, they did a good job with going for the energy Ateez brings out. Ateez’s energy is unmatched and their choreo is complex and a lot haha. I’ve learnt many of their dances and it’s always a hustle to get the whole thing down
But if in the game it is the same as in the official core, I don't know why they complain, it's like saying that the map of how you like that is boring when it is the same as the official core.
