    The feet together, even as a practice swing before you hit the ball is amazing. When you practice swing make sure you brush the ground. This has changed my game. Now a low 80s game from low 90s in one month. Love you guys.

    I just want to say 'thank you' to you guys. With the information from all your videos, taking notes on them, and SERIOUSLY grinding out practice at the range. I have managed to really improve my golf game. With a 78 being my previous lowest score,, I shot a 70 a few weeks ago! 8 strokes off my best score and 2 under par! I couldn't have done it w/out your awesome coaching skills. That all being said, I shot an 88 the week after lol. Just gotta keep working hard and getting more consistent. Thanks again guys!

    I’ve enjoyed this season. Thanks to you guys. I’ve seen my usual score of 100-110 go as low as a 81. I now can hit a draw. Can’t always control it yet but I’m now in charge of my game way more than I used to be. Love how you make learn the swing simple. Thanks

    I started with golf in May 2019, took approximately 10 lessons and try to be at the driving range at least once a week. From May 2020 up to today August 2020, my score has been consistently between 88 and 93, with best score of 86. Hopefully one year from now, I will be able to shoot between 85 and 90

    Shot a 80 legit and that's my best ever. I got my drive from 220 to 250 yards on the range but go back to bad habits-old swing in play on the course after a few miss shots. For us that started late in life with tennis elbow some advice would be nice. Great videos

  • @compa4929

    I tried the drills today. The feet together worked best for me. It made me more aware of when I swung with my body or just with my arms. The one foot drill didn't work well for me. I felt like I had to swing with my arms instead of my body because I couldn't transition my weight without loosing my balance. And the cross grip was just well awkward and not sure it helps any problem I have. But thanks for the tips. I might start warming up with the feet together drill.

    I've been chipping and short pitching left hand low ever since I saw Vijay Singh do it on tour. It really helped me with the yips. I'll try it on the range with the longer shots.
    The feet together and one leg drills are two I'd forgotten about. I used to do the one leg with the right leg back. I'll try it with the left leg back and see what difference it makes. Thanks guys. More ammo to improve my game.

If you struggle with balance in your swing, jumping or not keeping your head still, this is great on the range or with pre shot routine. Helps with over swinging too.

    Can you guys give some comment on the grips Simon Dyson uses?
    They seem to be quite thick, much thicker than normal grips - allmost like putter grips.
    Is this worth trying for "Clubgolfers" - like a +/-20 Hcp Player?

      The feet together one was class. The crack-handed one was really hard, couldn't hit the ball and when I did it was a shank 😆. But the felling it gave was spit on. The left foot (lead foot) off the ground was also intetesting, not sure if it helped, hot everything left (big pull) I use the feet together snd the call-handed one pre-shot to reinforce the feelings.. I will continue using them.. Simple easy drills to do. Cheers đŸ»đŸ»

    Hey Fellas.
    Quick question.
    Could a bladed club actually help a High handicapper?? I seen a post once from a high HC and he said. “Just like hitting a wooden bat in baseball, you know immediately when you’ve hit a bad shot. It forces you to correct. But when you strike it pure the ball jumps off the bat and feels like bitter. So is the same for my blades”. The guy stated that he was playing off a 27 then got down significantly by hitting blades.
    Thoughts? Would love to see a video on this.

    Are these effective drills to do without hitting a ball so they can be practiced at home? Thks

    I was wondering about thé bal position on thé second drill ?

    Could these be done on a practice mat and indoor net or would that be counter productive?

      Yes for sure. You can do them anywhere.

    Please I need some help, I have a good swing and is pretty good at everything except bunkershots but the problem is the score is not good as I should have. My coach said ”You dont score same good as your swing” but my best score ever have been 77 but this year my best score is 81 and im disappoint in my self for not shooting lower than that but golf is a process and I love the game it is so hard and at the same time so easy

    Best score this summer = 74. (With a cold putter.)
    Hcp = 7,7
    Consistency has ALWAYS been an issue for me, especially with swing tempo/rhythm. Hit too hard and I can thin it or even shank it, hit too soft and I can pull it a tad left. If only I could find that golden tempo REGULARLY. :-/ Heading up to the range now to try these drills...
    Am getting much better at course managment which is producing some solid scores even when I'm not on it, so thanks for the "avoid the hero shot" video btw! ;-)

      @@meandmygolf. Thanks and thanks for all the tips. :-)
      Was 3 under through 11 holes despite several lip outs, but then made the mistake of thinking about shooting in the 60s...
      "Focus Niel, relax and stay in the happy place bubble..." ;-)

    i tried all 3 drills. the last one, opposite grip one, wow, with the 7 iron it was hard to hit. kept slicing. 1. what does this mean? 2. with the back foot one, i kept falling forward after the swing. meaning? thanks great video by the way

      Hi Randy. It’s just a really difficult drill to get use to. It will get better with practice. It’s more to create the feeling. You fell forward as your base of support is narrow. Just go slower so you keep in balance.

    Is the 1 foot drill if only staying on right foot for players who get onto their front foot too soon/aggressively? I've seen the stand only on left foot drill but I think that was to make sure weight stays on front foot and reduces lean back. Can someone help me out?

    • @meandmygolf.
      @meandmygolf.  Pƙed 5 lety

      Yes also for someone who sways in the backswing. It helps clearing the lead side through the ball too.

    I noticed on the drill with his feet together (3:03) his right foot slid back before pivoting, was that supposed to happen?

    • @meandmygolf.
      @meandmygolf.  Pƙed 5 lety +1

      I think this happened due to power. That’s ok too as this was more of a back swing drill.
