- It has been one of my bucket list to experience a maiden flight or a maiden voyage and now I am happy to be a part of history as we are doing a barko vlog onboard the newest fastcraft doing Cebu City to Ormoc City and vice versa route via M/V Seacat Oasis.
She will be a challenger to a very busy route of Cebu - Ormoc - Cebu because it has been served by Oceanjet, SuperCat and the regular ROPAX of Roble and Lite Shipping.
In this Barko Vlog I will give you a virtual tour how it was like to be onboard Seacat Oasis from our departure in Cebu City up until we arrive in Ormoc.

another supercat like company! it looks like supercat but in its prime. i remeber when riding supercat it was one of the most grandest and comfortable fastcraft available for cebu. man i miss those times

Travel time is still the same with Supercat or Oceanjet, only the accommodation is better. We really need to open the Ormoc Airport to commercial flights!

Thank you John! I think kaya naman ni seacat mag travel during Amihan. Nag byahe naman ni Calbayog and Hilongos before during peak atong Amihan last December although naa jud days they had to cancel just like OJ and SC. Habagat? That's a good idea we will try that soon hehe.

Slamat sa vlog mo Sir, Plano ko uuwi sa akin hometown Argao, Cebu someday. Magbyahe by bus, from Manila to Ormoc, then ride ferry boat from Ormoc to Cebu. Ang akala ko, mga 1 hr lang byahe Ormoc to Cebu City, almost 3 hrs pala and byahe. Tsaka yong pamasahe mahal din, pero worth it naman cguro. This is my first to travel Mnla to Ormoc by land trip.

Magandang araw din Sir. as of now wala pa pong byahe to Camotes from Cebu City. Before yung Oceanjet ang nag operate sa route na yun pero na dale ni Odette yung FC nila na OJ1 kaya di pa nabalik ang route na yan.
If only they would ply the Tagbilaran-Cebu route. I would take this over Ocean Jet any day. Their "world class" rattan seats are simply unbearable.

@@markceniza I'm curious if this fast craft actually left Cebu to Bantayan how long would it take.The fastest you can go by bus and then the ferry is about 4 hours and 45 minutes if you are very lucky. And how much would the cost be.
@@gwapogreg5837 hmm probably it will still take 4-5 hrs. I was thinkin you mean from Hagnaya to Santa Fe. It will probably be 20-30 mins.

not sure if dha ni sila sa Surigao. but based on my calculation Surigao to Dapa is 34 NM. Pag sakay nako 1hr and 35 total travel time meaning Sean Ferry is nag average ug 21 knots while Nathan Ferry 1 hr and 53 minutes - average of 18 knots lang.
i would love to try this ferry is this from Cebu to Ormoc City Sir? ticket price is 1000 php ++ for 2 ways or one way only? you bought the ticket at the port or online? nice to try new ferries when i come home Pinas, one of our Ferry here was made also Austal in Cebu to Bornholm Denmark arrived last month 2023 June Express 5 Bornholmslinjen its huge - big Ferry bigger than EX 1 and Molslinjen, same size almost with the old ones we used Leonora Christina Faergen...

Dapat ibalik ng MMDA ang ganyang style ng Pasig river ferry boat sa Metro Manila yung katulad nung dati double hul na ferry boat at air-conditioned sya.
