A fun fact that Jo Kwon and Hobi have been good friends for years. They've stayed in touch and even hung out before Hobi enlisted, with Hobi gifting him a vinyl of Jack in The Box ^^ They seem to have a very sweet friendship.

Jhope actually was the first out of all the members to sign a contract with BigHit as a trainee. If I remember correctly he was sort of lent out to work with other artists, before debuting as part of BTS. ( or something like that, I mean as you can see here)
No wonder it was known as Hoseok's Company! Lol.
Jhope's just such a born for the stage artist. I am loving the HOTS Docu-series💜

Jo Kwon performed Lady Gaga's Born This Way on a show called Golden Tambourine. Yes the heels are a thing. On that show he had performed as other female singers and had been criticised for 'drag' by very conservatives Netizens, and there was endless speculation about his sexuality. I highly recommend looking that performance up , if only for yourself.

j-hope wasn't originally a rapper when he first joined BigHit but he worked so hard and just in two years he was not only able to rap BUT also to write his own rap
like in this song j-hope wrote his verse and that makes me so proud of him cause that was in 2012 !!
he didn't want to be just a member who raps to fill a position in his group, NO he wanted to be an actual rapper
and now j-hope's third album is out and he wrote all tracks like he always do , composed and produced the songs too
Jo kwon is from 2 am, a group that bighit used to co manage. bts members as trainees used to get opportunities to be on stages with those groups as extras or as backup dancers.
Jhope was the first member of bts to have a credited official collaboration with an already well known artist.
And this was in 2013, that's predebut.
That shows you how fast jhope being from a street dance background picked up rapping just by living with rappers.
Jo kwon is known for being extravagant on stage. He said that bang pd bought him his first pair of heels to show support.
I'm not 100% sure but I think that apart from being active as a singer he does musicals, I remember an interview where he mentioned that BangPD gave him his first pair of heels

Predebut the boys were usually used as back up dancers as well. There’s one video with Jin and Jungkook as back up dancers. I’m not sure of the name of the performer or the song, but it’s cool seeing baby bangtan. 😊 Thanks for this video. I hadn’t seen it in a while. Jo Kwon was part of 2AM group, witch was managed by both JYP and Big Hit since 2008 . At the end of the double contract in 2014, he decided to left Big Hit and stay under JYP because he has already trained a long time under JYP . He was (and still is) friend with J Hope. J-Hope had participated in the song "Anima" before making his debut as a member of BTS the next year in June 2013. With this, he was able to gain experience performing on stage on music programs such as MBC's "Music Core. In the Rise of Bangtan , there is a short glimpse of baby BTS trainees in 2012 listening to Jo Kwon conférence at Big Hit. Interesting fact : Bang Si Hyuk bought Jo Kwon his first pair of high heels, and he was grateful for that, sharing that Bang PD accept his views about gender identity . Nota : J Hope and Jungkook are Jo Kwon back up dancers in the song "I'm da one", both the MV and live performance !

Yeah, this was my gateway into BTS. lol. Back in 2012, I was a fan of 2am(Jo Kwon is part of that 2nd Gen group)- Jo Kwon specifically. I just really loved his voice and his performances. I knew about BigHit's new group back then- Bangtan, but like others at that time.. we only had BigHit ent's old bulletin board and some speculations on who was going to be in that group. So when Jo Kwon came out with this, and there was an unknown rapper on it.. we all pretty much came to the conclusion that he must be a trainee, and he must be in either a new JYPE group, or BigHit Ent. group... which meant Bangtan.
Yes those are heel-less high heels. Which... were gifted to him by none other than our loveable Bang Si-Hyuk himself. Jo Kwon struggled with his identity, and one thing he really wanted to do.. was perform in heels. He thought he'd get backlash from it though... but, one day Mr.Bang came to him with a box. He told him to open it and inside were those heels. Bang told him to do what he wanted, perform how he wanted and not to let possible words from others sway his choices. He supported Jo Kwon and Jo Kwon tells that story even to this day.
The backing track was always up louder at music shows and award shows. But Jo Kwon was singing live.
As it turned out, other 2am music videos featured BTS members as background dancers as well as just background actors.
But yeah, I became an I-Lovely after this performance. I was all in on Bangtan. And have been since then. 💜

Jo kwon has talked about his performance of Animal with J hope on the program Knowing Brothers there he also does the dance in heals. If you search Jo Know in heals you will find the clip from that show. On the show Star King both V and J hope have danced in heals.
Star King was a variety show with many of the different kpop artists and other artists, actors and actresses there they both there shown different cultures, different interests that people have and many other things, they also got to test a lot of different things. Different groups that was on the show were Super Junior(SuJu), Girls Generation(SNSD), F(x), Shinee, BTS, EXO, 2am, 2pm, TVXQ, Wonder Girls, Shinwa, F.T Island, Epik High, Big Bang, SS501, Brown Eyed Girls, After School, 4Minute, Kara, T-ara, MBLAQ, BEAST(Highlight), U-kiss, Secret, Ze:a, CN BLUE, Miss A, Rainbow and many more. It could be all members from a group or just some of them. From Bts I think only RM, V and J hope was on the show. The show aired from 2007-2016.

Hey John, seeing as you're still watching BTS videos, I'm assuming you're not participating in the "boycott" of BTS and other HYBE groups. I think the boycott is misguided and led by blind rage and self-righteousness but there are a lot of ARMYs participating and now influencers are starting to talk about it, too. Given your platform, it would be great if you took a minute in your next video or in a separate video to address why you have chosen not to participate in the boycott. It would be good for CZcams ARMYs (and people in other fandoms who may be affected as well) to know what's going on and where you stand. As someone who has built their platform largely in part to groups under HYBE, I think it would be a strong gesture of respect and support for the groups (BTS, especially) and the fandoms who have been with you along the way. Please considerate it. Thank you!
