Please stop using the verb lose when someone who was sick with cancer dies, they do not lose any battle or anything. You do not hear people saying “she lost her battle with heart disease”. We do our best to continue living with cancer and we endure hard treatments, paying our toll to continue living to see our children become young adults or to care for our aging parents. I wish you well.

I have had friends or family members who did use the word when deciding to try any treatment available when told they had a terminal cancer... and one friend in the opposite context, who chose instead no treatment at all feeling it would be better option to just get on with her life without it. Her children were adult however. She only lived 3 months though very active for half that time. So yes, all the difficult treatments people endure for cancer, even at stage 4, do prolong people's lives a lot or save lives.

I am never affected by the passing of our stars, performers or athletes. But her passing has grieved me deeply. I was eagerly anticipating listening to her for many years. I venture forth that she had so much talent, poise and stage presence is because she was to shine for a brief moment. She, at a very young age, surpassed most performers in their 30's. She sings all of her vocal range as easily and clearly as if in a talking voice. Peaceful and silky, not raspy and forced. Her's is a gift to the world from above.

You know, the more I listen to Patricia the more she seems a throwback to the golden age of opera. Few if any contemporary sopranos can match the full richness and sweetness of her tone from top to bottom. Most sound thin and anaemic by comparison and many scream rather than sing their high notes and/or wobble alarmingly. She is truly a gift to the world - and, as you say, that lovely face does no harm at all. She is right up there with the greatest voices of the past - Callas, Tebaldi, look to your laurels!

I am sincere in saying, that the first time I heard about Patricia and saw a video of her, still she was only a child, but her talent was undeniable, and her potential was evident! but the first time I was really attracted to her appearance and physique, was in this video , I think that I and most of us until that moment had not realized that our sweet angel... had also become a very beautiful woman ♥
The first video I know of was recorded in Nová Bělá when Patricia was 12, just before she entered Talentmania. I realised then just how good she could be, the first time I saw her live was in Ostrava in 2016, I try to support her as much as I can. UK to Czech Rep is only 1h30 by plane :-) I was here in Berlin, great memories and a few good friends made along the way.

I am sincere in saying, that the first time I heard about Patricia and saw a video of her, still she was only a child, but her talent was undeniable, and her potential was evident! but the first time I was really attracted to her appearance and physique, was in this video , I think that I and most of us until that moment had not realized that our sweet angel... had also become a very beautiful woman ♥
The first video I know of was recorded in Nová Bělá when Patricia was 12, just before she entered Talentmania. I realised then just how good she could be, the first time I saw her live was in Ostrava in 2016, I try to support her as much as I can. UK to Czech Rep is only 1h30 by plane :-) I was here in Berlin, great memories and a few good friends made along the way.
