    I had my test here yesterday and passed my first time. This is the easiest MVA location IMO. Just so you all know.. if it is very busy and you are driving well they will shortcut this a lot. On Northern Pkwy before we got back to Reisterstown Rd they asked me to take a left onto Price Ave, then take a right back on Rogers and left back into the MVA. Just remember that if they do ask you to make a left onto Price that you have to yield to all the oncoming traffic. There is no light there, you will be in the middle of Northern Pkwy so use good judgement and don’t rush across.

    Did my skill test July 2023. This was the exact road course I got. My examiner was chill, just told me where to turn and didn’t ask any questions ( I memorized the turns and speed limit from the video anyway lol) She even helped/ guided me with my parking from the first test lol I’m glad she was in the car with me. Passed with flying colors! Good luck everyone!!!

    Thank you for this video. I was tested on this route this week and I passed. As of Dec 2022, they ask you to do reverse parking in the basic skill test and a road test. In the road test, after every turn, the examiner asked me "What did the sign say ?". He tested me to see if I read the speed limit signs. On W Northern Pkwy (2:04 in the video), the examiner asked me to change a lane to the right and then again back to the leftmost lane. Towards the end, after we return to the MVA, I was asked to park the car to the left in between two cars and that concludes the test. After successfully parking, the examiner said "You did fine and you passed" :-). All the best.

      Hey, good to see your comment. I have a test at this location i am just freaking out because there is alot of curb space (white lines) between the cone while backing up in the closed course and while practicing we don’t have that much distance at any regular parking. Any tips for that?
      Also could you please tell after finishing the road test where did they ask you to park the car once back to mva and did it count in the test too? Did they ask to reverse park or forward park?
      😢

    • @jennawesome2679

      I’m pretty sure they ask for both :/ but how did it go?

    • @bullet-ui7kz
      @bullet-ui7kz Před rokem

      @@makeupbyhunaina Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Yes, there is a lot of curb space while backing up. I found a parking space with a similar setting to the MVA and practiced reverse parking a lot of times until I was perfect. You'll need to find a reference while sitting in the car and figure out when to turn right. During the test, I turned right once I was able to see the two rear cones of the three cones through the rear right window. While turning right slowly, I also kept checking the side view mirrors to see if I am aligned well with the cones before backing up. While practicing, I did this by reverse parking next to a car assuming a lot of curb space.
      At the end of the road test, the examiner asked to forward park to the left in between two cars. It was a part of the test. I was asked to park in between those yellow parking stones which can be seen at the left-bottom of the video at @0:03.

      @@bullet-ui7kz Thank you so much for your reply. Unfortunately i didn’t pass. It was all well until we reached Hayvard Ave and had to make a left turn, i stopped let the cars waiting go, yielded and then went ahead but the instructor started shouting on top of his lungs at me stoppp stoppp and yelling at me, he made me stop on the side of road with a sign DO NO STOP and took over the driving seat. He said i should have waited for the cars coming from far behind to pass too! Which were clearly so far behind! But i moved in safely, riestertown road’s traffic never seizes. It was so traumatic for me i am shaking thinking about my retake. He was the rudest instructor ever!! I could hardly understand his thick accent and his english was poor, i wish to never see that man again!
