I was a police investigator for several years. I had a Pigeon Forge investigator contact me several years back. He needed me to do a death notification. Someone from my area had driven down there and rented a cabin. While there, that person committed suicide. My first thought was that the same had happened. I am glad he is okay.
Perhaps I let my imagination get away from me, but before we found out what really happened, I was thinking that the vacationing couple had gone hiking somewhere and gotten lost, injured or worse.
The reaction of the lady with the hand built toys was probably worth the hard work from the lady who made them. Her joy from seeing was the best reaction.

Thanks for the explanation on the skates, and let me say I've also come to understand that good tow truck drivers need a good background in both math and physics. Knowing how to evaluate the scene, the angles involved, and what happens when you pull this or that way on a stationary object that may or may not roll on its own. Creative thinking in action and a great example to kids on those "useless" classes we take in high school!

Man, I was watching that right front passenger tire on Little Black ("Blackie") like a hawk while you backed up to get that abandoned vehicle at the cabin. I was so afraid that tire was going to slip off the drive and Blackie might take a dive into the ravine. I remembered what you said one time about the edges of roads in the mountains sometimes being eaten away underneath. What a narrow driveway with that staircase there and such a sharp turn to make to get that vehicle. Whew !! You certainly are the very very best at what you do ! Great suspenseful video - - - edge of your seat stuff followed by a mystery of the disappearing vacationers thrown in to boot !

I guess there was some reason the wife/girlfriend couldn’t pack up the cabin and move the car or let the rental company know what was going on? Maybe she was in jail too for something or she just ditched him. Crazy story either way.
I am dumbfounded why the cabin cleaners/owner would even touch the guys belongings without knowing what had happened. They are setting themselves up for major legal issues if the guy had fallen victim to something more nefarious. Would be ashamed to have potential evidence destroyed by some random people who didn't stop to gather relevant info beforehand.

Someone should make a caster thing with a small remote control motor so the operator can move them at thier will. I mean skates,not castors. It should be hard to do for you two your both very smart.

Has Gatlinburg heard of the NEW invention called "curbs" or "kerbs"? Road edges of raised concrete intended to help vehicles not fall off the road? Even Podunk little bergs are getting them!
Hi Jeff I use the go jacks when I'm in a spot were they wont to go on there own I've had lot of luck with using my safety chains to stop the car from going to far. I'll put the safety chains on the bar with the tire, some times on the tire as well.
Ok Jeff You all need to see about adding a go pro that's on the back of a truck and backwards so when you're backing up and it's just a steady view of what your doing and as your backing it up to the scene of the incident thanks for your videos. we all love watching the scenery down there makes always fun then watch you for quite a while Thanks for what you do and be safe
The Go Jacks are awesome. You just have to be on your toes with them. Get ready to hit the release to drop it so the vehicle wheel hits the ground and stops the vehicle from moving. Another trick is to lift it just enough so it takes some of the wheel pressure off of the ground but the rubber is still dragging. If yours don’t have a quick release that will immediately open and drop the tire, look into getting those. One thing you can also look into is changing out the casters to ones with wheel locks on them. Like ones they sell are Harbor Freight. You can change the casters to all locking ones. This will allow more friction so if you lift one side, it won’t just go as soon as you lift the other. Just some ideas.
I see a lot of those rollers used in body shops too move cars around. I bought a set to move a pontoon boat around trying to get it in a garage but the concrete is too ruff.
You pointed out go-jacks, skates are the greenish yellow wedges that go under tires to have a car slide up the flatbed. Not trying to throw shade...I adore the channel

Those animals are called AMIGURUMI. It’s a Japanese crochet form of work. I also make Amigurumi toys. I have made a Doll that is 24” tall. Time consuming but well worth it for gifts.

Those croched toys are sold in a restaurant here in Dallas Texas,$35.00 for a small one,i hope those people take good care of them..

They need to install guard rails along the short distance there to keep people from rolling into the ditch.
