As a Musician myself, this piece is what music is about, the raw, unfiltered indescribable „feeling“ you have where it all comes together, happiness, sadness, ecstasy. A whirlpool of emotions that you dont wanna fight against but just letting it take you to a place nothing is remotely comparable in beauty and sadness all together. A true masterpiece.
I got this video randomly because it was recommended by youtube and I went in thinking it was going to be a humor song.

Ginger. Your response to hearing this for the first time is the response I get “every time” I hear/watch this song/video. Always brings tears to my eyes. It’s full of emotion from start to finish. Even watching your reaction Ginger filled my eyes. There are 2 voices that make the hairs on my arms stand to attention. That’s Jamie McDermott’s and James Arthur’s. There’s obviously something in their ranges that hit my audible sweet spot. I know everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but wasn’t keen on your jibes about him being a clown/clothes being tight and tatty. I’m sure Jake could have wore a sack and it wouldn’t have changed the fact that this is one of the most emotional fascinating pieces of art I’ve ever been lucky enough to view and hold forever in my heart…. I always come back to this song. I first heard this song during the pandemic a day after my dad died. We were still on lockdown at the time and I was alone in my apartment. I remember just sitting on my patio with a bottle of wine and some weed. I let my emotions just take over me with this song playing in the background. The most liberating experience I've ever gone through cuz I experienced that pain alone... Beautiful song, great reaction!

Röyksopp and Jamie Irrepressible have done many songs together their best one in my humble opinion exept this one is: "Something in my heart" so if you guys or anybody reading this is ever in the mood check it out, or miss out!
