Im like a full death and black metal head but HIM is just a full guilty pleasure for me. them and type o negative as well. always will be one of my top bands
I can intensely relate to enjoying various iterations of death metal, and most certainly black metal. There are so many quality records coming out every year, and not just in those genres, BUT - holy shit, there are some good ones out right now within the two.
Don't ever EVER apologize or feel guilty for art that you like. Not HIM, and definitely not Type-O.

I always treated this band as a junk food for teenage girls. "Love metal", bah. And here I'm listening to a Bittersweet (with Rasmus and Apocalyptica which I treat well) and thinking... maybe I should listen to HiM again ?! Now I freaking love those guys. This concert is just amazing !

HIM завершили карьеру, но Вилле выпустил ep альбом. В этом году выйдет новый альбом и в 2023 году будет турне, но он врятли прилетит в Россию
Да, к сожалению, очень жаль, но когда они были популярны, в Россию тоже очень редко ездили.
Я была на их концерте в СПб, то ли в 15/16 году. Голос у Вилле уже не вывозил половину этих прекрасных песен 😢
