      I get it. it’s annoying but if you ever had a job that you you cannot get the address right otherwise you end up not being able to save a life you will blame it on yourself. Plus the dude was mumbling most of the phone call. I heard every word the 911 operator said.

    That's sad. They were high, maybe drunk, and hadn't slept all night. Bet that's a night they never will forget. I'm sure it haunts all of them to this day.

      @@BostonSmitty He's at the end of his high. Cocaine gives you that energy burst for about 2 hours, where it peaks and then you come down and feel exhausted. That's why he sounds like he hasn't slept in 2 days. His adrenals are fried.

      He may be a little rude but he knew the guy was off. Anyone dying would of been pleading for help and telling them clearly the address. The guy mumbled through most of it. Yes he’s high but coke or crack whatever they did doesn’t make you so somber. It makes you quick to speak.

      They got there in 4 minutes which is remarkable considering the circumstances and all the slurring words. What probably really took too long is how long it took them to call 911. Bias probably wasn’t breathing for a long time or was probably dead long ago. 4 people in the room high on cocaine with one passed out. Who knows if cpr was even being administered correctly Smdh. Tragic

      Dispatch is a tough job right now my job is like a police dispatch as I take more calls than I’d care for it takes a toll on you and can turn someone with the softest heart and become jaded after a few years

    The 911 operator is a mean grouch who hates his job and gets offended at people asking for help. “It doesn’t matter what his name is” then follows that up by asking the callers name.

    Damn man, he was probably the only player who could be close to Michael, if not, better than Michael. If u watched his games vs michael he scored more points than him but obv michael also scored more points to him in others. I guess we will never know how good he really was. Big Rip man

      He was rude...very rude...but that is not what killed Len, it was the cocaine. The biggest problem in this story is not that the 911 operator was rude but that a young fabulous star would die way too early because of drug abuse/use.

    A second question, where do these guys get cocaine? Let's work this out. College player, freshly drafted, unlikely the signing bonus had transferred. This was 1986 and banks took weeks to move that sort of money. Were the drugs fronted? You can pay later? Would a seasoned dealer sell so much that a perspective future client would OD the first night? That's just bad business.
    Maybe more than a second question... but seems weird.

      What kind of money do you think he spent on cocaine? Players with that kind of talent have hangers on. They pay for the drugs. In this case, it was Trimble who probably paid for the drugs. Didn't cost that much. I've never bought cocaine before, but people buy it. It's not a rich man's drug, unless it gets to be an every day habit.

    Tribble was the handler. Bias was sacrificed to ensure Mike’s greatness would not be overshadowed or overtaken. That’s my belief and I’m sticking to it.

      Hmmm....it's plausible. But wouldn't it benefit the NBA to have a high level competitor such as Bias? A ratings bonanza. Also, they could've rigged the games or programmed Bias to lose to ensure Jordan's success. Bias could've been created in a lab or been under the programming as well.
