Those interactive video simulations are very good for training. I went through several scenarios on a similar system when I trained with the police department. Their system even incorporated the use of OC spray and some scenarios could be completed simply by calming the suspect by talking to them.

I've been watching DR videos for a couple of years. How did I never see this one? Literally his first time at ARW! Plus, those scenario videos! Plus....the girls shooting the 50 cal...from on top of a car! Solid gold.
That's a perfect way to let people see how things can escalate in a situation anything can happen. Whether or not they listen to you you have to be ready for anything that includes taking someone life love this video a lot.

The Police Scenario Training is so fucking cool. Holy shit. It really is so realistic. It literally seems just like a real Domestic Violence call (although most of them don't include the husband sneaking around the corner about to Pop his wife) But it does happen sometimes, and this gives them really good training so they are ready for when its a real call in real life, not just a scenario. I love how realistic it is and she's saying how she's late for work and putting her shirt on and saying that it was just a small fight. It really looks like a real life call through the eyes of the responding officer. It had such amazing attention to detail. The inventor of this is a genius and helps Police get proper training and really helps them save the lives of citizens and save their own lives. The guy is brilliant.
F.A.T.S. firearms training simulator I love using it
The one I've used has a ridiculously heavy trigger pull. After half an hour I was switching fingers to ease the tension. Other than that they are useful.
CMDR Boom does the pistol in the simulator have a realistic weight and feel? Or is it some cheap plastic gun like from a Arcade Game like Time Crisis or Duck Hunt or something haha
Eric O The materials are correct to a Glock construction (it was based off a model 17), however the distribution doesn't feel correct. It's super top heavy and while you can tell they put the electronic guts where the magazine is, it doesn't feel like a loaded magazine. That was fairly livable compared to the trigger though. While it had the typical glock take-up, the mechanism felt like a 15lb trigger pull compared to the standard 4.5. I suppose one could refer to it as the 'NYPD trigger' if you're familiar with how some agencies weight their trigger springs to purposely make it more difficult to fire the weapon. It doesn't sound like a big deal until you have to pull it several hundred times in quick succession, which greatly effected accuracy to boot.
Yeah those simulators are awesome. Cop haters should be put through these simulators so they can understand the decisions cops make.

I'm in a Law Enforcement class and we have someone come in and we do stuff like this for a week, it's a good way to show people what its like to be a police officer and the tough decisions they have to make.

also yes you will need a suppresor for the ak47 cause not only will it muffle the noise a bit, but it also reduces recoil helping you aim better they teach me alot in equestria.
