Failed the first time so here’s my second attempt making Chicken and Rice Soup

- How to make chicken and rice soup in one pan. It’s a great soup recipe for the fall. I use a lot of vegetables and added chicken leg quarters. I then made the rice separate and poured the chicken soup over the rice. #chickensoup #chickenandrice #souprecipe

You will get a lot more flavor if you lightly brown the seasoned chicken in the pot first then add the vegetables and Sautee them a little before you add the broth.
My son and I LOVE these recipes! I just decided that it's been too long since I've prepared this for dinner and tonight seems like the perfect night for it to return to the dinner table! The problem here is the fact that you aren’t making fresh chicken stock
How did you fail at it though?
Always save your bones in a bag in refrigerator. Make 😊your own stock instead of buying. Same with vegetables that need to be cooked. Make stock!

There's a lot of fat in that chicken.
It's better to cook your stock, chill and de-fat, then you can heat it, add noodles or whatever.
