I SWEAR by nivea blackberry shine over a browny-nude lip liner!!! I am the same color season as Anne Hathaway so I find that deep berry shade to be so so flattering!

What an amazing way to round off my night! Unrelated, but I watched this while painting my nails -- whenever I set myself up for a fresh polish, your videos on manicures ring through my head, haha. I've been tempted to start doing my own gel extension manicures at home, but there's something comforting in a simple polish (and it certainly helps that your videos make me think of the whole thing as rather chic).
As for daily routines, I've been incorporating some toning skincare in my base steps lately! Tried out an incredible formula from a Lancôme sample but found out that it was a Japan exclusive, so I've been chasing that bright finish ever since. But seeing that Merit Bronze Balm makes me want to try a bronzier look as summer comes to a close. Thanks again for the excellent videos!

I’m a lazy makeup lady. Supergoop Glowscreen, Rare Beauty tinted moisturizer, a Milk or Elf blush, and whatever Clinique or Summer Fridays lip color I’m in the mood for. I’ll do eye makeup if I have time and I’m feeling saucy, but I actually quite like my bare eyes.

I just received a Nudestix order. One repurchase (cream lip and cheek pencil in a soft pink), one I've had my eye on (bright raspberry lip and cheek balm), and a new produce, a multi-use cream with spf for lips, cheeks, and eyes.

Love my new Merit products! Merit serum, Linen complexion , Fox blush ,Vachetta eye.
Stila Peony blush, Elf lash Extndr mascara, and 2 Revlon lipsticks Whiskey business, Daylight delight( 2 new shades), Clinique Black honey that I’ve worn for over 40 years. Powder shadow is a Milani all matte warm brown palette. Brows are always Benifit gimmie brows in grey.

My everyday makeup routine looks very similar to yours (you could say I've been influenced) but I can not live without my Tower28 blush and Victoria Beckham eyeliners!

@@matildaonvideo For the day I love to blend out sequin green with brown eyeliner in my waterline, and for night I love to smudge out sea grey with black eyeliner for the waterline! I find those work really well for my blue eyes. Merit shadow in mid-century is a great base for both!
Your favorites speak my language. I bought Ginger (merit) and Sunset Road (fresh) as soon as they launched. I love a rosy terracotta or peach with a hint of coral brown. 😍
Everything is Merit now? I prefer more variety.
Still lots of variety here Roxana! I'm always playing with products from different brands, but I keep coming back to so many of MERIT's formulas. They've been favourites for the last couple of years for good reason, so it's an honour to get to work with a brand I use and love so much! 🥰 x

@@Tracey_Lee I hope you can tell from many of my regular videos across the past two years (and how well-used the products pictured in this video are) that I honestly wear and love MERIT's formulas Tracey ❤ I never even accept partnerships if I don't truly use and enjoy a brand, so working with MERIT after being a long-time fan feels like a natural fit! x
Loved this Matilda! I have and love almost all the merit products you mentioned. The bronzer and the lipstick and blush and eye shadows (ok all of the things) are wonderful. I do wish they lasted longer on the face tho. I have dry skin and use a lot of moisturizer in my base, and no foundation so maybe that’s why? But my real wish is that they had olive tones In their complexion stick. I have light olive skin and none of their colors work for me. I can’t even make it work by mixing two of them because they don’t lean that way at all. Too yellow. Not even in the medium shades. I am basically a smidge darker than dune but olive undertone. I have always had to mix complexion products in the past until recently when quite a few companies came out with olive tones. But I can’t even do that with the merit sticks. So sad. And I wish they had lighter colors in their eye shadow pots. I love to use these shadows as bases and lighter colors would be great. With a sparkle on top. Would be so pretty! But I do love this brand! Now I cannot wait to see your depotted travel palette!

I have to say the product is amazing, very lightweight coverage and dewy seamless effect for makeup. The only thing I was not loving about the product was the unpleasant fragrance. It just didn’t smell great. But it is ok, the smell fades quickly, but the efficacy of the formulation really works! Thank you again!

My routine has been locked in lately for summer: Jones Road Face Pencil any where that I want a little coverage, Kosas Cloud Set Powder for soft all over blurring, bareMinerals Invisible Bronze (may she rest in peace... don't ask me how old it is...), Jones Road Miracle Balm Tawny, NYX Brow Pen, and Lisa Eldrige Baume Embrace in Sweet Fig. I've been out of the bronzer game for soooo long (hence my old old old bareMinerals.) I've put the VBB Bronzing Brick on my birthday list and pre-ordered her concealer launch this morning as soon as I got the email!

Have you tried that reformulated Mac matte lipsticks? They are the best matte formula I have ever tried. So soft and don't dry out my lips and last all day.

I loveeeee these everyday makeup videos from you! Some of your best content. Lately I've been doing ABH Brow Wiz, ND Glam palette, KVD eyeliner, Em Cosmetics cushion foundation just for the redness on my cheeks, and Ofra's Egyptian Clay Bronzer (an old favorite I just re-discovered in my drawer). And whatever lip color I'm feeling up to (usually Merit Signature or Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip). No blush this summer actually--I've been really enjoying using the Ofra bronzer as a blush, bronzer, highlighter combo!
Hi! I fill my brows with the thin MAC pencil and set with clear Live tinted gel. I apply Violette nude liquid shadow to cancel darkness. Hourglass liquid concealer corrects and brightens my dark circles. I love lining my lashes with Estée Lauder Double Wear liner. I curl my lashes using Shu Uemura curler and I love Benefit Fan Fest mascara. I switch my cheeks and lips but do love Westman Atelier blushes and lipsticks, Lisa Eldridge Lipsticks. I line with MAC, Lisa Eldridge liners. Great video!

@@matildaonvideo Thanks for replying! I've been a fan for years. After looking at the shades I know I'll end up getting two, one satin and one matte. For matte it's definitely vermillion and for satin I'm torn between baby, millennial, and slip. I may go with vermilion and baby first, then millennial and slip if all goes well.

have you had a chance to try the new boy brow arch pencil? i wasn’t a fan of brow flick, but i am pleasantly surprised by the new pencil! i replaced the og boy brow with milk’s kush fiber brow gel a few years ago, so i was excited to add a boy brow product back into my daily routine - even if it’s a different one!
my current makeup lineup: nyx can't stop won't stop foundation, makeup revolution cream bronzer applied with a fluffy brush, ulta brand single eyeshadow in the color suede for nose contour, covergirl blush, lorac pro matte palette for eyeshadow, elf brown felt tip eyeliner for brows, essence eyeshadow base, nyx lip pencil in mahogany, and colourpop ultra blotted lip in the color canon drive.

Another great video of yours! A favourite product of mine at the moment is the Victoria Beckham Contour Stylus, I would have to say it’s the best contour/bronzer (I use it for bronzer) I’ve ever used! I’m also eyeing up the merit blush in the shade rouge x
My summer makeup routine: Laura Mercier Illuminating tinted moisturizer, YSL touch eclat, Glossier Boy Brow, Chanel Nude pink eyeshadow stick (original color not the new one) Victoria Beckham bronzing brick 02 and Chanel Boy 54….all tried and true! I need to try Merit at some point … the new moisturizer may be a great entry point and I have been eyeing that glowy serum for months! Thanks for another great video ❤

How would you recommend blending in the merit concealer for undereyes? I’ve been using my fingers as I find it’s the easiest because I’m not the best with makeup tools and find it patchy when using a brush or beauty blender 😅
I took a plunge and bought Merit’s foundation stick. I am loving it so far. Thanks for the recommendation! Recently got their matte lipstick in shade court and the clean mascara as a birthday present. The blush persimmon is high on my list. May be next summer 😅

I've been using Merit Flush Balm in Fox as a bronzer all summer! My very pale olive/neutral skin tone can't handle the big girl bronzers, so fox is a more subtle stand in.

I have wanted to try Merit, so I may get a lippie. I have very oily skin, so glowy products don’t really work for me. But, I do enjoy a light and simple routine. I love Lisa Eldridge’s foundation because it’s lightweight. I usually use a one and done type eyeshadow look - my favorite is Charlotte Tilbury’s discontinued Hollywood Flawless Filter eyeshadow. It gives my aging eye lids a glowing effect.

Despite loving exploring new makeup, I’m a creature of habit when it comes to everyday makeup (especially some of my staples- like my rms bronzer and tarts shape tape concealer!) but I’ve challenged myself this past year to try new brands (Haus Labs, Thrive Cosmetics, Tower 28, Ilia). Recently, my everyday products have been Rare Beauty's mini liquid blush in "Happy" Fenty Beauty's Gloss Bomb lip gloss and ELF's Lash n' Roll mascara in brown (separates my lashes fantastic). And since we'll be transitioning to Fall here, I use Wet n Wild' Fantasy Maker pallet in "Pick your Poison". Good neutrals, great fall colors, and compact for travel.

Tutorials aren't the style of my channel unfortunately! But I love using any of those Bakeup shadow shades as a one-and-done wash of colour over the eye, or combine a couple of tones to add depth in my crease or apply a deeper shade as a soft, subtle liner along my top lash line 🤎 x
You definitely got me to buy the Merit complexion stick after I ran out of my Kosas foundation earlier this summer. I love it, and I have also been using the bronze balm all summer in Quince (I am a vampire and just need a little bit of warmth). I went through a whole tube of the CT blush wand in Pink Pop because it was just the perfect summer color, so I just replaced it with the Saie blush in Poppy. I have been using the Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes mascara from CT all summer too, which is also incredibly good, and I have a backup. I am boring and pretty much just use Pillow Talk on my lips. I need suggestions. 😂

La Bouche Rouge, love them❤Stunning brand! I will check out the blushes though now!, I use the eye pencils and the lippies! I started using the Pixi lip balms in 2 shades for the first time from the UK brands, they are Minty and light!

Just discovered Erborian CC cream, first CC cream I’ve tried and surprising amount of coverage but such a lovely natural finish. Love the formula, but the lightest shade will be too dark for me in winter. Anyone recommend another good CC cream with a slightly light shade please?

Unfortunately no international shipping Louise and Katie, so your options are asking a very kind friend or family member to mail / bring some goodies back for you (from the US, Canada or UK where they ship), or investigating a forwarding service (I don't have one I currently use so sadly can't suggest anything on that front). Are these long wearing? The balmy blushes seam to disappear in less than an hour
I'm always happy with how this routine looks at the end of the day Marie, but the one product I'd potentially top up before dinner is blush ☺️ My dry skin drinks it in! It's always hard for creamy textures to be truly long-wearing, as a fresh finish can't last as long on the skin as a matte, cream-to-powder or powder formula (there are some matte cream blush suggestions in an old video on my channel) x
I'm so disappointed that Merit doesn’t ship internationally. I waited a long time for Glossier to start shipping internationally, but by the time they did, I had already found similar products elsewhere. I’m starting to feel the same thing is happening with Merit. By the time they finally ship internationally, it might be too late.
This is *not* a Glossier situation, don't worry! MERIT is only 3.5 years old as a brand (it took Glossier 9 years) and expansion is definitely part of the plan. They're listening to us! ✈️ x

I'm glad you love the brand too ☺️ I always want to be completely transparent about any partnerships in my content (when it's a brand I use and love as much as MERIT, it means so much to work with them again!) and wanted to give my limited edition sets and the new moisturiser time to shine, but I promise this lineup does truly reflect what's on rotation in my makeup bag at the moment - MERIT has been such a big part of my routine for the past couple of years and that's still true today! Sorry to hear Roxanne. There were still other brands here and I'm always exploring different products, but I really do have a lot of MERIT in my makeup bag at all times! That's how much I use and love their formulas, and was a fan long before I first worked with the brand ❤️ x
I'm very disappointed in Merit. I purchased one of their kits and every single item felt so cheap. The packaging was light as a feather and made of the cheapest plastic. The brow gel tube was dried up and empty, nothing came off it. The mascara was the same, it felt like there was nothing inside, the wand came out dry. Complete waste of money for such high prices.
