I actually watched Merv the other day complain that they were giving suspects too many chances to escape cuffs and he was mad they weren't beating them down faster. This shift really needs some better command
eh the cops could just shoot most crims down...most cops want to give people a chance to escape, why would they need better command? Cops don't actually care about the W's and Ls as much as crimes....most are fine with crims running, shooting etc..thye want the chase and rp content. who cares if the crim gets away, gets caught whatever

Many of the 3.5 changes buff cops, and push them to go harder because its widely considered that criminals have been abusing known server rules, not the other way around. Cops are supposed to go harder than they've being going vs things like breaking cuffs, multiple vehical swaps, etc...the issue on server, isn't "oh wow the cops are mean" its kinda on server become "oh wow there are rarely any consequences for criminals multiple escape attempts, if a criminal wants to get away from a robbery, stop crashing out and geting arrested, not break cuffs for 30 minutes...because thats just 1 person mini game rp and a waste of everyone eles' time" so Merv is 100% correct in that cops need to go harder and beat criminals down faster. Criminals need to stop getting caught, actually come up with intelligent escape plans, drive better, etc not abuse the cuff breaking mechanic and use of force limitations
@@r00kiet80 for example increased number of units on bank jobs, the "yea we aren't going to not have air 1 if we think we need air 1" negoiations are because its widely considered at least on the server that the cops DO go too easy, and that criminals simply use the fact that they know the SOP to cheese their way out of things, as opposed to actually coming up with escape plans, being creative, rp'ing, etc

X plays that Shift all the time and always exposes them so that's not true. The Shift 3 meme is a thing because GGs encounters with them and they are a major reason why X doesn't play GTA RP much. They have literally read chat to find him but since its copixel no one got punished. Other PD members that are in power need to get them together.

PD gets salty because despite having outnumbering units, air 1, air 2, JETS, etc. They still suck ass at catching crims, so they just resort to hard ramming and shooting or mag dumping.
Dean literally said the keys are only to be used for very specific reason. Like an unknown aircraft or some shit. He said it was more for immersion than actual use.
I mean if you follow a good driver for 10 minutes and they never crash how else do you stop the chase? You eventually have to pit/ram them otherwise the chase will go on forever. You can defend against a ram/pit. I dont agree with pitting in like the first 5-10 minutes but after a bit you have to.

he did I think before this he was leading shift 3 against HOA vault, actually had good command caught everyone but 1 suspect, and it was a hard chase to they split into helis, some went into buildings and started blasting, and one was in a car all without unnecessary force unless warranted

The only bad pit or ram I saw when Ramee was leaving ally way and was in the air at like 70 mph. All the pit/ram was at low speeds when Ramee spun out due to his own bad driving, and they were trying to box him. The hacking of the tracker took way to long.
