I buy my jams from health food shops, organic and they have been made with grape juice and apple concentrate. What do you think about this? My favourite jam is apricot. Could you make some without using white sugar ?I have jam on my bread every day for br3akfast with olives and walnuts and black organic tea. I am vegetarian for life. My second and last meal of the day is at 1930 hrs just recently I have been making oats dosa with tomato, onion, chilli, and green bell pepper with a t sp of goays yogurt and it is wonderful I could eat it everyday. If one ate oats every day would it not be good for one?
+littlebylittleworld If you store it at room temp...it would probably stay good for only a couple of days...but if in fridge it will stay for months...I do have a small jar still left in the fridge ...hope this helps :)

Yeah I added only 1 cup of sugar (mostly because I’m using 1 pineapple (or a little more than half of one) and it was perfect. My pineapple was also quite ripe so you gotta account for that as well :)

No you cant use honey in hot food. you can use palm sugar or even without sugar....sugar free pineapple jam is also an option :)

Nope, sugar is sugar. It’ll just have a darker color. (And perhaps taste a little more carameley, but I’m not quite sure)
