- I have been living in Malta for 9 years and this is what i learned !! Time flies so fast, back in 2015 i moved to Malta without knowing anything about the island. I had to start from 0 and work my way up. Now after 9 years living in Malta i can proudly say its the best decision i made. Malta is generally sunny, always visited by tourists, its never boring and there is a lot of work opportunities in each sector. This is by far my most personal video about my life in Malta, this country has treated me so well and im so happy living here!

Thank you for watching
Only nine years and you know more about the island than Englishman in Malta knows after over twenty years.. I have every respect for you. Keep up the good work.
LOL well, in fairness Steve and Alex have different audiences with perhaps a little overlap. I actually enjoy Steve's stream-of-consciousness commentary as he wanders about the islands showing the sights and talking about restaurants; it's a hoot when he goes off on a tangent or his train of thought jumps the track. Hint to Alex - borrow Steve's GoPro and take us on some narrated drives. Malta is fortunate to have two such cheerful CZcamsrs talking about the country without sounding like shills for the Tourism Board.
@@mikeabbott8521 Well said exactly my thoughts and words ,i hope to meet Alex while i am in Malta this time, i met Steve in winter 2023 and he is exactly as he is on his videos was a pleasure to meet him as i also truly love all that Alex does and have enjoyed every journey he takes us on such a nice young man with so much love for Malta❤
@@Savohacreations My daughter and I met Alex in Malta two years ago, you couldn’t meet a nicer person, my daughter lived in Malta for twelve years so they had a good natter about the island. Enjoy your holiday😎☕️
Alex you are one of the nicest people we’ve met, maybe we will meet you again next time we are on holiday in Malta, don’t EVER say where you live or work. You know my daughter lived in a ‘posh’ area, Madliena for 12 years. Have a lovely day on Sunday and stay safe. 🎂
Awww ❤️❤️❤️thank you so much. Your kind words are much appreciated, gave me smile reading your comment. Hope to see you again

Happy birthday Alex 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎁 🎊
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
Hey, Alex! Firstly, Thank you for opening up and let us inside of your life and thoughts and your own personal story!
Secondly, the only thing I did not like while I was living in Malta was the winter indeed. Yes, its still around 10 celsius or up, and the lowest can be only around 7 degrees, so people would think ohh its okay, but in real life Malta has no central heating in the houses, which means without an ac or a heater, in the house we have the same temperature as outside..which is quite cold. Usually you get used to it, that you go home to your really hot house from the cold, but here you arrive from the same temperature to the exact same one…so yeah, the winter time was a little struggle for me, but everything else was amazing during the time I’ve been there!
Thank you Kris ❤️ all you said i understand, cos back in Macedonia i used ti stay with tshirt and shirts in my house :) if you rent in Malta most probably you wont get the AC that works with an app, in that way you can switch on your AC online 30min before you arrive home 😅looking forward to see you next time you are in Malta
@@AlexinMalta oh that such a good idea, but yes, I guess the AC we had in our flat didn't have that function...Yeah I can't wait to see you too when im there for the next time!!!
I lived in Malta for 3 years until 2021, then moved to New Zealand for another 3 years and now moving back to Malta in a month. Even though I know and experienced all the goods and bads in the past, I'm a bit scared about this move as a few ppl told me that the island got worse and I know I will have to readapt to a totally different environment and climate. But hey, I'll try to do my best and stay positive. Thanks Alex for your videos, I've been following you from downunder and hopefully I'll see you around on the island at some point. Cheers!
That’s not true, don’t let people’s bad experiences put fear on you. I’ve been there for a few months until this last January and the island still beautiful and safe 💗
Happy birthday Alex
❤️❤️
Here's to many more happy years for you in malta alex🎉🎉❤
❤️❤️❤️
Happy birthday sir ❤
Coming to Malta to deposit father's ashes. Lived here three years. 1970s traffic chaotic, in Malta then . UK. ridiculously busynow. Thanks for your live streams. Helped me to flavour what to expect .

Love your videos!
Thank you ❤️
Just want to say A Big Happy Birthday to you for tomorrow, have a great day, Barbara xx
Happy birthday Alex 🎉 well done videos you bring a lot of positive things about Malta you are good ambassador for Malta from Australia 🦘 thank you
Alex ur so right about the body getting use to the temperature. It was january when i visited malta and it was like 15-18 degrees while in my home country it was -15 so maltas winter climate felt like i was in bahamas🤣. Happy birthday brother🙌🏻
Hehehe Bahamas 😅😅thank you for watching this 🫶🏼
Happy birthday dear ❤
Thank you 😊
ALEX, WISH YOU PLENTY MORE HAPPY & ENJOYABLE YEARS IN MY MALTA 🇲🇹🎉 🎇🎆.
Good personal video 😇.
Cheers 👍🇲🇹❤️🇪🇺
Thank you John ❤cant wait to make a video “a whole decade in Malta”
My opinion on traffic - the traffic in Malta is not worse than anywhere else.
I drive a lot abroad. Yes, if you're driving on a highway it's a breeze, but there's nothing really comparable to that in Malta.
When you hit the cities, the traffic is just as bad if not worse.
The traffic in Lisbon and Porto is bad. The traffic in Zagreb and Split is bad. In Romania, the traffic in Bucharest was bad in places, but you even got stuck in traffic on the highways in Romania which just turn 1 lane because of roadworks or they pass through touristy towns.
It takes me 30-35 minutes to go from my town in the south west to Msida (where my work is). I think thats acceptable. I personally do not envy anyone living in the Naxxar/Mosta area haha.
Well said :)
Sorry Alex I missed your video. It's 3:47am here in Calgary Canada, but watching you now
OMG I visited Skopje when I was younger. It’s a beautiful country. Blagodaram Alex.
It really is! Thank you❤️
Alex you are such a beautiful soul & everything you say is so genuine & comes from the heart. One day if I move to Malta, I'm going to live where you live, & I want to be your neighbour, so we can have lots of fun & drinks together.
You are truly the best ambassador Malta could wish for, & I honestly believe the Maltese tourist Minister, should be paying you for promoting their beautiful country to so many people..😘❤️
I hope you have an amazing birthday tomorrow. I'm not sure I will make the live stream as we have friends from another county coming to visit us tomorrow, & we are going out for the day. I will however watch the replay when we get home tomorrow night.
Thank you my lovely friend, & I will be thinking of you tomorrow .. 🎉🥂🍸🍻🫶🥰❤️❤️
Happy Birthday
I hope I see you someday because I was born in malta❤❤
Well done Alex genuinely speech 🌷❤️

Hi Alex, I wanted to ask you about Zurrieq or a surrounded willages. Considering the airport is very close, does th inbound and outbound planes can cause any disruption? Does it disturbing or not at all? Thanks for that.
Bey Jozsef, im in Zurrieq and never hear the airplanes so it doesnt bother me at all
@@AlexinMalta Thanks!
Hey Alex, i will be coming to Malta for a vacation this summer from 6th to 13th july and ive been searching for best place to stay on the island. Ive liked the most St Pauls Bay since it seems best for me and my girlfriend and from there we would explore the island. Is that good place to stay? Pozdrav is Srbije brate, znam da si Makedonac te se razumemo! All the best!
Pozdrav drugari 🫶🏼siguran sam da ce te uzivati na Malti. Yes SPB its a great summer area. Lots of choices for restaurants, and nice promenade to walk. Also Cafe Del Mar is very close :) you definitely need to visit valletta, mdina, marsaxlokk (on a sunday morning) a day in gozo, comino, and birgu (one of the 3 cities)
I love your videos! Unfortunately life is very busy for so many of us.
To whoever gets to read this: Consider yourself VERY lucky if you are living somewhere with basic humane benefits like paid time off from work. I have had zero days paid off since the 7 years I have been living and working in the US.
The traffic at certain times and way of driving is certainly a downside in Malta. The summer heat is similar to all Mediterranean islands. Malta is a nice place but very small.
Thats why i like it, because its small and compact and easy to get all around the island, and it doesnt feel claustrophobic
Honestly Speaking. when you say city name and there is you mentino in lyric and we learn to spell of city.. Thanks ALEX. see you soon in Malta from Dubai.
Good one, Alex😢😊
Hvala❤
I am living in malta one year and a half. On the beginning first i was feeling nice, usually i dont care about other people opinion. On the second month a maltese pensioner scream on my face in my work place speak maltese or go back to your country, and that person make me after to feel very unwelcome here so i needed few months two realise okey they are nice people.
Anyway i love them ♡
Ahh :/ sorry to hear that you had that experience. Im glad all is good now, Maltese are lovely especially the ones from the villages
💛

this is something i see from imigrants. they think that malta is going to be some 4h work day paradise. I am planing to move there in 2 months for work and i am seeing a lot of negativity, but when i examine it, then i would not live in any country on earth xd. When i see you on malta i will say hi 100% thnak you for your content
I agree. There is no perfect place on Earth. Yes please, say hi :)
@@AlexinMalta ofc it is a must.
no work-life balance in Malta? no thanks! :/
There is, but i think only in Summer time 😅
It’s so funny to see that people everywhere around the world will always complain about the same things 😅 like, I’m currently living in Cork, in Ireland, and can’t stand the traffic here, public transport is very poor and you can’t really rely on it. I will live in Malta possibly next year as this year my partner and I are doing our research about the country, we’re visiting Malta next month and all that. It’s very likely that for the first year we’ll be like in a “honeymoon” and say how everything that’s different from Ireland is better but if we are to live there for more than 2-3 years we will start complaining about these same things 😂😂 it’s just the cycle of life I guess and the old “the neighbor’s grass is always greener” vibe 😅. Alex, I sent you a message on Instagram and I really thought you’d take ages to answer me but you were super kind and helpful so I really appreciate it! Thank you very much and can’t wait to start to know Malta and soon move there!
ok to your next live can you go in Ghaxqa pls
Will try in the coming weeks
