Yeah that definitely has been the craziest one.
I would argue this one was crazier, just because it was more disrespectful. In Portland, he had to take the shot in order to tie the game. With the one footed three pointer, he didn’t have to do that. He just did it so disrespectfully, and it was so sweet to watch.

He sounds like an intelligent and articulate young man and his intelligence definitely shows with his play on the court.
He missed the easiest 3 he took all night then missed those free throws on back to back possessions.. Then still took that cross body one leg 3. Insane

One of my favorite memories of his rookie season was when the The Ringer was serenading Luka with Halleluka during halftime of Mavericks vs Houston and to finish off that game Luka made the last 11 points in crunch time to get the Mavericks back in it and then seal it with a game-winner.
Haven’t watched the full podcast yet but for my money Brunson is one of the most underrated players in the league. He has some freakish skills and I think will get even better over the next few years.

Even THJ was once like, Luka's best at games X, Y, Z, actually no, thank God he's not best at everything, the more I watch the more I tend to believe he actually dreams basketball and does what he dreamt the next day :D
Jalen Brunson was the 33rd draft pick! What? The dude was the college player of the year was a steal for the Mavs. JB is gonna have an excellent career, no doubt, and 32 other teams will be sorry they passed on him.

NBA teams seem to have an aversion to guys with more than 2 years of college ball.
He played 3 years in college. Drafting 18 year old, lengthy, more athletic player and training him 2 years in J league and as a bench player is more pleasant for NBA coaches. Also his college team was solid, it is not like he carried them. So not drafting him is actually understandable.

That 2 for 1 shot was straight stupid. That was a "bad shot" but it looked so easy for him and so pure. Truly beautiful shot.
Lukas pacing is impeccable...In all my years of watching the game have I ever seen a pacing so effortless that DOESNT depend on athleticism, speed, and strength.

As an European, I knew his game and saw him as a special number 1 pick. He has although 2 areas where he can have massive gains....his physique/being in better shape and his defensive drive.

It’s crazy to think In a year or 2 the face or even faces of the NBA aren’t even American.. Give it a year or two depending on how things go for these 4 players ( mvps or rings) but if lebron retired at the end of the Season you could argue giannis - embiid- luka - jokic if does get the MVP at least 1 of them will be the new face of the league.
That’s because in Europe they play against adults when they’re teens as opposed to here in the US

I understand the "leave him alone" Point, but please Guys, don't forget that he desperately needs an open Man to pass the Ball when they "double-team" him up...Maybe I'm wrong, but in this second Clippers Game he was forced to turnovers few times in the Fourth, when Clippers pushed defense on him to 110%, partially BC his Team Mates stand kinda frozen, maybe exactly for that "leave him alone, he will handle it" Idea that inevitably settled down in the Subconscious of the Team mates, I don't say it's on purpose, it's some Kind of "automatism", fortunately those few turnovers didn't cost us the Game, but, some other time it could be different.
