  • In this episode, we join Lattice athlete Will Bosi, for a training session at the legendary 'Schoolroom' in Sheffield - The birth place, of hard board climbing.
    Will is going to take us through a standard board session for him, as he also attempts some of the ultra classics here like, 'Perky Pinky', 8B/V13, as well as some of the newer classics like Alex Megos's 'Pinky Perky', 8B/V13.
    Stay tuned to find out what he did at Raven Tor, after his board session too!

    guy just casually rips through some of the hardest 80's board problems then proceeds to redpoint some 8c+'es in the afternoon. what a beast.

    glad board climbing is getting its due. for sure, fnigerboarding and composing has its uses, such as breaking through a plateau. but nothing builds power, finger strength and just climbing technique like a good steep board. turns out malcolm smith, ben moon, jerry moffat, ned feehally, megos, ondra, mr. bosi and so on know their stuff. shocker! :)

    Great video! I love how you explained how board sessions put the best of climbing training together. I'm still interested in building a small campusboard setup at home to supplement my training, in addition to my Metolius Simulator hangboard. Salute from HOLLAND.

    I have a question... my rock gym has bouldering levels set as V0-V12.
    When you say 8a (for example) would that be considered V8 or do gyms label their routes different?

    • @LatticeTraining
      @LatticeTraining  Před 2 lety +8

      Good question, 8A in font grades is equivalent to V11
