This is a 2018 YZ450f exhaust comparison between stock an a FMF 4.1 ti slip on. If you would like to see me leave a like or comment an don't forget to subscribe!!
Ricardo Chandia Serrano if you just buy the exhaust and not the full system it’s literally called a slip on. It fits perfectly so it pretty much seals itself
Joseph Foster the only thing 2 strokes have that is better is cheaper parts and easier replacing of said parts 4 strokes are fuel injected have e start good power in every rpm range last longer and are super torqy
I have a 2019 yz450fx with over 200 hours on it and the original lithium ion battery. Never one time has it let me down. How often do you have to kickstart your car or truck? Can also bump start the bike if low
I've watched this over 20 times. The more I watch the better stock sounds.
Stock is obnoxiously loud in person
You're fuckin high
I like the Stock length, but the FMF has a nice deep tone.
Lol sounds like my stock 250
dream bike right there
Wow big difference
Nice bike man 👍🏼
Backyard Outdoors MB thank you!
just picked up a 21 450f....got me sold!
More bottom end with the stock pipe
Fmfs new 4.1 setting has just as much as the original that came out. Also keeping the insert in will give more back pressure for more bottom end.
Stock sound is better and louder.
Have to hear it in person, fmf is louder and deeper.
@@skproductions59 True.
I don't like how Yamaha turned the cylinder around...
..the consolidation of weight wasn't worth it....imho.
She was running pretty rich with the stalk exhaust on ! Was blowing some black and blue smoke ?
Jake Hynds I couldn’t really tell you cause I didn’t even ride it with the stock exhaust
@@RockyCagno you could see it blowing out of the pipe when you revved it when it had the stalker on it
@@Jake_Hynds could just be Bc the bike was cold
To install that exhaust, did you just use thermal silicone? because I use thermal silicone and the gases come out, help
Ricardo Chandia Serrano no I did not you can install it without that. You should be able to skip the exhaust on how it is right out of the package.
@@RockyCagno but gases do not escape through the small spaces that remain of stock header and the exhaust?
Ricardo Chandia Serrano if you just buy the exhaust and not the full system it’s literally called a slip on. It fits perfectly so it pretty much seals itself
What insert did it come with?
Gamer Head they have a spark one that you can put in to make it quieter. But I just have the one in it that comes right out of the box.
Yoshimua sounds best like thunder
i love how that bike looks!!!!
I dont like 4T i prefer 2T YZ125 #loveit
El escape original me gusta más en sonido y pinta
Yea stock sounds better
So u want your yz450 to sound more like a kx450...i see.🤔
But a kx is a kx lol
That's looks like the 2020 yz450f or does the 2020 plastics fit on the 2018?
gerald snyder no it’s a stock 2018
gerald snyder there’s a big difference in graphics between the 2018 and the 2020
The 2020 plastic fits the 2018
LLD I know that but those are not the 2020 plastics there’s a difference in the graphics
@@romanolsen5203 I meant to answer Geralds question if it fits, not your answer.
Stock sounds better.
Stock sounds better
what map did you use
hunter leclair stock then I switched it over to Travis Preston map after I rode it couple times
Mmmm
Not really
????? $
По звуку не чем не отличается
well, 2 strokes are better, thats all i have to say.
@Quinn Reetham-Clayton why not
Its personal preference. Nirther one is better . They have advantages and disadvantages. 2 strokes do have me power per cc displacement
Joseph Foster true but that does not make them better
Joseph Foster the only thing 2 strokes have that is better is cheaper parts and easier replacing of said parts 4 strokes are fuel injected have e start good power in every rpm range last longer and are super torqy
4 strokes all the time!
I would not be bragging about 2018's being in stock. It is the 1st year they took the kickstarts of the bikes which is the dumbest thing you could do.
I have a 2019 yz450fx with over 200 hours on it and the original lithium ion battery.
Never one time has it let me down.
How often do you have to kickstart your car or truck?
Can also bump start the bike if low
