Gigi’s Time from Gigi D’Agostino
Hikaru: i think i blundered
Magnus: thats a clever move
dudu dudu dudududu du du
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Shows how they don’t even know 😂😂
same thing earlier lol
hikaru: how do i play e5 i think i made a mistake
magnus: oh he can go e5 now
“I blundered” - hikaru
“That’s clever” - Magnus 😭😭
it was a clever idea but hikaru later thought he blundered and h5 was winning magnus didn't see it so he thought it was clever
Hikaru: Ugh 😫 Now it's forced Draw Ugh there's nothing I can do 😫
Magnus: dudududududud blap blap blap blap
The fact that they each have 2 rooks, a knight, and 7 pawns and are both like "oh yeah this is just a draw". Obviously a very different level of chess from the rest of the world.
Not really, it takes 1 second for even an 1800 to figure out that its a draw. Its totally in white's hands, if white wants to win , then its probably not a draw but if white wants a draw then black has nothing to do.
I mean it’s quite obviously a draw
Probably played it before
the structure was dry asf that's why
It's just a matter of pawn breaks in that final position, and there aren't any that work.

Naka was trying to do a 11/11 playing a6, like Magnus. Even Magnus played a6 with black against Naka and won, so Naka wanted to do the same. He can but he didnt and a draw is a good result by obviously not for final TT standing

He does care but i think he tries not to lol
I love how they never interrupted each other lol.

@@Jk-qx7gm In Blitz/Rapid, they're close enough. Magnus probably still has a slight edge especially depending on his mood/sobriety levels. Classical is obviously just a huge gap.

Giga Chad Magnus looking at the position and the tournament standings objectively, seeing a draw would be fine and he doesn't _need_ to defeat Hikaru to win the whole thing VS Hikaru forcing his hand to beat Magnus, blundering, then drawing anyway.... Magnus gained some respect.
Hikaru always seems to welcome the draw, or a drawing position nearing against Magnus as a glory bestowed by heaven.
Competition-wise, there are some serious psychological wounds with bacteria 🦠.
Well, the first draw opportunity he declined immediately, and the second one was forced to repeat because he would lose a pawn if he didn't. That hardly classifies as welcoming.
@@a_kazakisits a well-known fact that hikaru fears magnus. he accepted draws in a better position multiple times

@@kalleballenegerskfulhe answered your question why so rude
I don’t want Hikaru to play against magnus once without “messing around”…
How do they know its draw 😮
They play for content but be serious real fast after a few move.
Guys, both of them were were focused. Hikaru knows that Magnus has an edge in the endgame, so his policy is as simple as this: if he gets a better position in the opening or in the early middlegame he goes for the win, but when the game equalizes he goes for a draw. It’s safe and good for both of them. Magnus is more willing to take risks as he has the edge and because he knows Hikaru is satiesfied with a draw.
not really. magnus only wanted a draw so he wins the tournament while hikaru really needed the win
Should be a counter of how many times they said "maybe" :D

I still don’t understand where Magnus streams
He streams on twitch as maskenissen
They're like Goku & Vegeta hahaha
hikaru with 'he needs to go to a bathroom' backup excuses from the start
Obv Magnus is another level to the rest as a chess player but its also his mentality which sets him apart as arguably the greatest ever.. Hikaru here is happy to accept the draw and take home 2nd place as he doesn't like his odds, but we all know if the shoe is on the other foot Magnus is going for broke here and will happily risk losing and falling to third or below if it means he has the chance to be #1..
What's your rating? Mentality does not matter here. You cannot play for a win in this position since you risk losing either one of the two key pawns that allow white to take the initiative.
Yeah it's like his performance at the World Blitz last year. Hikaru has the potential to win it in terms of playing strength, but he seems to be strategically risk averse and make too many quick draws against strong opponents and doesn't seem to get that you can't win something like that just by being a strong player, you need to actually risk losing and go for the wins to get the points
@@NotQuiteFirstit's not that simple, Hikaru would have pushed against 99% of the players, but against Magnus if he just gives up a pawn in the end game and tries to win he has 0 hopes, because it's someone he knows is better than him. Magnus doesn't have that issue as there is no one better than him.
So even Magnus respect Hikaru, he's white and can play for the win but didn't risk it. Its understandable that he only needs a draw to win the TT but surely winning feels better than draw too many people watching after all.
At least Hikaru won in style: he had a nicer shirt on.
where Magnus strim?
Hikaru always never fails to start his start his games with troll moves against Magnus 😭💀😂
It’s because Magnus and Hikaru are the only two top players who are willing to do troll moves, both of them only do troll moves against each other because they know the other will also troll back and it will be balanced
Don't kid yourself magnus does the same.
