This really takes me back to my childhood! Now I’m dating myself. I’d take the Sears or Montgomery Wards Catalogues and cut out my paper dolls. Thanks for the beautiful memories!!!
Such a cute idea! I have some lovely origami papers that will make beautiful outfits. My aunt used to make paper dolls for me when I was a kid (very much in the style of the 1940s) and she would make templates for me to make my own doll clothes. I can't wait to show her these! She's 94 and still going strong. Thank you for the templates and for resurrecting a wonderful memory!
I loved, loved, loved my paper dolls🥰🥰🥰 Thank you for sharing. After the paper dolls, I started sewing for my Barbie doll. Paper and Fabric, my world. (and grand kids)
Well now you have taken playing with paper dolls to a whole new level❣Your creativity is so clever and your willingness to share is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much, hugs and stay well.

So lovely Dragana! I too loved paper dolls!! Such sweet memories! I’m excited to make some in the bell bottom’70’s look!! ( My era!😂) love it all! What a sweet gift for a little girl! If only my so will have some grandchildren for me!! Maybe still! Yay!! Thank you again!💕
2nd comment! Yes when I was an extremely poor child I had dreams of becoming a fashion designer. I did learn from necessity how to sew well and pursued that for a time but strangely enough ended up with a wonderful career with NASA and degree in mathematics! Hardly dress design but in a way working with patterns gave me a beginning in at least arithmetic (5/9” seams etc.) And the clothes let me fit in with my peers! 💕💕
Oh my goodness, absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these, so awesome. Have been pulling stuff together to do a sewing journal, this will be a great addition, thanks so much!! My pup gets nervous when it gets windy, yep, a killer German Shephard for sure, lol. She is on my heels when outside, or hiding in my closet when the wind picks up. She's on high alert with her eyes darting around, I think because she hears the noise but doesn't know where it's coming from so she's constantly looking for the source to protect me, yep, she's my girl. Have a wonderful day!! 💜💜💜
I’m really glad you liked the idea! Wow, I think some dogs no matter how large are still like babies. Love them! My poor boy is a Karst shepherd, not afraid of anything or anyone, but thunder and fireworks gets him into panic mode. Half way through the video the storm picked up and I had the windows closed but when I watched the recording later, I could hear the thunder. My other dog, husky cross, is totally oblivious to noise. She couldn’t care less. Slept through the storm like a baby 😆.

Hardly dress design but in a way working with patterns gave me a beginning in at least arithmetic (5/9” seams etc.) And the clothes let me fit in with my peers! 💕💕 yes, especially sewing with clothes…good mix…I also recently bought a stamp that looks so much like real sewing that it is amazing!!
I discovered paper dolls late in childhood and consequently never felt like I got my fill of them. Thank you soooo much for this! I'm going to have a grand time. Loved watching you having so much fun.
Oh my gosh! This is so cool! If I could draw, I would draw a doll for these clothes to fit and then add a small amount of Velcro to the clothes and doll and play with it! I loved paper dolls as a little girl, and I know some little girls that would love to play with this! I’m off to my craft room! Thanks so much for your excellent videos and for unselfishly sharing your lovely ideas and templates.❤
What a pretty and lovely tutorial. Enjoyed watching the playing with all these adorable dresses 🧡😍And also your funny giggles, that showed us how much fun you had yourself 🤗😁 You make me smile anytime I watch some of your videos. Thank you so much for the freebies, will definitely try so play with 😘
PS… So sorry…I got so excited about the project that I forgot to say Thank you for the wonderful freebies!! So thoughtful and kind and sweet of you!! So many amazing ideas…I recently started playing with shrinky dinks and they will be fun for so many uses! Also the jewelry possibilities…yay!!💕
These would be cute to make from garment fabrics used for special occasions such as weddings, Christenings, or holidas. If you print the patterns into freezer paper, you could iron them temporarily onto fabrics to make it easier to cut them out. Also can iron fabrics onto freezer paper and run through the printer to print directly onto the fabric.
This is wonderful and it's so fun watching and listening to you, esp. when you laugh with obvious joy at what you've created!!😄🥰 I also loved my paper dolls when I was a little girl and would make clothes for them out of scraps of fabric or paper. What a great memory and you can be sure I'll be making some of these for my sewing journal!! Thank you, thank you! 🤗
This video was so fun and enjoyable and it brought back the fun times of playing with paper dolls as parents couldn't afford real dolls. I love playing with the paper and can't wait to grab your templates and get busy. You are the best among the rest, love your tutorials. Thanks.
Omg, this is right up my ally. Loved to play with my paperdolls when I was little. Thank you so much for the sweet freebee, so much appreciated!!! 😍😍😍😍😍
This is so cute, I just made a sewing folio for my granddaughter she wants to sew her own clothes. She draws things like this all the time. Love this. ❤️ Thanks 😊
Thank you so much Dragana, I really really enjoyed watching you create these beautiful and unique pieces that we can all relate to and have some fun with too. Really really love ❤❤❤❤ this idea, and I think it’s very addictive too. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
I did the exact thing I would even get my grandma‘s old Sears book and cut out clothes and stuff from my paper dolls and I had a shoebox. I’d keep them all in.
28:40 Purchasing clothes with the idea of using them in the future in journals? Great, this guidance protects from any shopping mistakes 😊. I will do the ‘laminating’ of dresses for charms with clear packing tape as I managed to still not buy the machine and pouches. Your pieces are so incredibly beautiful, impeccable, interesting. Great. I loved paper dolls in my childhood and will sure enjoy them in JJs now. I am thinking - why in my childhood it never occurred to me to add fabric to dolls’ paper dresses, it is so obvious and I always had interesting scraps because back in those days many mothers knew how to sew. We did not have paper tape back then, but fusing material was readily available. Using templates also as masks on painted papers? Fabulous, even more motivation so start a new project pouch 😊 with quick prototypes and notes. Maybe you can film part 2 when you are in the mood for mess cleaning?
Thank you so much for your lovely comment. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I used the templates in the latest gelli printing video and I outlined the forms with some Posca pens afterwards. That was even more fun! I’m still cleaning the mess I made but it was so worth it 😀
Hi 🥰 Thank you for the free templates 🤗 You make the most beautiful things - I love it🤩 I am an art teacher, and just like you I love using recycles in my crafts 😜 You are a big inspiration to me. TFS. Big hugs from Denmark (Europe ) 🤗🥰
Love this, TFS! When I was a young girl, I loved playing with paper dolls. I am definitely going to make a journal with these designs and what a good way to use all the variety of fabrics that I have. New subbie from Northern Alberta, Canada 🇨🇦.
What a beautiful idea, and so gracious of you to share your pattern pieces! I will give them a try...and thank you for the suggestions for printing and using them. I would also make paper dolls and dress them as a child; sometimes my sister and I would cut out comic book characters and make them some clothes, or backgrounds to play with them.
Your video is very inspiring and your dolls and charms are really very cute ! I love them ! Can't wait to download your templates. I'm sure it looks just great in any journal ! Thank you so much for sharing and for the free templates. Greets from France.
