That e-track and Packout shelving gives a means to create a whole storage system without the weight of custom wooden shelving/cubbies. It's easily removable for a situation were you need to load up something very large in the trailer(motorcycles or ATVs), or upgrade to a new trailer.
Heck ya! And imagine all the time spent figuring out and building wooden shelving/ cubbies? You nailed it! Sometimes I need to strip the entire trailer to help someone move and need all the space I can get. I do plan on upgrading to a 2 or 4 foot longer trailer at some point, and now that I’ve got the setup configured just need to bolt in the etrack and it all goes in to the new trailer.
I did eventually…. When they are snug it keeps the mounts pretty stiff but depending how much weight is on there I like to snug them up with ratchet straps
No I was still deciding how to configure them and didn’t have it tightened yet. It’s much less flimsy once it’s tightened, but there’s still a 50 pound weight limit so I use straps to take some of the weight off

I agree that in this application that would help a bit, as the etrack definitely has give in some spots. However the trailer is built with 1” tubing on 24” centres. Adding more screws in between would not help because there is nothing into which I can screw, just 1/4” plywood

Use vertical E-track... how you expect the horizontal rail to hold that weight?

Did you have the “shoring” bolt tightened in the part where you said they were flimsy. I don’t think I want these if that’s the case.

You mean add more screws to better secure the etrack to the trailer?
