I've had the same scale for many years. I think I paid 5 bucks at Academy, and it takes no batteries, and it works every time. Norms was a little bigger.
you should do a 1v1 combo building but the trick is instead of most expensive or cheapest you gotta come up with cleanest combo. best color way , most eye catching combo. including line and maybe lures too

I think you guys should collaborate and set up outside an Academy or Walmart and try to see if there are kids wanting to get into fishing and take 5 kids inside and buy a complete startup kit for each to keep. After all they are the future of our sport!! Great video guys!

When you guys started doing most of your videos with at least one of this Googan pack they went from great to……BANGING! Awesome and hilarious with great tips keep rollin.
So there's actually a reason to test the rod by smacking the back. It shows the sensitivity of it. For example, my steelhead rod is incredibly sensitive compared to the rest of my family because I did the rod wiggle thing. It's also how I choose any rods with an action below medium light. Ultralight sometimes deceive you and they're not sensitive at all, even if they are flimsy

I think honestly you should have gave an official length with the googan rod atleast and if we are going off weight I'd say you won this one LOJO! Was definitely the closest 1v1 I've seen between you guys to be able to keep your own rods at the end but you always let Norm keep his rod so nice to see something different. Also Norm does have longer arms 😏

Testing the bend is a thing I do because the action is different between rods and series of rod if you know what you like and know how it feels you can go and look at different brands and get more that might be a little cheaper

i’ve had a bass for 3 years and he died yesterday but that lateral line almost reflects their state of mind, when i fed him it was very strong, when i cleaned his tank and he was nervous it was nonexistent. Pretty much just how comfortable they are i think from what i’ve seen.
challenge idea, all gear you've never actually used on your channels before. price doesn't matter, but maybe bonus points for whoever ends up with the cheapest, then have a mixed species competition so you're all totally out of your comfort zones

Lojo's fish is heavier for sure. The long skinny spawned out ones are always lighter than I think they'll be.
I work at an academy in Texas and 100% Norm is the average fishing customer who looks for a rod
Norm wins hands down! Next challenge, The grab bag challenge box up all fishing equipment separately boxed unidentifiable and each of you pick rod box, reel box, bait box and lure box. You won’t know what you have as a combo till the challenge starts!
