I got one of those I bought it the first day it came out. I love it!
I just picked up one of these at my thrift store for $4. So far, I love it. The docking station is of no use right now, but perhaps I’ll buy an adapter to get some use out of it. Until then, I just use an auxiliary cord in the “audio in” port and plug my phone in using the headphone jack (fortunately I have a newer phone that still has one of those). I don’t have the remote, but no big deal to me. The overall sound out of this unit rivals that of any smaller or mid sized Bluetooth speaker, and despite some reviews I’ve read, I think the bass is actually quite good with the Mega Bass function used. I love the ability to preset my favorite radio stations and the FM reception is really pretty good. And of course it features all the functions of your basic clock radio with digital tuning and automatic time setting. Overall probably the best $4 clock radio I’ll ever own. If you run across one while out thrifting, I’d pick it up.
Just thrifted one for $2! Took a few Lysol wipes & some elbow grease but looks good as new! I’m working on saving up for an iPod Classic which is perfect for the dock. Just ordered a cheap aux cable to get me by for now. Planning to get a Bluetooth adapter for the aux port when I can. Found the remote on eBay for $7. Slowly but surely, I’ll get there. I love mine & for $2?! Very happy camper. 😊
I recently found the exact same one at my local thrift store for the same price. I use it for work and i love it. It sounds amazing! Small but powerful! Sadly Sony doesn't make them anymore.

It's not just junk it's Sony anyway lol and it's good to recover things rather than consuming everything awesome your video on the iPod with a big battery and 1SSD I think I'll do the same👍👍👍
Ce n'est pas que de la camelote c'est du Sony quand même lol et c'est bien te récupérer les choses plutôt que de consommer à tout va génial ta vidéo sur l'iPod avec une grosse batterie et 1SSD je crois que je vais faire pareil👍👍👍

I just bought one of these from a thrift store. The back light is very dim and I would like to make it brighter.
Solder a led light.
I’m sure you know this but the backlight is adjustable. 😌
I just got one.. I tried connecting it but it almost blow all my devices in the house. Maybe perhaps I didn't connect it well. Funny I don't even know how it's plug looks like. I need your help
Most likely, there is a short between the device and the wall. Probably a bad DC adaptor/cable. Get a new one and it should work.
I got same iPod and same radio
my iPod classic 5h gen charges and it plugs in, but no sound! help? kinda looks like your black one?
