Ever notice how shadow naturally has the body shape of super sonic?

There is a little skip you can use. At the beginning of Knuckles Cannons Core, go to the side of the pool area where the floating Chaos is and cling to the wall. Try gradually clipping between the pool and the wall and you'll see Knuckles go out of bounds. Once this happens, immediately jump and glide to the last room where the switch is to end the stage. I'm not sure if I explained this right but it's worked several times for me. I remember finding this out like 10 years ago but from where idk.

this, eternal engine and mad space are the only ones i actually got angry at. every other level was fine, i remember rage quitting on eternal engine first time around.
This level, this whole freaking level, I hate those blue gel things that are comprised of the final boss in Adventure 1 in the Tails and Eggman parts, not to mention everything has to be timed accurately in the Eggman section near the end, you need the Air necklace in the Knuckles part and only then this is a frustrating part because you need to pause time to go against the current however, time is paused for 5 seconds and that's not enough to get to the next switch, I'm not even at the final part with Sonic yet.
1. This game would seriously benefit if the Not-Chaos enemies were removed 2. Knuckles segment is klunky as hell, how did anyone have patience with it? Even with the Air Necklace, the game makes you swim near acid, and it just does not work 3. This level really explains why the lives system was eventually discarded in Forces and Frontiers. Get a game over and you have to start ALL the way from the beginning. And you have 5 lives. Not really fun, is it? 4. How does anyone tolerate this level?

The most epic climax ever, it really shows that every character matters in this game and although I never beat it as a kid I still think it's the best climax in any Sonic game ever

First time through I dropped down to the lower platform on accident and got very confused. Like, if I struggled there, the parts where things were actually difficult and complicated were gonna kick my ass. I've managed to get through it now, but, uh, I'm glad I went in there with max lives because I died a lot on the Eggman and Sonic sections.

The final part with Sonic is the hardest part. There's that enemy where you have to jump off and kill and then get back on stage before falling.
The Knuckles section is a R.I.P to me.
