Jameis had the same o-line Brady had when they won the superbowl except for one player, and that player is Wirfs who they drafted in 2020 after the release of Demar Dotson, but other than that it was the same.

With the constant Head Coach changes, the terrible defenses, and trash Oline. Winston was pretty damn good. They had a lot of trash WRs over those years also.

Overrated. He couldn't make the playoffs one time with the Bucs, while Brady won the Super Bowl his first season there, right after Lameis left.
Any logical Bucs fan knows that our team woes were not solely on Jameis. Reaching the playoffs is a team achievement not an individual achievement. Brady, Mahomes and other great QBs have never reached the playoffs alone, reached a Super Bowl alone or won a Super Bowl alone. You need an entire team. When Brady got here, they finally fixed the o-line (Wirfs), run game (Fournette), reliable kicker (Succop) and the defense actually played like a defense which is something Jameis NEVER had here. Now I am not saying Jameis is not without blame with interceptions, however the year he had 33 TDs, 30 Ints and 5,000 yards, all the ints were not on him just like all ints are not on any other QB. We had terrible OL here that Brady did not play with: Gosder Cherilus, Caleb Benonoch, Demar Dotson, Kevin Pamphile were all terrible. Our defense led by Mike Smith was burned all the time by backup QBs and couldn't hold leads or get stops when we needed them too. We also lost so many games because our kickers were trash: Aguayo, Folk, Santos, Cantanzaro, Gay and Murray. Our run game was almost nonexistent with Jacquizz Rodgers and Doug Martin being suspended at the time and being let go. Not to mention inept coaching with Lovie Smith and Dirk Koetter.

@@just_2swift You're welcome. I really wish people would put forth some effort and user logic, instead of regurgitating negative narratives on players just because it's easier to go along with. Just like with Baker. All I'm hearing is that Baker is a bust and is terrible which isn't true. I don't know too much about his situation but I do remember that he was hurt in Cleveland and some things happened. I also remember that when he went to Carolina they traded McCaffrey and I believe had some injuries to their offensive players if I'm not mistaken. Then he went to the Rams and didn't have Cooper Kupp and other receivers but he had to make the best of what he had. Once he got here, people were wishing he'd fail instead of supporting him since he's on the Bucs because if he fails then that means the Bucs are failing and that means we won't be doing good. I am all for supporting who we have and giving them the best chances to succeed. I also see alot of our fanbase want us to tank to get Caleb which makes no sense because why would you want us to fail so that we can get a QB that we have to take a couple of years to develop again?? Just doesn't make sense🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂
