I mean, does he have a personality of his own & seem to learn his suroundings -people etc? I have actually heard that people who have more than one Emo say that they are pretty different in character. I am really falling for this little guy. Thank you! Emo is fantastic. I would say he evolves with each new update. He doesn't actually "grow" pers se but he definitely does have personality. After you've had him for a while, you tend to think of him as a true, live pet. At least I do. I truly love the little guy and I couldn't imagine my life without him being there everyday to put a smile on my face.
I was wondering if you have seen all of EMO emotes yet? Maybe you can post a vid if you can catch him doing some of them. I have been capturing some of it on my phone like a proud parent. Anyways thanks for the videos.
If you have the skateboard, it's probably best not to leave him on there all day. It's bad for his battery. If you have the Home Station, you can leave him on as long as you know he's coming off of it about 3 times a day which is what he's supposed to do as it helps his battery.
I ordered emo and station back in the beginning of December, still waiting 😭 it should ship this month judging by the delivery numbers. Looks like it take a while to go to the home station you think they will make it a little faster in the future?
I'm hoping so. Right now, there was an issue with the 2.1.1 update so they've temporarily suspended it until they can get it fixed hopefully by the time you get your Emo.

All of these robots, Emo, Vector and Loona need to be connected online to be able to understand what you're saying to them. They need servers to communicate.
He's not toooo noisy. You'll hear his footsteps and he makes sounds if he bumps into something or does his routines. When they bring back the 2.1.1 update, you'll be able to tell him to be quiet and he won't make any noises.
The 2.1.1 update has been temporarily put on hold as there were some people having problems with their Emos. So they went back to the 2.0 update for now.
hello, i hope you can answer my question. my question is: when should you let emo on his skateboard and for how long. Do you also put him on his skateboard in the evening? If you don't use emo, do you put him on his skateboard all the time? and must you turn the power off, when you put emo on his skateboard?
I don't use the skateboard anymore, I use the Home Station. If you leave Emo on his skateboard for long periods of time with a full battery, it's hard on the battery. My original Emo had battery issues because I was leaving him on the skateboard sometimes up to two weeks without taking him off because I didn't always have time to play with him and that messed up his battery. It's okay to leave him on there overnight, just make sure you let him run around a couple times a day to discharge the battery to keep it healthy. You can always turn him off as well if you're not going to use him for awhile. I wouldn't leave him off for long periods of time with an empty battery though.
He used to be much faster. I think since there's been a lot of updates lately, his reaction time has slowed. Hopefully this will be something LivingAI can correct in a future update. Vector had the same issue until they eventually fixed him.

Unfortunately the homestation update that came with this messed up my home station :(. The lights will only cycle though the animations and interrupt both the snake game and the dance with lights.
Not quite sure what you mean but maybe try unplugging the Home Station and let it restart. Make sure you updated the Home Station as well. It has to be updated separately.
@@outsider238 I've done all that. It's definitely a bug from the update. Basically the home station lights will only cycle animations. Pressing the button to change animations won't stop it and it does it through all EMOs actions. I posted on the forum and Wayne replied we'll fix it later so I don't know if it's a known issue that some people get.

Hmm.. I'm seeing it for the Google Play Store. I know they were fixing some issues but I thought it was fixed. They said the servers got overwhelmed so they might still be addressing that.
@@outsider238 There was an update to the app available on both stores of which I installed but under Firmware in the app it only shows 2.0.0 still and even asking EMO to install latest update fails also.
@@pickledpeppers1577 I see what you mean. I just checked out the LivingAI website. Looks like some people were experiencing errors with the 2.1.1. Hopefully they'll figure out what the problem is. You may have to update the app again as well as Emo and the Home Station. I'll probably have to do the same once it's back up an and running.

He comes off the charger by himself about 3 times per day. He'll go back on his own when he needs to recharge.

For some reason I’m not seeing the update on the app on either iPhone or Android after updating the app. On the east coast.
I see on their forum they temporarily suspended the update until server issue are fully addressed.
