  • Africa is more than Ebola, and Africa is more than Slaves. To start teaching Black History, we must look back at African History. And this history is rich with wealth, wisdom, and excellence!

    I love it!!! I will definitely be playing this for my students. Unfortunately, I'll probably have to skip the little but at the end where Ebola is repeated several times. I understand the message, but sadly, I have students who will use it as a reason to start 'joking' about the virus... again.

      @josephevans1265 Před 3 lety +3

      I agree. My kids were able to handle it but I didn't need to hear about Ebola a bunch of times at the end of the song.

    Woooooooow! This is amazing! I am showing this to my students learning about West African Kingdoms as soon as we're back from winter break. And I will also challenge them to learn this rap, kingdom by kingdom. What a fun form of assessment if they can rap the details of each kingdom. Woot! Thank you sooooo much for this wonderful contribution!

      Thats what we took from this? Also do you know who Griot B is? or What schoolyard rap is? its a black owned company and griot B is a black educator/entertainer. These are also pictures... and the same way a person is illuminated on stage to seperate them from the background characters... artists follow the same suit. Lets focus on some real issues.

    I'm confused by this rap. Are you NOW finally admitting that "Black" Moorish Muslims enslaved Africans and took them on ships and sold them into slavery? That's kinda what this sounds like and it's about time people start telling the truth. God bless!!!

    3:04 that is not proven in anyway.
    neither by oral or writin histories. and 200 ships are hard to miss.
    counter point: china has an old map as a claim/rome has the pottery in a brazilian bay/ the vikings have achelogical evidence and writen history.
    having the Masa sail into the ocean and not being seen is not evidence of the west african ''saw america 200 years before''
    keep it 100% or people are still gonne doubt you

    • @msde87
      @msde87 Před 5 lety +6

      One you're being disrespectful I don't know where you go that information but if it's anywhere but Encyclopedia then it's probably wrong. Second it is proven he said "200 years BEFORE" he never said that they were first to find america. Stop trying to be smart if you're not going to do it right.

    • @fareedkhalfani4618
      @fareedkhalfani4618 Před 4 lety +2

      Are you dumb?, He said the history wasn't written down so of course you wouldn't be tought about it because they wouldn't and he never said that Africans were the ones to discover America h said they only did that 200 years before Columbus
