    It is all very easy to put a position in front us and take our time to study variation after variation but playing over the board across an opponent and on the clock it is hard to see even two moves ahead most of the time.

      You are right, though the gist of the video is to teach us about putting the opponent's ideas in our calculations

      In my native language they say: the harder it is in learning, the easier it's going to be in a fight :)

      @@journeytograndmaster it is exactly the opposite! Puzzles and positions are easy to solve at home are very difficult to solve in a real game over the board.

      Then the puzzles you solve at home are too simple :) try solving more challenging ones

      @@journeytograndmaster the puzzles I solve at home are for ratings 2000-2400 elo, I cannot make them more challlenging!
