- Surrounded by mountains in the heart of Central Asia is Tajikistans capital city, Dushanbe. Admittedly, I did not know what to expect when I started my central Asian journey here. Dushanbe is not a well known city or a place you hear much about. And because of that, I was very excited to explore this city with no expectations. The city was full of lovely parks, epic monuments, towering statues, great food, and tree lined avenues. I was pleasantly surprised discovering this city and here’s how it went…

Yeah it was surprisingly very clean and full of beautiful parks
Yes it’s really clean. The government has a program where they deep clean/ groom the city. The culture heavily concentrates on cleanliness and locals take turns to keep their neighborhoods clean when city workers are off😊

It is Rudaki, i pronounced as ee. He is the father of Persian literature, not the founder of Tajik language. Amir Samani is not the founder of Tajikstan. There is alot of misinformation about very important facts and figures in this video I’m afraid.
