I prefered the old scoreboard, but then admittedly i am old and angry. The chessboard is pretty cool, you cvan place a piece of junk on it, and then merge that into a table or whatever else takes your fancy. Great video as always, thanks a lot.
I'm just sad I don't get to keep adding gameboards to my gameroom wall.

yeah, for some people this change has been well received. Personally I really liked the old score boards where you worked your way around as it just felt there was more point to it and gave you a sense of achievement. This new system has its advantages like you mentioned but just seems to feel really empty, just another grindy thing to do with locked pages as just an annoyance. Then again I don't play because of the seasons or the scoreboards so for me this was just something extra anyway! Glad you are still enjoying it though as that is great to hear!
I would rather have consumables I do not need than literally nothing. Unless you have fallout first, there are times that you gain a rank and cannot buy anything on the page because you have bought everything already.
The "seasons" thing still hasn't grown on me. Hopefully they'll bring the scoreboard back next season.

@@smilinbandit4191 yes and no, as you still have to unlock all the pages until you can actually have the choice of all the rewards which will take you a fair bit of time. The issue is that by the time you have unlocked all the pages you have enough tickets to get most of the items ..... you can't carry over the tickets or do anything else with them so in reality it makes no difference as by this point you would have still got everything you wanted on the previous board by level 100 including way more items if you also had 1st! 😛
I never completed these until they did away with the game board aesthetic. This was much easier for me to navigate/ decide what things I want and don't want.
Ended up getting to rank 112 in under a month, and got everything i wanted from the pass, thanks for the guide.

Rerollers are a double-edged sword. Sure you may get an epic, but that epic might just be do two Daily Ops for 400 score. I only use rerollers when I get a challenge that I don't want to do. Mostly that's getting rid of huge wastes of time like running Daily Ops or expeditions to The Pitt.
That is true but that is why I would only really say to use the rerollers on the weeklies so if it ends up being harder at least you are getting a LOT more score points. I do the same as you though, eliminate the ones that will take me too much time.
Less than 8 min is a huge waste of time?
@@jinb1969 When scrap cloth or plant 5 crops exists, yes it's a waste of time especially if it's The Pitt. And when you play more than one account like me, that waste of time multiplies.

They should of kept a scoreboard in the form of a board game and when let's say you get to 20 there's a building or event on the board which is the page . It helps keep your attention, is more fun and keeps a theme.
that is a really good idea, so you have to complete certain events to continue on the board! I love that!
@@GoldenGek not necessarily complete the whole page but at least you have this feeling of progression, let's say page 2 is opened up at 20. At 20 ok the score board there is a town or place or event which when you reach it corresponds to page 2 of the rewards. Etc etc.. could have a little audio log with a bit of story. Like before . Oh well ... Wishful thinking

As a new player to fo76, I kind of enjoy the long-form season model. It feels like I have a reason to play for longer and I don't feel burnt out a week into the grind. Fo76 is a game I've picked up thanks to PS+. And I don't regret it at all.
I'm glad you're enjoying the game and it is really fun. I guess if you're new and hadn't experienced the previous season model then yes, there is nothing wrong with the way this works. There are a load of new events and things coming to 76 this year so you've picked a great time to start! 🤩
I liked the gameboard visually but this new system is an improvement by way of giving us more of what to unlock.
Now they just need to remove the season rank gating so I choose any reward to unlock instead of having to tediously grind to rank 100 before I can get everything I actually want.
I'm afraid the reason for this is to get people to play for longer to drive them to grind for the bigger prizes later in the season so I very much doubt this will change. It will be interesting to see if there are any changes to the way it all works in Season 17 coming in June!

However some games like Deep Rock Galactic and Helldivers 2 have shown ways of doing Battlepass style systems that are both enjoyable to users and profitable.
Heck, I'd buy the Season Pass everytime if it wasn't time limited and was just something I toggle on to decide where my score gets dumped like the upcoming change to seasons in Deep Rock Galactic. But I guess Bethesda doesn't want easy money by making better products.
I am only using tickets on atoms and booster at first. I’m level 28 gonna keep this up till I get to the end and then go on spending spree and see if I can get it all like on a real scoreboard.
yeah, there is no real need to get anything else although I would recomment the new weapon the Cremator as that is SUPER FUN!!!
Excellent video, thank you for explaining the board and how to navigate it. I was always a touch unclear about how to utilize the boosters during the week! I hate running west tek, but I guess I gotta embrace the suck 😅
Thank you, really appreciate that. Yes it seems that West Tek farming is the only real way forward although running expeditions on a full team and lunchboxes will get you max 40k on competition plus the xp for the kills and ofc you get the stamps

Yep completely agree, it's just another page that requires more grind and that you can't even use the repeatable on as that ends at rank 99 lol
I love the new season! I’ve run every season and completed all but one. I have so many carry weight boosters I wanna scream! I like being able to get exactly what I want.
Awesome to hear dude, and yes for some people this new system will be great, I just fear that for new players and a lot of existing players its just an added grind for something with no real purpose. There is no sense of progression, there are no stories that link to the season, there is nothing more than static pages that do show you everything but still lock it all behind level progression. I do not agree with the way they have locked the 1st items behind tickets as in effect this is charging the player twice for the same items they would have got for free and in addition in previous scoreboards and have already paid for! But we'll have to see what gets changed for next season! Glad you are still having fun!
If you save your booster, use it on late Monday, do weeklys, get on after weeklys reset Tuesday but your booster is still in effect, do weeklys again. Two sets of weeklys for one booster.
Yea that is true. However, one issue with this is not passively already completing the weeklies from the 1st week for there to be enough left to be worth it. The other issue is that if you complete the weeklies on the Tuesday you'll miss out on boosting the largest score challenge, hence the reason I'd recommend 1 booster per week and doing everything on wed/Thursday or Thurs/ Fri if you can get away without passively completing weeklies by then.
I’m trying to be optimistic about the new season but already I feel fatigued. After looking over the score board, I see very little to look forward to. There are only a handful of items I want and most of them are on the higher tier pages. So now I have to struggle with the decision of whether to grind it out with little reward for my efforts or wait to see if they put it in a bundle that I can purchase for atoms later. Speaking of atoms, is it just me or does it seem like they are offering less of them? I feel like I will have to earn a lot of tickets and will have little to spend them on by the time it is all said and done. I really look forward to the new seasons but I have little time to invest in completing them. This will be the first time I may not finish a season. If this is what we have to look forward to, I may be done with fo76 for now. I understand Bethesda wanting people to play longer, but what is the payoff for the players who don’t have fo1st or the atoms to pay their way through? In their own way I feel like they have just made this a pay to play and they are going to alienate some of their player base.
I have to say that I agree with what you are saying and I think a lot of players will ditch the game if BGS keep doing things like this. It is a shame as if it's just money they want there are plenty of other ways they could have gained a lot more money and players wouldn't have minded so much. There are def less atoms and they have also been removed from the end bonus page although we do get a lot of caps, but this is not really the same as they can't be used in the atomic shop. The rewards are ok but other than the cremator and the chess board (allows you to place scrap items) there is not a lot else that really is that fantastic!
They cut Atoms by more than half.

I have been doing all of this for a while i made it to 288 on the last board and I'm already at 110 on the current one. I would also add that waiting until the monday/ Tuesday night est to finish all but the 3 daily challenge weekly will allow you to use 1 score booster to benefit most of 2 weeks weeklys at once.
Nice one! Wow, I have only made it to 50 so far although IRL stuff atm has rather got in the way. I usually take it to level 150 before I giveup with dailis lol but 288 is a dam good run. The only issue with holding out on the dailies is that it is super hard not to just complete the weeklies passively but yes, if you can then boosting 2 weeks would be beneficial.

I always roll weekly challenges and use booster if everything is epic in the end of the week, made it to 295 last season
I have a friend that just hit 100 last night... he's been farming west tek and hitting every (and I mean EVERY event) and asking players to use lunch boxes, etc..
@@RompRat42 events are like 25-30 times less effective than west tek, better to just stick to nuka grenades for 12-15 hours
Old scoreboard was great they messed up with this one they also nerfed team xp which is the only time you need your friends because game rewards you for playing together! On top of that introducing expensive currency ticket is the final nail on the coffin

@@GoldenGek The "logic" is more of a hope. Bethesda hopes that new players drawn to Fallout 76 from the TV show won't know any better. Hey, I hated scoreboards too. The original system awarded Atoms for challenges. You used to be able to earn more Atoms per month through challenges than through Fallout 1st. This is just a nerf of a nerf.
yes, I must say I have to agree with you there. The issue is that if they want to attract people they have to stop thinking everyone is stupid. There are a LOT of alternatives out there and the only thing I can think is that they have held out on the next gen / remaster (whatever it is going to be) of Fallout 4 so that this captures the simgle player people as well as people who are used to the fortnite battle pass style mp games!
Fixing XP on teams wasn’t a nerf it wasn’t working correctly. You still get team experience.

No problem and it needs to be Thursday as the Fallout 76 week starts on a Tuesday 👍 on Wednesday you'd only have 2 of the dailies complete

Do we even get enough score points to unlock everything? I've played every single day doing the dailies and weeklies, rerolling some epics and using the score boosts they give and I'm nowhere near being able to unlock everything by the time the new update launches next month. I don't even give a shit about the common rewards for the score rank of 150. What was the point? Surfboards? Is this Fallout or TNC Surf Design?
Yep I agree it does rather suck!! You can do it just but you have to be real clever with the boosters etc

Ha, the tip of changing the weapon to an instigating one so that the grenades "acquire" this effect is really a great one. Does this really work (grenades 'using' the current weapon's legendary effects)?
yes it sure does but I must admit it was not something I discovered. I think I first saw it from Mr Westtek or Angry Turtle. You just need to be holding the insitgating legendary weapon when you throw the grenade and it makes a big difference! :-)
@@GoldenGek this works much better with a bloodied (if you run a bloody build) than with an instigating ... I guess bethesda nerfed the instigating effect on nades ... Be thesda always nerf anything useful for players
@@mgf555 I do run a bloodied build anyway so will have to do some more testing as you mention the nerf to instigating effect. I have not noticed this that was all. I use a bloodied handmade that can 1-2 shot super mutants but switch to holding an instigating plasma cutter before throwing the nuka grenade. From the testing I did throwing in the same spot many, many, many times I got a much higher xp gain from holding the instigating as more of the full health enemies were killed instantly. I will test again! Thanks
I feel like this was a bit over kill for the “wait till thrusday” I just used the boosters the day the weekly reset happens and do all daily and weekly in one sitting there not hard, with the booster running from the pass gave me? Had plenty plus the free ones that so up in the atom shop every now and then other than that great vid? And I have some left over for just a day I plan to grind hard?
thank you, now the reason for the waiting until thursday part, is actually slightly more important with the new seasons as you will need toreach rank 150 to get the bonus items so the extra SCORE points you gain from getting the boosted weekly do make quite a big difference. However, if you are flush with boosters etc then yeah you can use them at any time and not worry much 🙂
started playing again last week didn;t really pay much attention to the objectives yet im currently rank 20, how long would it take for me to get to like rank 71?
Well, it's currently double score weekend so now is the best time to get as much done as you can and use your boosters. However, I don't think the double score works on the weeklies. I can't tell you how long it'll take you as that will depend on how you play. If you ran West Tec utilising xp buffs then you could do it in a few play sessions, but you'd be petty bored. Casually, you should be able to do that in a few weeks.

Taken me 3 weeks to get to rank 71. The season ends in 4-6 weeks, so it depends.

The season pass will expire at the end of may for the current season
Get a friendly reputation with the Settlers and go to gold bullion vendor in the settlers main camp and 1250 bullion and you can buy the nuka collectron for your camp and it even give cranberry nuka cola as well
Yeah good point about the cranberry nuka cola from the collectron! Useful for the daily xp gain from the allys

My friend paid to skip to rank 100 because work keeps him too busy to ever actually finish a season on time and because he makes so much money that spending that much to skip doesn’t affect him but we later learned that even if you pay to skip Bethesda in all their limited wisdom didn’t do the math properly so the tickets given to you don’t unlock everything. He claimed all the rewards except the score boosts, aid packs, misc packs, nuke codes and etc (basically only the weapon and skins/camp items) and when he got to the last page (rank 100) with the power armor helmet he had run out of tickets because they didn’t do proper math. So paying to skip doesn’t even work right and he’s had a Bethesda support ticket for like….days and days straight (since season 16 started) and even after being told the ticket was escalated to assist him better they have been silent and not responded to him yet. I basically told him to cancel the charges but he didn’t want to do that in fear of them banning him or something even though he paid for it and still couldn’t get what he paid for.
Wow yeah that sucks. The entire thing doesn't seem to have been worked out properly at all. I hope he gets a resolution!
@@GoldenGek update: Greedy f##ks at Bethesda responded saying that the last two pages are bonus pages meaning only pages 1-13 are what you could buy all of….so basically “give us money, oh you wanted the whole thing? Nah sorry you need to still grind for that shit but hey thanks for the $120+”
wow, I didn't expect that kind of response. You would have thought that they would have appreciated the money spent from a loyal customer! If they keep that up they are going to loose a large majority of their player base pretty fast!

@@tonic316 you'll be able to get all the stuff but you'll need to reach over rank 130 whereas before you would have got everything at rank 100, however there are a load of items that IMO are a waste and that you'll prob never build or use anyway. However the good items on the first Bonus page do require you to have reached a certain level and unlocked a certain number of items - unsure as to why!?!

No, you won't get the Fallout 1st benefits. You just get access to the locked rewards on the pages that are linked to fallout 1st membership. The season pass lasts for the season only then expires.

I do agree esp if you play a lot. I started a new character on an account without 1st and its actually really tough, esp not having the scrap box

You'll need to reach a certain level to unlock each page. If you look at the bottom of the page, it'll tell you which level you need to be 👍
Did they include weeklies with the scoreboost? Because last I checked it didn't work... only Dailies.
The score boosts will work with the dailies and weeklies but the double score event weekends only boost the dailies.

You also can use a collectron to collect nuka cola's. Easier and cheaper to set that up and let that do the job of getting those cola's
Ah yes ofc, thanks for mentioning that, the only issue is that you won't guarantee the normal ones on mass if you want to make bulk then this could take a while but yes great to have that running at your camp
@@GoldenGek that is true. It also helps with collect nuka cola for the dailies and weeklies. And drink nuka colas for dailies and weeklies.

Mr gecko. When does the season end? Since they are weird at Bethesda. What's the best guess. I'm trying to hit tank 150 before end from 100 but idk how possible that is
I would say Monday 3rd of June will prob be the very last day of the Season 16 with Season 17 starting on Tuesday 4th June 2024

i accidentally bought the season pass so im forceing myself to complete this season
I bought an outfit from the season rewards and it even says claimed but it never showed up in my inventory. Am I missing something or did I just get scammed?
It showed up for me eventually
Normally it just will unlock the ability for you to craft that outfit at the armour workbench, only on occasion do you get the actual outfit pre made

No, at the end of the season the tickets earned will be wiped I'm afraid so you need to use them all up on the season that is running at the time.

It will disappear at rank 99 but other than that I have not heart of it going before then? Are you running any mods? This could affect it but other than that I'm afraid I can't be of much help. Prob best to drop a support ticket to Bethesda and highlight the bug. Good luck

I hate the new scoreboard I don’t know why they would change it maybe they wanted players tog grind more but the previous scoreboard unlock method was doing just fine whatever the reason it was stupid to change it

@@GoldenGek I am it seems one of the few who like the new score board, it's something different, it shakes things up and I like a lot of the rewards, it's not perfect, but neither was the other and it seems to be the right amount of challenge
I think for me the issue is that they have just removed any sense of achievement from it, but also that you pay for 1st but instead of getting extra rewards like before as you worked around the board, you now have to pay to unlock the rewards with tickets that you have to earn per level, for the rewards you've already paid for with 1st. Unlocking what you want is nice, but even this is gated so you can't actually unlock what you want until you have reached the end anyway so it's no better than the previous board. Unfortunately this just feels like maximum cost saving with maximum revenue generation, which is sad. However, I don't play the game for the seasons and they are just additional content for me so I'm not too worried about it really :-)
@@GoldenGek LOL, I can get all of that and tbh, yeah, it's quite greedy that they are trying to maximize their profits, and it's pretty obvious that is part of the new system. Like you said I don't play for the scoreboard alone, I think mainly, I just like the rewards this season, but if I really think about it, the autopsy table and a couple of other small things and thats not really different than other scoreboard items from the past 😂
I complete my weeklies n dailys the same day they come out im rank 48 in scoreboard unsure the reason to wait till thursday to do it 🤔
Apologies if my explanation in the video wasn't clear, I tried to make it the best I could but the main reason is for score boost efficiency and that you won't be able to complete the weekly for stared daily challenges until the Thursday and as this gives the most score it's the one you want to boost. Score boosters only last for 24 hours therefore waiting until late on the Wed will mean you can do the Wed and Thursday challenges with the extra score boost
@@GoldenGek tbh its kinda hard to not comolete any of the weeklies even tho u dont try to but that does make sense to try to wait i always use booster on tuesdays and finish everything im 61 now

I dont dislike the new board but i do miss the score board art and holotapes we would get at checkpoints
yeah, I think they had something really unique with the scoreboards and IMO it felt far more like an acomplishment once you had finished. This new system you complete the levels but that's it - feels very empty and worthless tbh
In A Way I Like The Old Scoreboards But I Really Wanted Quests & New Events That Pertain To The Scoreboards Or Seasons That They Were Featuring. The Little Stories On The Scoreboard Were Cool But They Should Let Us Actually Live Out The Scoreboards & Seasons With New Quests, Missions & Events That Are Actually About The Lore Of The Season 😎

Yes, i completely agree, and the worst part is that the funky peepers paint at the end won't even go on the fixer and only the combat shotgun that no one really uses due to the fixer and handmade, but I get your point lol. The old style board game worked as you wanted to unlock the next item. The entire sense of achievement has been lost in this new version imo
@GoldenGek They've noticed the numbers rise at start of seasons and drop off once complete and have over engineered away to keep us playing. It's become a bling game, heck f076 could've been helldivers 2 before helldivers 2.

You get the union power armour plans from Giuseppe at the Whitespring Refuge in exchange for stamps you earn from expeditions, but atm the actual crafting of the Union Power Armour is still bugged so can not be crafted atm

@andykurniawan1418 don't worry, your English is fine. There is still a bug in the game with the union power armour. This is making the items not appear in the crafting menu but also the plans are not showing for sale with Giuseppe either. Unfortunately, it can not be traded, so the only way to get it is to wait for the fix. I would expect to see this fixed with the next season at the start of June.

I bought fallout 1st. Its such a scam. But im about to abuse rhe scrap and ammo stash boxes so when i cancel and don't get another month ever again ill still have a bunch of free storage
hahaha that is what a lot of people did with the free week of 1st, farm the hell out of all ammo and events and fill those bad boi's up to the brim!! Unfortunately, it seems most games are going this way with season passes / battle passes etc but yeah there are efficient ways to utilise the features!

I just started playing again on the last day of it, and was worried that whatever I put in the scrap box would become inaccessible after i Lost the trial, so I only put in 2 aluminium and a few gold scrap to test it out and see if i could take them back. Spent the last few days kicking myself I didn't abuse it then for free because for the last 4 days I've been liquidating all stored scrap via my shop at low prices to make space. I made thousands but I was selling stuff I need that was the trade off. All for nothing but hey at least it was only 7.50 and not 15. But yeah unfortunately so man. I'm so dead against it too I refuse to even buy another playstation and haven't actually bought a new game in years. Subscription services are a scam and I'm set in stone dead against them, so I'm really hating on myself rn for paying for this. Upsides to everything I suppose I'm gonna loot hoard this month and save it all for future me so it all works out just about 🤣🤣
yeah, I'm afraid you missed it but then again now you know how it works you can hoard as much junk and ammo as possible and just take it as and when you need it then! I partly agree with the subscription services and it really just depends on how they are done. This is a live service game and therefore costs constantly to run and update. This couldn't possibly be maintained from just initial purchase alone and therefore I do not have an issue with it. I do have an issue with how they have done the season's rewards, as now there is no real benefit to having the 1st subscription as before you would get an item at every rank up to 100 but if you had 1st you would also receive additional free items at the same time as the other rewards. Now you have to purchase the 1st rewards with tickets earned that sometimes cost more than 3 levels and you've already paid for the privilidge! IMO this is really not on. Good luck and hope you enjoy the game anyway!

No, once the season ends, your ticket balance will be reset to zero.
Once you reach level 100 the repeatable weekly for xp completely go away thus makes us forced to do the weekly’s lol

@@GoldenGek I’ve maxed out the scoreboard doing the ignition core do glitch within a couple hours. Once level 100 is reached the user is forced to do challenges 😅

As a new player and checking out the card . . . are the awards just kind of lame? I have no idea of any of this stuff is good. Plus, it seems to focus on Power armor skins and camp decorations, which I don't really dable in at all. Why not unique weapon skins ala the Screaming Eagle for the handmade rifle?
there are a few that are really good like the Cremator and the mods for this weapon. Legendary Cores, Caps and Atoms etc are always useful. There are a few skins for other weapons but otherwise it's CAMP stuff and PA skins. Unfortunately it's the way they have done the rewards that is the issue. Before you unlocked a reward at every level 1-100 but also got a load of extra stuff if you had the 1st membership at the same time without having to do anything else. The old version also was a kinda cool mini game that was IMO more of a challenge but I guess it's extra content for free at the end of the day.
My thing is, maybe 10 people cared about the peepers paint lol. Why do we need it on every page? Could have been something cool is all I got to say
and they could have at least given it to us for the dam fixer!! That weapon has so few skins yet it is the #1 gun most people use!!
Very disappointed with the new system, will not complete this season. The actual new content is small and can be done in one afternoon. The new system contains less rewards at inflated prices. Item reskins are not playable content. The unique artwork and radio plays from the previous scoreboards are also gone. It all looks like another cash grab.
Hey, thanks for the comment. I do tend to agree with you that item reskins are not really a good enough reward for an entire level grind and the prices are much higher on many of the items. I have no idea why they have done this other than to cut production costs. I must say I am not a fan!
I finished it yesterday, had all the xp buffs going.
And most important, try to do no weekly challenges at first, just try to get that 25% boost first, and enable another scorebooster of 25%, and try to enable a scorebooster after 7:00 PM for example ( so you have enough time to do dailies twice ).

when you enter the season tab in game there should be an option to purchase the season pass - I think it is also available direct from the atomic shop when you purchase atoms - this should take you to the shop page for Fallout 76

what rank are you? you can use atoms to 100 but after that you will need to earn the levels and I am fairly sure the repeatable xp bonus is no longer available past rank 99 so they have made it very hard for people to get the last 50 levels tbh and for no particular reason?! I agree the old scoreboard worked much better and was nice and simple. This makes them more $$ bills though so there is your answer! I'm afraid I can not think of any other way to complete the season if you're not gonna hit it with the remaining challenges, unless they spring a surprise double score weekend or something 😞

The level rank up is the only thing that stayed the same lol.
They complain becouse they used to farm atoms with the old scoreboard.
@gibranrodriguez2104 which is probably exactly the reason Bethesda removed them to try and get more money. Issue is that it's unlikely the people who would farm atoms would buy them anyway but I may be wrong

yeah, a few people have now been reporting this bug - not quite sure why it has vanished for some people. Make sure to drop a support ticket as the more they receive about the issue the more likely they are to apply a fix asap!

in theory yes but in practice no. The nuka does radiation and physical damage and the damage goes through walls whereas the quantum ones seem to be localised. This could ofc be a bug but if you run westtek with both you will see that the Nuka grenades are far superior in practice.

If you can complete the season in one month the answer is Yes. If it will take you longer than one month the season pass might be a better option. The old scoreboard went up to level 100. Somebody on CZcams said that you have to get up around level 150 on the new season to unlock all of the rewards.
On the last scoreboard I bought one month of Fallout 1st and was able to complete the 100 levels in 30 days. (With boosters )
You can complete the ranks and then buy it, then claim all at once.
Yes this is spot on, if you have time to do it in a month then the season pass is best, but otherwise the other benefits of 1st will outweigh the pass if you're a regular player.

I'm doing it to get rank 150 for the perk coins. I want to level up my legendary perks without having to gain hundreds of levels. Those without fo1st will have a lot of tickets to grab items from the last page as there is no limit on them.
Now you need to make a follow-up video. Why bother ranking up faster after season 15? Another one could be why pay for Fallout 1st which obligates you to grind more to earn what you've paid for? Pay to grind! That's a next level strategy.

Yes, sadly having now played it I am getting that same feeling. With the scoreboard you felt like you were achieving something at every level unlock. You also got free items with 1st which you now have to pay for with tickets after you've already paid for the privilege with cash! Lol
They pretty much Incorporated a Fortnite season pass into Fallout 76.

I really wish they would've kept the scoreboard the same. If they wanted to change some visuals that's fine but they definitely shouldn't have changed the scoreboard.

As someone with a life outside of FO76, I find this all ridiculous. Who has the time for all this grind?
and that is totally fine, but I made the video to highlight and show people the best ways to min/max the event as many players want to get the seasons done as quickly as possible. You can easily complete the Season only playing casually and do not need to follow the video if you do not wish to. Fallout 76 has a lot of min/maxing and grinding for rare items or full sets of matching armour with the 'perfect' stats so this is another side to the game that many people enjoy.
Seasons are usually 3 months long. More than enough time to reach lvl 100. I've been playing for 3 weeks now, and I'm rank 71. Still got a month left.
@@nytesla_punk3327 I have played a week now level 21 and rank 13. But I am also not focusing on dailies and such because I want to enjoy the game. The last time grinding daylies/weeklies is what killed my enthusiasm. It might be because I came in at the late end of the season It looks so daunting.

For beginners this game is ALL ABOUT BLOODIED WEAPONS & UNYIELDING ARMOR. Everybody uses SECRET SERVICE ARMOR, you get that by Dam near if not doing ALL THE MAIN MISSIONS. If you are like me and not trying to be weak the whole campaign, then understand this. If you started from level 1 like me MAIN MELEE & BOOST YOUR STRENGTH to max,but also use atleast 2-3 on INTELLEGENCE to buy MAKESHIFT ARMOR or STABLE TOOLS, so your not having to find scraps to keep fixing the chainsaw durablity ( Chainsaw a TWO HANDED FULL AUTO MELEE/MELEE ). This helps kills alot of people fast, save up money & buy a chainsaw from a player or find one from a guide video. Scrap them til you get DUAL BAR & then Buy Flame mod from a TRAIN STATION ROBOT. Build your deck from there. DO NOT WORRY ABOUT BLOODIED AT ALL. YOU WILL NEVER HAVE THE RESOURCES FOR THAT OR UNYIELDES ARMOR. Instead use ARMOR THAT GIVES YOU A STAT POINT ( PREFERABLY STRENGTH ). MELEE IS BY FAR THE BEST STARTER BUILD ANYONE PLAYING WITHOUT OP FRIENDS SHOULD USE. It is the cheapest and less time consuming build on the game. Focus on DAMAGE REDUCTION from here, because the CHAINSAW WITH DO ALL THE DAMAGE FOR YOU. If you can find BETTER GUNS IN OR PLAYERS VENDORS GREAT.
Marksman Sniper Rifle & Double Barrel Shotgun are THE ONLY USEFUL DEFAULT WEAPONS IN THIS GAME.
MELEE HELPS YOU GET ALOT OF AMMO, you can sell that to your vendors for $1 ( PLAYERS LOVE AMMO ).
EVENT EASY LVL UPS: You can find BIG POLYGON Exclamation marks on your map. DON'T JOIN THEM UNTIL YOU SEE ANOTHER PLAYER THERE. This is so that TRYHARD PLAYER can kill them all for you, JUST MAKE SURE YOU GOT AN AUTOMATIC GUN TO SHOOT THEM BEFORE THEY DIE or the kill won't count for you.
FARM ATLANTIC CITY: THE MOST SENSATIONAL GAME
FOR XP & MONEY FARMING, & If melee AMMO FARMING. ( START BOARDWALK )

Hey bud there's an easy fix for this as I encounter this bug aswell. When the npcs glitch and do not respond. DO NOT EXIT THE WORLD! Just go back to the elevator and come back inside and they will no longer be glitched. Hope this helps 🙏.

You really dont need the nuka grenades fyi. Ive done it and it just isnt worth the hassle for me. Its definitely a tad quicker but those mutants die pretty fast anyway.
If you prefer not to use them then that's cool but it's a time v reward for xp grinding really. Using grenades ouside of double xp events you can get 40-50k xp for 2-3 minutes spent inside west tek. If you are a level 50 then the level 100 super mutants really won't die that easily lol :-P

yes I do not agree with the changes they have made and the constant need to grind every single day. I completely get where you are coming from as I work full time and try to make time around IRL to make the content and play the games so it is a tough one.
Idk I work 12hr shifts and I just play an hour a day to finish all my daily quest/score challenges. I enjoy the events on my days off when I have the time.
Also popping a 25% score booster and finishing all weekly challenges in one day gives a nice boost but usually requires some rerolls and an hour or so of grinding
