    i so enjoy this channel. It came on my feed at random because I was playing fallout 4 and watched another channel's vid about the actual locations mentioned.. Watching your vids about North Bridge, Concord, Lexington, etc and the Minuteman, sure made the next time I played so special. I got hooked. haha I can't travel, but the way you present the area makes me feel like I'm walking behind you on a tour. haha Then the way you presented the areas, the walking, pictures, maps, made the area come alive for me. I always loved hearing about the REvolutionary war that brought our independence. Thank you for your channel. subbed a while ago.

    Several years back, I was in Philadelphia. Of course there is Liberty Hall, but there still stands many of the houses and streets as they were at the time of the revolution. I stopped into a tavern that had been there at the time of the revolution. Imagine sitting in a place where the locals congregated to talk about the trials of that day. It was inspirational for me.

    Gruave YAAADS. Like the accent, it really ads something. Also, well-done and informative vids. Out of a ww1 and into a revolutionary war phase. This is the most I've ever learned about this time period. There's so much more to it than i realized. The more you learn, the more you understand, It's one of the most interesting times in history.

    Every video is better than the last. You are extremely technologically sophisticated. I marveled at the special effects, as well as the candid photos. Who would have guessed the struggle you were enduring with crowds, winds, and honking drivers. You would never know from the videos. I think it all seems like a good idea

    Love history, especially our foundation. People either don't know or have forgotten what this country was founded on and for. It's sad to see an almost entire generation who know nothing about our constitution, the difference between a Constitutional Republic and "democracy" 🤢🤮, or the rights and freedoms they are losing and never knew they had. It's tragic. Thank you for your channel, time, and knowledge.

    Being a history nut myself, I highly enjoy your videos! I live and grew up in Colorado. As a child, my step dad would take us on vacation. Mostly for fishing and hunting. He was an avid reader and would read the history everywhere we went. So we'd always stop at the points of interest all over Colorado and Wyoming. Now in my late fifties I still love to go places to learn the history. My wife is from Philly. We've been back there several times. Independence Hall, Valley Forge, Washington's Crossing. I can't get enough. Then I ran across your channel. You're simply amazing. Thank you for what you do. Nowadays, they are teaching a false history of our country. If they're teaching history at all. We have three adopted children in their mid and early teens. When we discovered that they knew nothing about history and never heard of the Oregon trail, I took them there. To where you can still see the wagon ruts and signatures of the people. Now I can show them your channel and relive history. Thank you again. God bless

    I am from Braintree, mass. Just came across your channel. Loving it!
    Will you do videos going in depth on the people of the American revolution?
    I am particularly interested in Dr Joseph Warren. I was going to do a term paper in college (25 years ago) on him, but there was way too much about him to research fully in the time I had to write the paper. Had he not died at the battle of Bunker hill, he most certainly would be considered one of the founding fathers and would have signed the Declaration of independence. You are doing great, by the way 😊

    Hey there Katie,
    I’d recognize you in or outside, it’s not so much your pretty face as it is your voice.
    I moved to California a few years ago from Hull, and your accent takes me back home. Love it!!!
    Would you please make a video all about the “Old North Church”?

    Hey Katie just had an idea! What if you would do some shorts or maybe videos reading some of our founders writings or letters or famous quotes. And or put the writing or quotes in context of time period and current events to those writings or quotes. I think you would be able to keep your loyal followers attention with those videos and also give more people exposure to the dynamic individuals who set the
    foundation for the United States of America! God bless Katie!

    Posted outside of a retail space at 3rd Avenue and 66th Street in Manhattan claims that Nathan Hale, a young American spy and soldier in the Revolutionary War, was strung up on a gallows within 100 yards of this site on September 22, 1776, and hanged by the British. This information comes from a British Officer’s diary, which stated that the hanging occurred at “the Royal Artillery Park near the Dove Tavern at the old Post Road,” which is now 3rd Avenue. While it is far too dangerous to travel there today, how accurate is this or is it myth?

    I’m curious of your opinion on the current tyranny in which we are living? How do you think the founding fathers would feel about the over taxation of Americans and the open corruption of the government?

    • @THEREALJennyTurner
      @THEREALJennyTurner Před 4 měsíci +2

      Thats a great Question. Im also concerned with what's happening politically, and Im wondering how the founding fathers would of felt about the tyranny we as Americans are experiencing in todays political climate, and if they foresaw a future generation throwing away the very rights they they fought so hard for to gain.

    • @noneatall9534
      @noneatall9534 Před 4 měsíci

      @@THEREALJennyTurner the founding fathers would probably try to organize a revolution and fight for the liberation of their people. Funny in this day and age those people willing to fight against tyranny are now considered terrorist and extremist by the government and news agencies. This country is doomed because our history is obfuscated and rewritten to misinform the future generations and lead to the destruction of our nation. The Declaration of Independence isn’t taught in schools because people would recognize that we are living under a corrupt system of tyranny that only desires more power.
