    [HOW TO BE SAVED]
    After you die do you think you will you go to Heaven or Hell?
    We all DESERVE to go to HELL because of what we have done WRONG in this life!
    "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:"
    (Romans 3:10)
    "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
    (Romans 3:23)

    The "Good News" is that God LOVES us and wants to SAVE US from going to that terrible place called hell.
    Check this verse out from the Bible...
    "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have ALL men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:3-4)

    After we DIE it will be TOO LATE to be saved!
    "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the JUDGMENT"
    (Hebrews 9:27)

    God's solution for our sin is THE CROSS...
    "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
    "...Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures." (I Corinthians 15:3,4)
    "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace;" (Ephesians 1:7)

    SALVATION is God's FREE GIFT to us...
    "For the wages of sin is death; but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

    The Result of our faith is PEACE WITH GOD...
    "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 5:1)
    "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8,9)

    At this very moment you have the responsibility of making a decision.
    You can be saved right now:
    Simply make the decision in your heart to trust completely and exclusively in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ as the total payment to God for your sins.
    The moment you do, God will forgive you all your sins and save you from spending eternity in the Lake of Fire.

    After we are saved we are SEALED (kept safe by God) by Being given God's Holy Spirit to be with us until we go to be in heaven...
    "In whom [Christ] ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise..." (Ephesians 1:13)

    The only Gospel that SAVES us today: 1 Cor 15:1-4 KJV :)
    Believe that Jesus died on the cross for you, Shed HIS blood for you AND the forgiveness of your sins (past, present, and future), was buried and rose again on the third day. Believe this and you are SAVED for eternity!

      God has chosen the poor of this world who are rich in faith-Salvation is gained by keeping the whole law-Faith without works is dead.
      Chapter 7
      Fire comes down from heaven and consumes the sacrifices and burnt offerings-The Lord appears to Solomon and promises to bless the people-The Israelites will prosper if they keep the commandments.
      He came to not abolish the law but to fulfill i, now we don,t have to sacrifice animals but we still need to keep some of the law.
      You realize there are more than 10 commandments right?...

      faith-complete trust or confidence in someone or something.
      faith has nothing to do with works but you just trusting someone or something.... please give me one verse in the bible where jesus or god says by grace through faith...

    Don't listen to religious cults . By their fruits and teachings , you will know them . Read the Scriptures to check their fruits and teachings .
    Salvation is made simple and easy by God because He likes everyone to be saved . All you have to do is to have true faith or to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ . You can check this in the Bible

      we dont get saved by being faithful, we get saved by trusting Christ period.

      Matthew 18:6 “If anyone causes one of these little ones- *those who believe in me* -to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
      I’m guessing that might even cause your eyes to get sucked inside out as they’re forced back into your skull before you’re even unconscious. Not pretty. Stop teaching lawlessness.

      Bible Basics please dont post scriptures that you dont understand the meaning of.
      you are teaching a works based salvation which will not saved anyone, we first come to Christ to be saved, than we serve Christ to be rewarded, we dont serve to get and stay saved. you need to learn to seperate salvation and discipleship.
      to say we need to keep the laws and obey God those are works those take efforts from our part. anything you think you have to do to stay and be saved is considered work. stop teaching false gospel friend you will be judged for that because you yourself wont make it to heaven and will receive punishment in hell according to your works

    To sum it all up Jesus says this at the cross..."FORGIVE THEM FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO" Ladies and gentlemen theres the word "GRACE" all because of the power of the blood of Christ!!

      Sunset Boulevard This is the very reason theres 40,000 Christian denominations because of mans interpretation. Your right about the scripture in Ephesians but don't ignor all the other scriptures that testify of the importance of works.
      If works aren't important then why do we have commandments and a final judgement? Why did Jesus teach us to live a certain way?
      Our works could NEVER earn us salvation, it is a free gift. But if we don't live right we could lose access to salvation. Christ's atonement saves us from death.
      Our works (repentance,faith and living a Christ centered life)and the grace of our savior Jesus Christ saves us from the final judgement.

      We earnestly seek God through our obedience, and he rewards us with his Holy Spirit to strengthen and further keep us from sin.
      Ezekiel 36: 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27 *And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.*
      And who are God’s children?
      Revelation 12:17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of *her offspring - those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.*
      Because ...
      Romans 2:13 For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, *but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.*

      +kenny D and it is so sad that the Adventists think that only the ones that save the Sabath are saved when the bible clearly teaches us that we are saved by grace through faith! God have mercy on them please!

    Great message of the word "grace". The book of Romans is where it gives us an sight of the meaning of grace. Well it's the entire bible. The old testament reveals the kindness of God and will punish "Sin". but at the same time he shows redemption and Forgiveness because he is "slow to anger" ..I Love the book of Ruth. The story of God's perfect timing and appointed time. a true mercyful loving God he is.

      For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.

    No faith, no grace, No death burial or resurrection of Christ no salvation
    True grace we don't earn; God is willing to use His Son and His Spirit cannot be earned; nor came by the works ir deeds of the law.

    There are three kinds of people!! One is charge with the crimes of breaking God laws!! He is escorted into the presence of God , the Judge!! The Judge ask him whether he has a lawyer to represent him!! But he doesn’t need one !! He cares nothing about his crimes nor did he feel any guilt !! He doesn’t care about sins in his life nor did he care about anything of God!! The judge found him guilty for breaking God’s laws and sentence him to eternal separation!! The second kind came before the God and told God, Lord I have made many mistakes in life and I have done many wrongs BUT ever since I try my best to live right for you !! I try to do good!! I attended church !! I became a member!! I took my children to Sunday schools and I try my best to keep your laws! By my conscience of right and wrong, I depend and trust in my work to do good and receive forgiveness from you!! I believe that based on my performance in life of good things, you would accept me and pardon my past and future sins! God ask , did you seek a lawyer to represent you ?? The man say no God, I figure I represent myself because I have change and started to live right!! God reply ... As much as I would like to pardon you , I cannot!! You have broken my laws and is guilty !! You have no one to represent you !! No matter how good you change , you cannot undo the laws you have broken nor can you be pardon!! Only through the shredding of innocent blood 🩸 can I pardon you !! You are wrong in believing and trusting in your own goodness to be pardon!! You have not received and trust my offer of grace to saved you !! You are still guilty and I sentence you to eternal separation!! The Third kind came before the Judge !! He would not look upon the judge face!! God say ... I see you have someone to represent you as your lawyer!! The man say yes ... your honor!! I am guilty for breaking your laws in life and I deserve my punishment!! But I have heard of a lawyer name Jesus that could represent me and offer me a plea bargain and pardon my crimes!! Your Honor, you have made a time period of your mercy and grace , and provided forgiveness to all criminals to want pardon!! The Judge reply ... yes I have!! I gave the nation a grace period to have a lawyer name Jesus that can plea on their behalf for pardon!! God say .. I have see you have taken and received my offer !! Jesus the lawyer approach the Judge and say.. yes this man had come to me for forgiveness and pardon for his crimes!! The Judge to Jesus can you explain why he will be pardon!! Jesus Turns to the man and say... I have took the punishment for you breaking God laws !! I became the criminal and took your spot !! I was punished for your crimes and sins !! My plea bargain is my blood 🩸!! Only through the shedding of my blood can you be forgiven for breaking God laws! The gospel is... that Christ die for our sins according to scripture and that he rose on the third day!! His death and blood is our forgiveness!! His resurrection is our eternal life!! We are baptized into his death , burial and resurrection!! We are united in Him, by Him, and through Him!! We are in Christ!! Christ in you , the hope of glory!! The mystery of the body of Christ and the mystery of godliness!! We as believers are under a law!! But it is not the same law that false teachers and pastors are teaching now a day!! They are not teachers of the gospel of Jesus Christ reveal to Paul!! They are teaching another gospel!! Let them be cursed!! We as believers are still under a LAW!! But it is the LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS!! The law of faith ! The law of grace!! The law of the spirit of life has set me FREE from the law of sin and death!! Millions do not know the Word of God and cannot RIGHTLY DIVIDE the words of God !! Why??? Because they don’t have the Holy Spirit of Truth!! Satan transform himself into an angel of light ( God) it would be normals that he would have used people as minsters ( teachers or pastors) of unrighteousness teaching false doctrines!! Seducing doctrine mix with a little truth and error!! Many denomination coming in the name of Jesus are teaching another gospel and doctrine of demons and traditions of men!! Be careful of false doctrines and apostasy!! Apostasy is the falling away from the the message of the Gospel of Grace !! It is teaching and believing ANOTHER GOSPEL other than the only Gospel of Jesus which is Salvation by Faith alone!! Believing in the finished Work of Jesus!! Without the Holy Spirit man is deceived !! No matter how intelligent or wise they think, they will be deceived and confused ! We do good works because the Holy Spirit lives in us!! He produces desires and fruits of his Spirit!! It is the fruits of the Spirit not our fruits!! The Holy Spirit heart ❤️ and our hearts become one united together by Love!! Jesus blood 🩸 mad that unity possible in our spirit!! The Bible say if we believe, we have the witness of the Spirit in our hearts!! This means there are three life changing principles in the Christian life!! First is God FACTS ! Secondly is our FAITH and Third is our FEELINGS!! God Words are FACTS!! 1) God Promises = This is my FACTS! 2) I believe = This is my faith 3) God fullfilled it and I ENJOY it= This is my FEELINGS. God order is always 1) FACTS. 2) FAITH. 3) FEELINGS. FACTS forms the foundation; faith rest on it; feeling comes last!! Most of us put FEELINGS FIRST!! God salvation is here!! But because we have free will , God cannot force us to believe in His Gospel!! When we BELIEVE what God say, we get SAVED by God!! Faith is not what saved us!! It is the means by which God save us!! When we believe , we have the witness of the Holy Spirit within us of what God say!! If God say by believing and receiving Jesus we becomes the sons of God, then it is 100 % a Facts!! We believe that and our feeling of Joy is experience in our hearts!! We at times may not FEEL saved but we are not saved by our feeling but by God FACTS!! We believe and trust what God say we are!! God Facts are God words!! His words are truth !! So We are saved by believing in what God say in the Gospel of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If you confessed the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart God raised him from the dead to forgive your sins and give you eternal life, then you are SAVED!! Do you believe what God say??? Is God a liar??? Salvation is the greatest and most joyful gifts and experience a person can have but they must understand these life changing orders God gives!! 1) Facts 2 ) faith) 3)feelings!! They comes in those EXACT ORDER! a) God say it b) I believe it c) I then experience it in my heart! When God sealed us with the Holy Spirit, He produces news desires and love for Jesus! We want to please God!! And if we sin, our heart doesn’t feel right because the Holy Spirit lives in us!! So he prompt us to confess those sins because His blood 🩸 covers all sins for all times!! But here is the kicker!! We don’t desires to live a sinful life!! The attraction to live a life of sin is diminishing little by little!! Another Word , without Believing the gospel of Jesus Christ, we will not be given the Holy Spirit!! Then we won’t desire the things of God!! So believe in the good news ❤️😊!! We are saved to do good works!! We do not do good works to be saved independently from Jesus !! But that we produce fruits of the Spirit because the Holy Spirit reside in us!! The most liberating message for those that are saved is SONSHIP!! This is your standing and status !! Your new IDENTITY in CHRIST!! You have die with Christ!! All your sins are forgiven and all legal obligations to the law has been canceled by your death!! You have been crucified with Christ!! Now you are marry to a NEW LAW!! It is the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus!! You are still under a law!! But a new law!! The law of faith! The law of grace!! The law of the spirit of life!! When you realize who you are in Christ Jesus, your whole life will change!! Your self image and self worth and how you see yourself will be given a new set of eyes!! You are the Righteousness of God!! But you must receive this status with HUMILITY!! You cannot become spiritually PRIDEFUL and ARROGANT!! You must receive Grace with Humility!Amen

      eh... the bible says if you break 1 law you've broken all, if you go that route. There are bible verses where the apostles say whats expected of us as christians, yes there is an expectation of change in the bible but does the change save us? no... however, it talks about rewards for good works.
      as a christian experiencing heavy spiritual warfare - chasing me away from grace and putting me under the law is one of satans schemes, but if you go that route you arent able to follow the law no matter how hard you try and satan will make sure to manipulate things in your life to prove how useless we are. so thats not the way - faith however - is the way. and one of those barriers to climb over is to trust what Jesus did for us is (more than) enough.
      i guess what ive been trough in terms of spiritual warfare is what counts as "works" BTW, so i think Jesus will make sure we are justified and do whats expected from us himself. if he wants me to do something, he'll make sure i end up doing it somehow.

    Being rewarded for what you believe rather than how you behave is completely unfair. I haven't chosen not to believe, I simply find religious ideas ridiculous and there is nothing I can do about that. Fortunately, I don't need 'saving' anyway, neither does anyone else - I am not 'lost'.

      Well the problem here Dave is that you actually believe in their words which they say are the words of God but are contrary to what the bible says. You need faith and works to inherit the kingdom of God. The bible says in these last days that you will have professed Christians coming to you saying that Jesus is the messiah/Christ and will deceive the unlearned with their false doctrines.

      31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

    I understand that salvation is a gift, but whenever I receive a gift I feel gratitude and when I feel gratitude I want to do things for the person who gifted me. To release man from the law. He was not speaking to us when he preached to Jews before his death, burial and resurrection. None of the Apostles understood this for quite some time after Christ left the earth. And they surely never expected Jesus to use Paul to give out His final truth. Paul is the sole arbiter of Christian faith and practice for us today. If you reject the Truth of Christ given to Paul you reject Jesus. As have most of the so called church for 1900 years.

    Messages like this grieve me. What about obedience? What about repentance from sin? What baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of that sin? What about the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance? What about living a godly, bible-obeying life? Believing on Christ is just the first step, Pastor.

      Donna Morrow Stop grieving , Donna . The Bible has about 25 explicit & straightforward salvation verses that teach nothing but faith to be saved . About repentance , you cannot separate it from saving faith or true faith . In other words , a man is understood to have true faith right after his repentance . About baptism for the forgiveness of sins , true faith or saving faith is one acceptable substitute for the purpose , aside from the fact that baptism can be done after a man is saved ,
      Don't mix the teaching on Salvation with the teachings on Sanctification . The former tackles "how to be saved" while the latter "how to live a Christian [saved] life" . Salvation requires just our true faith while Sanctification requires good works , obedience , love , charity , perseverance , patience , forgiving spirit , etc.

      Faith comes first, then repentance. Two separate steps. Repentance is what God gives. But without first believing in God, or faith, we will not feel repentance, because God will not give it, because we have not pleased Him.
      Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
      Based on a sharp feeling of regret, which is sorrow for our sins, we then repent. Here is what repentance looks and feels like:
      Acts 2:37
      37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
      After we repent, we are baptized for the forgiveness of those sins that we repented of.
      Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
      Notice the conjunction "and." It joins 2 separate things- repentance, and remission of sins, which is forgiveness.
      When we obey Jesus's command to be baptized in His name for the forgiveness of sins, then we receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, which is proved when we speak audibly in tongues, which is a language we have not learned.
      Acts 2:37-41
      37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

      Using a Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, I did a search on the word, "repentance." It is a noun. It means, compunction, which is a sharp feeling of regret. Scripturally, it is only given by God. We do not just decide to feel sorry for our sins, Bluebird. God gives us that awareness of how we have been wrong. The kindness of God gives us repentance.
      2 Corinthians 7:9-11 Notice how they were made sorry. It happened TO them. They experienced a feeling that motivated them to change for the better.
      Acts 5:31: ... to give repentance
      Acts 11:18:...Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance
      2 Corinthians 7:10... godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation
      2 Timothy 2:25... God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
      And very many more.
      Now you can call it legalism, but we serve the God of accuracy. So go on and adjust His word to your belief system if you want to. But you will be in error.
      I wouldn't want to face God at the white throne judgement, and tell Him why His words were not important enough for me to believe He meant what He said.
      Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
      John 28:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
      49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

    Yes, we are saved by grace and faith in Jesus. Yet that is not the end of the Christian walk and growth.
    Grace and faith is the root of salvation. And are actions and works of righteousness is the very manifestation of that faith.
    James wrote: What does it profit, my brethren, if some say he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.' And he was called the friend of God.     Many Christians today are looking for and teaching any partial doctrine to justify themselves so they will not be required to do any works of faith, nor OBEY God. They are looking for any excuse to stay stagnated in their unfruitful and lukewarm lives as a so called "Christian". They have picked and chosen a few verses and teachings taken out of the context of the whole bible and plan of salvation in hopes to ease their troubled minds from doing any works or keeping the laws of God. They refuse to acknowledge the whole of Gods' word and the many other verses that teach us to seek and obey God, and to live a life of righteousness (right doing).
    Paul also wrote: "Now may the God of Peace, He leading up out of the dead, the great Shepherd of the sheep, in the blood of the everlasting covenant, our Lord Jesus, perfect you in every good work, to DO HIS WILL, doing in you which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever, Amen." ~ Hebrews 13:20-21.
    Colossians 3:5-8 ~ "Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth; fornication, uncleaness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry, because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them. But now you yourselves are to put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,.."
    What happen to the preachers decades ago that taught their congregations to OBEY God and KEEP His commandments?
    "Fear God and keep His commandments for the hour of His judgment HAS come, and worship Him who made the heavens and the earth, the sea and springs of water." ~ Apoc 14.7
    "Here is the patience of the saints, here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus." ~ Apoc. 14.12
    "Blessed are those who DO His commandments, that they may have the right to the Tree of Life, and may enter through the gates into the city." ~ Apoc. 22.14.

    I say, “No, we are not earning heaven. We are learning heaven. We are preparing for it (see D&C 78:7). We are practicing for it.”
    They ask me, “Have you been saved by grace?”
    I answer, “Yes. Absolutely, totally, completely, thankfully-yes!”
    Then I ask them a question that perhaps they have not fully considered: “Have you been changed by grace?”
    We are saved by Christ's grace, but only after being judged by our works - Titus 3:5, Titus 1:16, Rev. 22:12-14
    Christ will purify unto himself his elect people ("a peculiar people who are zealous of good works") - Titus 2:14
    Ephesians 2:8-10
    8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
    9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
    10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them

    if you believe you have to follow the laws, obey, serve, be baptize and so on to be and to stay saved, friend you are trusting in your works and will not see heaven for you are not saved, we can only be saved by grace without works!
    after we get saved we have a second decision to make, and that is to serve and live for Christ which will bring forth rewards here and in heaven, for we will come in front of God to be judged in the judgement seat of Christ where our works will be tested by fire.
    the unbelievers will be judged in the white throne judgement where they will receive punishment according to their works and be thrown into the lake of fire "hell"
    we need to learn how to separate salvation and discipleship
    if you choose not to serve and live for Christ you will lose those rewards you could have had but Romans 4:5 says you will still be saved.
    if you backslide into your old ways God says He will discipline His sons and daughters and sometimes take you home early, example of that we can see in the church of corinth.

      First Name the baptism of water after you trust Christ is a one time thing, and its done to demonstrate your faith in that you have been washed by the blood of Christ, water doesn't take away sin, is symbolic friend. there are many kinds of baptisms taught in the bible, also the baptism of fire which all unbelievers will take part in, the baptism of the holy ghost is one that all believers receive the moment they trust in Christ as Saviour. hope this explanation helped clear things up a bid, God bless

    I use to mix works with salvation and it only lead my life to more sin and separated me from my Lord. Cuse the more I looked to the law the more I saw my insufficiency. I ask myself now how can people not see it for themselves? How short they fall. Simple. Pride and fear. The killers of faith. It's easy legalism. People of all races and nations lower the standard of the law so they fit in. But if we look to Gods perfect law we have fallen short and this is what Paul talks about in Romans first couple of chapters.
    Rom 3
    Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God's sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.
    We become conscious of sin by the law it gives us no life whatsoever ot only condemns us and that is what is was meant to do so it is good and holy.

    12So then, the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.

    It is by believing in Gods grace than you can grow in Gods grace and the richness of his mercy and you have a loving non judgemental heart just like Jesus who freely and graciously gave us His love on the cross pored out pure and abundantly. That's why Jesus said I have come so that they may have life and life abundant. It seems to us good to add works of many kinds to the simplicity of the Gospel. But Paul's charge is clear against that.

    This is the question is he doesnt deny you his very Spirit that is in himself and he does this only through your faith in trust in christ and not the law, how can he deny you heavan wich is NOT greater than he himself(the Spirit)?
    I dont say by faith alone because that's wrong. I say by grace through faith in what Jesus did on calvary ALONE are we saved. Now people think this means lawlesness but their damnation is Just.

    And some people even slander us by claiming that we say, “The more we sin, the better it is!” Those who say such things deserve to be condemned.
    Yikes it becomes clear that it is acarnel mind that thinks that God's grace alone means sin. Just like in Paul's time it is now but rejecting Gods grace is carnal and will only make you hide yur true sins yur bitterness ur pride your gluttony your lack of faith your irrational fear your lusts you unforgiveness you're looking down at others who are not in your social class. just like Paul it will make you a murderer in your heart and God forbid in Paul's case an actual murderer. Thats not to say the law is evil or makes you do this but sin takes it's power by it.
    1 Corinthians 15:56, “The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.”

    The power of what Jesus did for us and the liberty we have in him is what gives us power over sin that is that he who bbelieves shal not come into condemnation but has passed from death on to life.

    Grace for salvation without works was not available until given to Paul. It was "hid in God" per Ephesians 3:8-9. Therefore all scriptures before Acts 9 could not save a gentile or Jew without works.
    Ephesians 3:8-9, "Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ"
    Paul is the example and first to receive it., 1 Timothy 1:16, "Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting."

      If there's a Calvary Chapel in your area, you can try them. They teach verse by verse through the Bible. Their leader used to be Chuck Smith, since he died I'm not sure who is the leader now.

      7. Don’t commit adultery
      8. Don’t steal

      10. Don’t covet something that already belongs to someone else
      If we love God with all our heart, mind, body, and spirit and love each other as we love ourselves we will follow all the above commandments and they will be written on our hearts (meaning we will love Gods commandments so much that we will know them by heart). God and his commandments are inseparable for he is righteous and perfect and so are his laws. By our obedience to his laws we are proven to be his children.
      And how then do we know for certain we are children of God?
      John 14:21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”
      What about those people who claim grace alone is sufficient to save us? They use Paul’s words to contradict all that Jesus taught. Peter forewarns us of exactly that.
      2 Peer 3:16 speaking of this as Paul does in all his letters. *There are some things in them hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction,* as they do the other scriptures. 17 You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, *beware lest you be carried away with the error of lawless men and lose your own stability.*

    I liked the first part of your message because I do believe in God's good grace but please don't teach people not to get baptized. The Bible says this: "When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”
    Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off-for all whom the Lord our God will call.”
    Getting baptized is how you get the Holy Spirit and promise of God. You choose God and trust Him and getting baptized IS a work of God (grace of God) (not of man, otherwise men could baptize themselves. We say it in Jesus's name because it's a work of God). If you believe onto Christ you will get baptized in his name and desire His blood (forgiveness). Right? You can't do it without that. Jesus Christ is the way. Please I beg you. God Bless.

    If you’re saved by grace alone, you better hope you die immediately after salvation because beyond that you need to continue to obey God’s commandments.
    Of course we are saved from past sins through faith. That doesn’t mean you can’t earn damnation again through sin.
    We must have the Holy Spirit, be a child of God, AND be in Christ to enter Heaven - ALL of which require continued obedience to God’s commandments.

    You are saved by FAITH alone. TRUE. Works alone cannot save you. Also TRUE. What Jesus did on the cross is sufficient. However, if it is by FAITH alone that we are saved, then the question is: How do we know we truly have faith in the first place? I believe that James 2:26 answers this question: "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." Not that works alone can save you, but it is by your works that your faith is either confirmed (proven) or denied. As James says in 2:14-16 (KJV), "What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?" If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?" Like the old saying goes, actions speak louder than words. Your actions belie what is truly in your heart.

      Are you saying God cannot save you today unless you show your faith and work at the same time today ? Jesus saved the thief on the cross because He knew the thief had true faith . In other words the All-knowing Savior is the one to know whether or not you have true faith . Jesus can know/read your true faith inside your hearth , even while you do no good works , do you agree ?

      +BLUEBIRD The timing of faith and works is not part of the process of salvation. Neither is "reading" a person's heart part of the process of salvation according to scripture. Remember, it was only AFTER the thief did two things that Jesus made the promise to save him: (1) the thief verbally admitted that he was a sinner (he confessed his sins) and, (2) the thief verbally confessed with his mouth the Lordship of Jesus. Romans 10:9 (KJV) says: "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Because Jesus did not promise the thief salvation until AFTER the thief spoke with his mouth what was in his heart, supports this scripture. This begs the question: If Jesus relied on what was in the thief's heart, then why did Jesus promise him salvation only AFTER he spoke up and not before?

      +BLUEBIRD God knew Abraham's heart. Yet, Abraham's faith was still tested by God (Gen 22:9 - KJV) when Abraham was commanded to sacrifice his son Isaac. Why the test if God already knew what the outcome would be? In addition, after Abraham proved his obedience to God by lifting the knife to sacrifice his precious son, why did God then say (Gen 2:16 KJV): "...now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son, from me... Notice the key words here: "NOW" I know. If God ALREADY knew what Abraham would do, why would He say, "NOW" I know? If you can answer these questions, please do. But support your answers with scripture. As the bible says, we do not know that mind of God. His ways are not our ways. So when you talk about what God would or wouldn't do, you MUST rely on scripture and not your own personal ideas.

    There are various opinions concerning the virtue and requirements of salvation. Misinterpretation of Paul's words has lead to much confusion and rejection of the full gospel plan. Failure to comprehend the two-fold purpose of the atonement has caused many to believe that all that is essential for salvation is to confess the name of Jesus Christ. Works, say others, avail us nothing, for faith alone is sufficient. For their "witness" the words of Paul to the Ephesians and the Romans are quoted:
    Eph2:8-9
    8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
    9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
    Rom10:9
    9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
    We indeed agree, we are redeemed by grace. Through the atonement of Jesus Christ all mankind may be saved. The resurrection shall come to all, regardless of the life they may have lived. This is free grace without works; however each individual will stand before the judgment-seat of God to be Judged according to his own works.
    Those who teach the doctrine of "faith alone " are searching for an "easy road to Heaven ." "Belief only" is a "lazy man's religion," for worthwhile things demand effort. Someone has referred to them as Bible Christians--- their religion is in the bible and not very much in themselves. Sir Wilford Greenfell said the gospel is a "religion of action, not fiction."
    The words of Paul to the Ephesians are not quoted in enough detail by adherents of the doctrine of faith without works.
    The 10th verse reads
    10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
    Paul was speaking to a class of people who believed that man could not be saved unless he subscribed to the law of Moses. Such individuals were expected to save themselves, not comprehending the saving power of the atonement of Jesus Christ.
    Paul does not preach salvation without human effort. "We are created in Christ Jesus unto good works." Genuine faith in the Savior leads to love-inspired works of good works. This faith is " not of ourselves, " but is a "gift of God."
    It has come to us through "grace".
    Pauls epistle to the Romans was written to members of the church who had already accepted the ordinances and principles of the gospel. He admonished them to continue in their belief, "confessing with thy mouth the Lord Jesus." One need only read all of Paul's epistles to realize that he taught a complete gospel of faith and works. He reminded the Romans in Rom2:5-6
    of the righteous judgment of God;
    6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
    He admonished Titus to preach "sound doctrine,....in all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works." Titus2:1-8
    Those who claim that Paul taught the doctrine of "faith alone " are contending against the doctrine of Jesus Christ and the apostle James. The Lord has said that we should live " by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. " Matt4:4
    He taught faith, repentance, baptism, and the necessity of the gifts of the spirit."
    He said in John14:21
    21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
    Paul's doctrine does not contradict the doctrine of James. Harmony exists in the teachings of the apostles yet those who misinterpret Paul's words to teach their view of " saved by grace and not by works" are careful to avoid the more abundant evidences of scripture.

    22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
    23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

    This discussion difference is a matter of semantics or tongue gymnastics. If works aren't important then why do we have commandments or a final judgement? Why did Jesus teach to live a certain way if works aren't important?

      How exactly did you get "works aren't important"? If somone os teaching that than thats false doctrine. Works are insanely important so much so that God has prepared them for us before hand. But that has nothing to do with being redeemed and saved by Gods grace. It is the justice of one Jesus not yours just like it was the sin of one adam that brought death. So Jesus has brought life and life eternal. If works didn't save you how do they keep you saved?

    Isn't Revelation 3:12 should as the following if Jesus is God:

    Notice Jesus for 4 times calls another being "MY GOD" (HIS GOD)

    1) You believe Jesus was 100% human on earth and when he dead on the cross he completed his mission on earth to be cursed and die for your sin.
    2) After his death he was lifted to heavens to go back as 100% God as you believe.
    3) As you know God CANNOT HAVE GOD
    4) Jesus after his death KEPT calling another being as "MY GOD"
    5) Since God CANNOT HAVE GOD and Jesus KEPT calling God as MY GOD then Jesus is not God
    Also if we read Revelation 1:1 where Jesus still need God to tell him what to speak same as he was told what to speak on earth ANOTHER evidence that Jesus is not God

When Jehovah became a man he had to depend on the father because the bible says he came not to do his own will but to do the will of the father that sent him. He retained Godhood when the father resurrected him.

      Predicate: “I am” in Ancient Greek: ego eimi
      Christian are not using “I am” as a verb, they using it as proper noun.
      Let us try to substitute “I am” with Jesus, we read it as following
      "Before Abraham was born, Jesus!" Does not make any since? Jesus what?
      Let us try to substitute “I am” with God, we read it as following
      "Before Abraham was born, God!" Does not make any since? God what?
      This is not a complete sentence and it is grammatically wrong. Jesus was a good speaker and will never make this simple mistake. There is a problem in the translation itself. For example read what Adam said to the sons of Heth:
      Genesis 23:4 "I am a foreigner and stranger among you…".
      This is a compete sentence.
      What is missing from “I am ….” Was Jesus interrupted and did not continue the sentence? Did Jesus want to say “I am he” or “I am the one who is being referred to“? In Greek language it is a common expression to say “I am he”. “I am” statement is a totally different construct from the one which God gave to Moses when God said “I AM WHO I AM” which means God is the self-existing one.
      Again, By reading the verses from 8:25 until 8:58, in no way Jesus say I am God, because if he to tell people he is God, THEN he was lying in what he said in verses before 8:58.

      The problem here is that you're quoting scripture from newer versions of the bible.I came out of the kjv but you're trying to use other versions of the bible to prove your point.Trying to be slick I see..The newer versions of the bible are tampered with rearranging words that bring different meanings.They have added and taken away from the book which the bible says that if any man take and add from the book they shall be damned to the lake of fire.

    Faith alone is not enough. It is *_through_* faith that we realize we must make a decision: to obey God and seek to do His will, or else to remain separate from God and continue on our own path. It is faith that makes the choice real to us, then we must choose. The verses below feature obedience, not "faith alone":
    "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" (1 Peter 4:17)
    "In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ." (2 Thessalonians 1:8)
    Abraham's example illustrates the difference between "faith alone" and faith followed by obedience. Abraham was promised blessings if he would leave home and journey to the promised land. Without any faith, he would have shrugged off the promises as unreal and that would have been the end of the story.
    But even with faith Abraham could have said to himself, "Well, even though I trust God's promises I'd really rather stay home, in my comfort zone, so I'm not leaving." Would he have received the promised blessings? Of course not.
    Abraham *_obeyed._* He acted on his faith. He left home, journeyed to the promised land and received the blessings:
    "By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went" (Hebrews 11:8).
    *_By_* or *_through_* faith he realized he had a real choice to make, and he *_chose to obey._* The Lord explained to Abraham's son Isaac that Abraham received the promised blessings because of his *_obedience:_*
    "Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws" (Genesis 26:5).
    The apostle James wrote "Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and *_not by faith only"_* (James 2:24). Abraham's obedience was his "works." He *_believed_* in the true, complete sense of the word _believe:_ he committed himself, he *_acted_* on his faith. In the source New Testament Greek texts, "faith" and "believe" are different words; "faith" (pistis) is a noun, "believe" (pisteuō) is a verb.
    "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also" (James 2:26). Faith without commitment, without action, is useless. Nothing changes. If Abraham had stayed home, his faith would have been dead, useless. Abraham acted on his faith; his works, his obedience brought life and completion to his faith, making him a believer. James wrote:
    "Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God." (James 2:22,23)
    So what does God want us to do today? How do we believe, how do we "act" on our faith? God "now commands all men every where to repent" (Acts 17:30). This is how we can receive mercy:
    "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." (Proverbs 28:13)
    With the ransom Jesus made available on the cross, we can be redeemed from the death penalty (Romans 6:23) we have earned for our past sins. That redemption is mercy and is available by grace IF we'll choose to turn from sin, turn from sin that earned us the death penalty to begin with.
    If we choose not to turn from sin, we'll remain unredeemed from the death penalty earned for our past sins and will surely perish in death for those sins. That's why Jesus warned, "except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish" (Luke 13:3,5).
    At first glance "except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish" appears to contradict John 3:16 which says we have to believe in Him: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
    If "believeth" means no more than "have faith," or think something is true, then there certainly *_is_* a contradiction with "except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." But "believeth" goes beyond just "have faith." It is *_through_* faith that we realize we have a real choice to make: whether or not to believe, to commit ourselves and act and obey. We must truly "believe," we must act on our faith, obey and repent to avoid perishing.

    The scripture that states "We Are Saved By Grace Through Faith" has been taken out of context and it is now a huge satanic deception thereby preventing you from being saved according to scripture.
    You need to know this before you can understand the scripture.
    1. You need to know who is talking. - Paul is talking.
    2. You need to know whom Paul is speaking. - He is talking to the church in Ephesians
    Based on the above information why do you think that scripture applies to YOU?
    3. Paul is talking to a specific group of people that are at one of the churches that Paul established.
    4. You need to fully understand what Paul said about salvation.
    5. Paul and all the members of the church (the body of Christ) are all baptized into Jesus Christ and filled with the Holy Ghost.
    6. If you have been baptized into Jesus Christ and have received the Holy Ghost then you and ONLY you can apply that scripture which further explains your salvation.
    Lets break it down.
    Paul is saying to the people at the church in Ephesians - You and I are saved by the grace (love and kindness) of God. Because you all agreed to be baptized into Jesus Christ showing your faith and trust in Him.
    Just look at the first verse in chapter two - Paul clearly identifies the people whom he is speaking.
    Ephesians 2 (KJV)
    2 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
    - To be quickened means to be made alive (converted) from death to life by the Holy Ghost. Even Jesus was quickened just before His resurrection. HAVE YOU BEEN QUICKENED? Jesus said the Holy ghost is the good seed of life - he also said if you have this seed then you are the children of the kingdom. NOTE: Jesus said these three words in regards to salvation and they all have a process to follow. Born again - Regenerated - Converted. DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS?
    What did Peter tell 5000 people what they must do to be right with God to enter God's kindom?
    Acts 2:38 Peter told them to be baptized into Jesus Christ for remmision of sins and receive the Holy Ghost.(Born again - Regenerated - Converted). In verse 41 it says 3000 people were added to the church the body of Christ and kingdom bound.
    Paul teaches the same message as the desciples and he established all the churches this way.
    Do you want to be saved by God's grace? You may if your faith and trust in Him leads you to the waters of salvation.
    NOTE: Of the five thousand people Peter preached to that day only three thousand got baptized and were saved. Read it.
    Pastor Richard Jordan and many others have taken that chapter out of context and in doing so have lead millions into believing they are saved when they are not yet saved. This is what Satan has achieved through the twisting of scriptures.

    I see many of you in today's world being deceived with the Bibles in your hands. (exactly like I was...)
    If you go along with this false philosophy of "saved by faith trough grace" while ignoring the commandments you are doing a very big mistake. The faith will help you because based on it Jesus will forgive you when you fail 7x70times/day like He taught Peter... (that's the grace by faith that you and many of you misunderstood)

    We are saved by grace through "the faith": that is, God's faith system. You eliminate repentance and baptism and you fail to be forgiven. Read Acts 2:38.

      Jesus said, "he who believes and is baptized will be saved" in Mark 16:16. When one is baptized with a correct understanding (that salvation comes at the point of baptism into Christ's death; Cf, Romans 6:3, 4), then, and only then are they God's child. Christ's blood washes away our sins when we are baptized. (Acts 22:16) Baptism is not all there is to it, but these texts are undeniable that in demonstrating as to when one is saved from their past sins.

      Why do people reject the essentiality of baptism in man's salvation from sin? The problem is NOT baptism. Not really. It is because they deny the authority and Lordship of Jesus. Read Matt. 28:18, where Jesus said in His parting words: "All authority is given to Me in heaven and on earth." Then He said to His apostles, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." (v. 19). Now, by who's authority were the apostles to go, make disciples, and baptize? The Lord Jesus Christ's. Which of these commands could they refuse to obey and still be subject to His authority? None. Now, what did Jesus say to them according to Mark's account in Mk. 16:15-16? "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
      16 "He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned." NASB
      Now, the authority of Christ is here as well. The commands are also here. But Mark says something Matthew did not say. Jesus connects belief and baptism to salvation with the coordinating conjunction, "and". But people say, "Well, Jesus did not say, 'he that is baptized not shall be damned.'" Well, yes He did. How? When He connected both belief and baptism to salvation. And since He did so, it is logical to conclude that any person who denies the essentiality of baptism in the Lord's plan of salvation is an unbeliever! Why? They do so by undermining the Lord's words, and, therefore, His authority. How? Because they do not believe what Jesus said, and will be damned because of it! How do I know? Jesus said so.

    Repentance (metanoia in greek) means to have a change of mind. According to Romans 2, gentiles were never given the law or gentiles were never guilty of seeking our own righteousnes Romans 10. The law was given to Isreal and isreal said it would be THEIR rightousness if the obeyed the law Deuteronomy 6. What were we (as gentiles) to repent of according to the scriptures?? Being dead in our sins and the uncircumcision of our (gentiles) flesh seperated us from God. Ephisians 2 says we were without hope, having no God in Ephisians 2. If gentiles were without God period, what do we repent (have a change of mind) about according to the scriptures???

    Ephesians 2:8,9 is not the plan of salvation. The Ephesians were not saved here. They were saved in Acts 19:1-6.

    No one is saved until God comes! Grace is the facilitator to salvation! Faith is just belief. So grace the free gift gives us the opportunity at eternal life however we have to believe (faith) that God will do whatever He says He will do!
    Once we believe then we have to do what God tells us to do.. like keeping his commandments, dietary laws and his feast days(works)
    If not all we are doing is giving God lip service... We are saying...Thank you for the opportunity at eternal life (grace), yes God we believe you. (faith) but God what you are asking us to do is impossible so we cant do it( no works). The guestion then becomes if you believe why didnt you act?
    Pauls writing presents works and faith together.
    Should we make void the law so that grace may abound....God forbid!
    It has always been about Faith and works from the beginning. Example:
    The children of Israel were told to put blood on their door post so the angel of death would spare their houses in Egypt.
    They had faith...they believed God. They also had works...they put the blood on the door. Their faith and works saved them. Had they not done so their firstborn would also have been kilked. The angel of death was not looking for Israelites..he was looking for the blood on the doors.
    Any pastor, teacher or friend who teachers you that you can just believe and not do what God tells you to do is a liar and will lead you to the lake of fire.
    Only with God we choose to believe this fairy tale that we can say we believe and do nothing.
    People like to believe that somehow is so benevolent that he will accept anything from us..So not true!
    In everything God says there is always an IF.
    God is a God of contracts.
    Here is the cobtract we have been given to obtain eternal life........
    So IF you believe that I am Christ, the only begotten son of God, the lamb slain from the foundation of the world for your sins and accept the free gift of grace that I have given you...repent and be baptized in my name, obey and keep my commandments, my feast days and my dietary laws then I will give you eternal life when I come.

    The new testament conflicts the covenant with Christ and our Heavenly Father sent prophets and there purposes like Moses was in direct contact with Our Heavenly Father and delivered him out of Eygpt and wrote the commandments with his own hands and Jesus Christ came to fullfill the laws of Moses with his covenant of obedience and reconciliation with repentance to receive his covenant.
    I'm just saying that what was prescribed before the new testament.

    Grace alone is not in the Bible go to ephesians 2:8,9 then read 10. Line 8, 9 tells you your own ideas as work wont get you there but line 10 tells you that you are to walk in the works of Yeshua. So Grace + the works of Christ Jesus.

    Yes, we are not saved by works of righteousness, but that refers to the law of Moses. We are not bound to that old covenant anymore, but there are definite requirements for new testament believers beyond just receiving Jesus as your Lord and Savior. You can't read the new testament and not come away with the knowledge that God requires far more than this message title implies.

      When Paul writes, "faith", he means faith in Jesus as the Redeemer (cf.. Rom. 3: 24-25; Gal. 3:13). Before the time of Christ, all Jews believed that full salvation is possible only through the law of the old covenant and affiliation to Israel. Suddenly comes Redeemer and preaches a doctrine that salvation is possible only through Him. Through faith in His redemption, resulting in renewed by His Spirit that helps to be obey the New Covenant, while the old covenant God has made obsolete (Hebrews 8:13). The Jews therefore have a choice: justification is in the Old Testament (the old law), or by faith in Jesus, the New Covenant? If the old, then redemptive role of Christ is excluded (cf. Gal. 5: 2,4). With this only rebuttal Paul. He teaches that justification is by faith in the redemption (acting through love: Gal. 5: 6; 1 Tim. 5: 8; 6: 18-19), and not by works (the previous, already inactive Covenant in which some preferred to seek salvation instead of the Redeemer and the New Covenant - it was an expression of disbelief). So Paul did not fight with good works of the New Covenant, because these don't compete with faith. Paul does not condemn one who seeks immortality in good works (Rom. 2: 6-10) fulfilled in the faith and in the fear of losing salvation (Philippians 2:12). Not only does not condemn, but teaches that if believer refrain from good works, is denying the faith and God (1 Tim. 5: 8; Tit. 1:16). Paul says that by good works believers lay hold on eternal life": "Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life" (1 Tim. 6:18 -19, KJV). Because even though Christians were conditionally saved, they have to retain salvation in order to be saved in the sense of immortality in the Kingdom of God: "Watch yourself and science continue in this, because it's doing, and himself for salvation, and those who hear you" (1 Tim. 4:16).
      Works of the New Covenant are linked to the sacrifice of Jesus, because Jesus died to create for himself a people zealous for good works (Eph. 2:10; Tit. 2:14). This is the meaning and purpose of Jesus' sacrifice. Not after it made a sacrifice to have any people, but in order to have people eagerly progressing in love. Others remain in the death (1 J. 3: 14,17-18). If we are zealous for good works, it means that sacrifice of Jesus was not in vain in relation to us. In this way the works of faith and love are linked to the sacrifice of Jesus and are a condition of using this sacrifice. And whether the same can be said about works of the old covenant (commandments that Jesus did not include the new covenant, like circumcision)? Do we read somewhere that Jesus made a sacrifice to make for himself a people zealous in circumcision, in handling Sabbaths and Jewish holidays, in observance of kosher foods? Do we read somewhere that meeting these works is the commandment of the New Covenant, and that it is a condition of your use of the sacrifice of Jesus? No. Therefore works of the old convenant are not linked to the sacrifice of Jesus, and look at them salvation is an expression of contempt for the sacrifice of Jesus, an expression of disbelief in the foundation of the New Covenant. It is this search of salvation apart from Jesus' sacrifice, by works not related to the sacrifice, not aided by the Spirit Paraclete - the only works. It is not surprising that Paul fiercely opposed the search for salvation in such works. But he never fought against the necessity to conduct in love, in good works, when one is a believer in the Redeemer.
      We are not saved by works, but by the sacrifice of Jesus, because through the sacrifice of Jesus have been reborn (irrespective of their earlier works), and by the sacrifice we are forgiven mistakes that we still do happen. The thing is that the sacrifice does not include those who, after believing, of their own volition live in sin (Heb. 10:26), and sin is too failure works of love (James 4:17). So after the rebirth works of faith and of love are God's condition for continued use of the sacrifice of Jesus. The sacrifice still includes believer if he does this. If not, if he refrains from works of faith and of love, he must first be converted to good conduct. "But shewed (...) that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance" - said Paul (Acts. 26:20). So sacrifice of Jesus does not include believers who by works deny faith and God (1 Tim. 5: 8; Tit. 1:16), it means that by the evil deeds and omissions believers can lose salvation. Because salvation is through this sacrifice - conditioned by efforts at works of faith and of love. So although it is true that salvation is not obtained by works, but by faith, it is equally true that by the works and omissions believers can deny faith and thereby lose salvation. These two things are compatible. Meanwhile, some people take the first truth to overthrow the other. About such people the apostle Peter wrote, "in which [Paul's letters] are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness" (2Pt 3:16-17).

      Paul says clearly that by evil works believer deny faith and deny God:
      "But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel." (1Tm 5:8)
      "They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate." (Tit. 1:16)
      So someone can have true faith, and then lose it because he chooses sin. God has given us Freedom of Choice. We are not a robots.
      Will be saved from hell believer who later deny his faith i deny God? How, if salvation is by faith and he in evil works deny the faith?

    We are saved by grace through faith. Faith is the means to enter into the grace of God. Romans.5:2 Sin can separate you from God if not repented of. Romans 6:16 Hebrews 3:12..salvation is the gift of God . Eph.2 :8,9,10 and we are his handy work. We are to continue to walk in the grace of God and not to be moved away from the hope of the gospel. Col.1:21-23. Faith can be made shipwrecked 1 Tim.1:19 and we are warned of those in the last days will depart from the faith. 1 Tim.4:1 The gift of salvation can be lost as in the case of Hymenaeus and Alexander 1 Tim.1:20 The prodical son who left his fathers house was lost and when he returned the father said this my son was dead and is alive AGAIN. LUKE. 16:24 You don't mention repentance as though it is not necessary for real faith? There is no real faith without repentance. And that repentance is not a one time never-again-needed. By the way there is no one called pastor in the New Testament. Not one verse that anyone is called Pastor! Eph.4:11 are gifts and shepherd is a verb not a noun. There are only plural elders of the church singular. Acts14:23..Paul called for the Elders of the church of Ephesus..Acts20:17 Stop being addressed as pastor.

      The danger that you just don't wish to acknowledge is you salvation is by grace through faith. One must continue in the faith grounded and settles and not be moved away from the hope of the gospel. Colossians 2:23. You seem to present a gospel that a disciple can never fall way? Hebrews 3:12-14 CLEARLY the bible teaches you can harden your heart through sin and FALL FROM GRACE. Galatians 5:1-4 Any one who teaches salvation CAN NOT be lost is a FALSE TEACHER.

      As far as heaven is concerned. Jesus did not come to bring us to heaven. No where do you find those words in the bible. I challenge you to give a verse that says Jesus came to bring to heaven. The bible teaches that Christ came into the world save us from sin and reconcile us to God. The RESULT is we will be IN HIS KINGDOM now here on the earth and that in the FUTURE when he returns we will rule and reign with him here on the earth. The new Jerusalem in heaven will be part of the kingdom message where he said I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:2,3

    Google "Salvation by faith alone and Eternal Security refuted by Scripture. The Bible Is CLEAR that Sola Fide is wrong. I've read it all & know. Those teaching Sola Fide quote it out of context. I've read their arguments. Richard Jordan never read The Parable of the sower, for example.
