Thank you for the constructive criticism! Hinihintay ko ganito kasi kahit sobrang nagandahan ako, after watching a few times, I also noticed some flaws. But since I'm not a singer, I am just waiting for actual singers to point them out hehe.. Pero yan din ganda ng live! Raw vocals talaga and some imperfections here and there. Also, this is their first perf so they will keep improving. Feeling ko better din sound pag Wish or Myx. I dunno kung sa mixing ba yun, pagbalance ng sound, o mas napractice nila perfs dun. But anyway, I definitely want more live perfs of MAPA!

SB19 may not be the best singers and the best dancers pero may nakikita kasi ang mga fans sa kanila na wala sa mga mas magagaling na singers na sangkatutak ang kulot ng boses pero walang puso. Malinis lang silang kumanta, walang arte, walang pretentions. Wala rin silang pakialam kung ano hitsura ng muka nila habang kumakanta kasi damang-dama nila yung kanta kaya dama rin ng audience. Ugali? Sa stage may angas pero hindi angas na maaaar at mayayabangan ka. Pero lahat sila may special na charisma eh. Di ba sa kanta na WHAT, "Alam ko na di ako pinaka-ano magaling .."

I agree, there are flaws but on these kind of performance, I would rather see emotions than perfection. Also, since it's a new song and their first live performance so I understand that there will something to improve on.

There are some who say that Pablo was insensitive to give Josh those lines. Well, I felt the same first time I listened to Mapa. Pero we can also think of it this way, he became stronger because he wasn't as privileged as other people with both of their parents supporting them. He had to, there was no other way but to be strong and fight on.

In the ment before they sang MaPa, Pablo explained the reason for giving Josh that verse. He said that while he was writing the song, he really intended for Josh to sing the verse bc he believes that Josh's experience of growing up without a father is what made him tough and mature now.
It may look insensitive to others but I think it's really Pablo's way of helping Josh come to terms with this part of his life, that is, growing up fatherless. We see Josh as this mature, level headed and tough person, but he also has a sensitive, vulnerable side to him. If you notice in their chat before this performance when they were talking about how and why Pablo gave such and such lines to members, Josh said something like he'll meet or get to know his father someday. I see that not as someone dismissing or avoiding a sensitive topic but as someone who is open and has hope that he'll get to meet his father. Perhaps, this is why he was able to pour his emotions on those lines. They're the ones he wishes to say to his father when they see each other. And even if they don't, maybe it will be a silent message he wants to convey, that he's doing alright, that he'll be alright.
