"Lutterbek" Brian Chartrand Trio

The Lutterbeker is a lot of things; music venue, restaurant, art gallery, air bnb, local bar. Its located about a mile away from the shores of the Baltic Sea, about 25 minutes northeast of Kiel, Germany a region known for its crisp hoppy pilsners and rich naval history. Like any beach town, its a Summer destination, however when our protagonists arrived on an overcast afternoon in April 2016, it's Summer charm was veiled in a low lying mist. From the balcony of her private residence perched above the club, Strupp, the matriarch of this fine establishment, waved us in and greeted us warmly. We ended up spending the whole weekend there, holed up in the artist apartments above the restaurant discovering the various nooks, chatting with the ghosts and living characters who inhabit this building. We were overcome by its charm. Lutterbek attempts to capture and preserve that weekend.

Great Song & Video from one of my favorite singer-songwriter Brian Chartrand with his bandmates Peter Day and Jeff Vallone. I loved this song. I already loved that song in the first version that you've played one year ago in Trittau 2016. Now it is just perfect! Thank you guys, that you have dedicated a song to a small town in our home area Schleswig-Holstein in Germany. I wish you much success!
