So sorry to hear you’ve not been too well ❤️ Long haul flight anxiety is real and follows me for days after landing and for days before flying back. Which is why if I do find courage to do 8+ hour flights which isn’t often, then I go for 2-3 weeks min. Sending so much love ❤
You didn’t have to take us with you but you did, I’m grateful for that. I suffer with anxiety too, you are very real. You always look amazing even when poorly. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us xx

Just wanted to comment again and say thanks for keeping things real. Travelling can be so hard for people who struggle with anxiety / depression. Some people just don’t get it. But rather than pretending everything was perfect you showed us the real side of things. And I could totally relate, I had an awful mental breakdown after a series of long flights & travel. It triggered so much anxiety & panic. If you haven’t experienced it you don’t get it. I travel way less these days & less further afield & am much happier for it. I think you just learn what works for you & what doesn’t. I’ll always opt for a 2hr flight to Ibiza than a 12 hour flight. Take care of yourself now you’re home anyway x

Omg can totally relate - my trip to Fiji was a complete nightmare as my Chanel shoes were totally wrecked by the sand 😩 so annoying.

I am Indonesian so Bali has been a backyard trip for me.. it def took me 2 trips before I fell in love with it. Bali is one of those polarizing place as one can hv very different experience depending where you go

What size did you get Monday swim suits and the dress?
Not me but a mate on their honeymoon - both came down with bad diarrhoea due to some dodgy seafood. Days 1-3, pooping for their lives. Then better but then an accidental fall caused a severe sprain. Days 4-6 can't walk to go to the beach, sightsee etc. Day 7 - on train to next destination and boom, a crash. Not hurt but very shaken. Worst honeymoon ever! (Still going strong though after 17 years!)

Also travelling with anxiety could be an interesting topic for a video or podcast.. This is why I don´t travel outside of Europe. A flight longer than 4 hours - it´s a no from me.
Im going to Bali in Oct, but with a 23kg case as was included in the price. Wasn’t an option thank god 😂

Like you I’ve tried to travel light. Not great for me. I end up feeling horrible as my outfits are limited and I hate all the faffing with the liquids. So stressful.

Well we all have a trip kinda not go smoothly it happens. But I do have to say that capala swimsuit was absolutely stunning 🔥on you and definitely look into getting more. I think you did very good job pulling off packing small and in short time frame well done.👍

When I went to Bali I got bitten on the eyelid by a mosquito, it looked like I had been in a boxing match. White would probably be my last colour choice for Bali 😅🫣
As an Aussie, every flight is 24 hours, except Bali, which is why it’s over run with bogan aussies on stag trips🤮Avoid Bali, go to Lombok, even Ubud. 😊

I’m an Aussie & there are 2 kinds of us, those that love Bali & those who you couldn’t pay to go there & I’m the latter😂 So sorry you had a terrible trip Susie, I’ve heard too many stories like yours & way worse to even think of ever setting foot there!!! 😵💫

Watermelon juice is the wrong choice in bali. Also NO ice 😱
They said the ice was using filtered water 😭 everyone else was having fruit and said I would be fine!!

The local people also can’t drink the water, so ice cubes are 99% of the time made of clean water. If you go into very remote areas I wouldn’t take the ice. But for the rest us should be fine. Fruits are also fine, as long as they aren’t washed with tap water. That’s why salades are more of a problem, they can be washed using tap water instead of clean water. Hotels are using clean water but with little restaurants you’re never sure. Also the food and spices they use there , no matter how clean the restaurant is, will give us European pretty much always some trouble. There is a reason they call it a Bali belly 🫣.
@@dutches8384 the watermelon juice with ice is what sent me down for 4 days the next time i avoided watermelon and was fine. Hence the comment.
I don’t think that Bali is the destination for aestheticly pleasing restaurants and designer outfits, to be honest. No offence

Oh dear, you eat too much ice-cream there, which most of the time cause stomach problems. 🙈😔. Even the Watermelons juice .. all these stuff ate not allowed to ear outside of the hotel in Asia. Unfortunately lot of people get sick because of it. Hope you are doing better now ❤️🙏🏻
