Some of you may be wondering if the Foundational Arranging Toolbox can actually work for someone like you - that's fair!
So today I'm sharing an arrangement that a student of mine put together after learning the same concepts that I take students through in my upcoming course.
Big thank you to Rowena for letting me share it, and I hope you find it inspiring! :)

The course will be launching soon, and registration opens on August 23, 2021.
But everyone on the earlybird waitlist will have a chance to grab a spot before everyone else on August 22nd. There's still time to sign up if you haven't yet!

I wasn't expecting to hear that much complexity from a musician who has been playing less than six months. This is kind of a breakthrough no? There's triplet patterns, fluid phrases and sense of rhythm is REALLY good and conisistent. Very well done!

I know, I’m still so impressed haha! It’s clear she does a lot of practicing!

Do you have any tips for arranging without sheet music as a guide? I want to arrange for some niche songs I like, that I cant find sheet music to.

I would first see if you can at least find a chord chart; but then it's about learning to transcribe/ear training which I consider to be a separate skill from arranigng. (They can be related but they're not quite the same)
So probably looking for some resources for transcription would be my best bet!
