Regarding W for me vs them usage... It depends on your AP.
Like most chain effects in a lot of games, it does less damage to targets beyond the first. But that multiplier, itself, scales with AP. It starts negative, then increases first to 0 then becomes positive. as you get more AP. So before you hit the magic number of AP, your biggest hit/heal is the first target. When you hit the magic number of AP, it doesn't matter because it's all the same. After the magic number of AP, your biggest hit/heal will be the last target (up to 3rd).
This is in addition to the ability itself having dual uses -- do you need to heal, or are you trying to poke? You will most likely get the second one anyway, but it's not guaranteed. So it's going to vary buy situation.
Or if they're just slightly out of range, it's ok to ping the closer target to get the bounce instead of trying to chase in. Saw a couple times he hovered further target when an Ally was between them

I truly hate how weak turrets are. I dont understand the logic behind it 🤔 They are only scary to squishy champs. Before 10 minutes they should 3 shot you. 10-20 minutes 5 shot you. 20 minutes on they do dmg based on the champs stats.
