Types Of Claudication

  • Claudication is pain in the arms and legs during activity or even at rest. There are three types of claudication: arterial, neurogenic and venous. As medical students we should be able to differentiate between these three types. In this video Vinuri will be explaining and pointing out the main differences between these three types of claudication.

    Pain at rest ? Its wrong❌...

      If you are talking about neurogenic claudication, they can have pain when sitting on a chair or lying down, that is basically at rest. Basically anytime when the vertebral spaces are narrow. Standing, walking, sleeping, sitting etc. when bent, space increase, compression of nerves decreases relieving the pain. So I’m not wrong :p
