The band that you see on stage is not the same band that is on the albums. And anything you want has to go through Tobias. And he doesn't do social media.
The stage crew are not part of the studio process. Tobias controls all of that, which honestly prevents the creative control arguments other bands experience.
Despite the addition of live vocalists in recent years, there is still a ton of playback. 4 live singers can't replicate the Queen level harmonies of the records, but you're correct that the live vocals are absolutely on point.
@@shannonlucas2980 But 4 live singers could replicate the Queen harmonies live (in most cases. Not Bohemian Rhapsody or Somebody to Love. They told us that up front.) for Queen. I know. I was there. So with the number of vocalists Ghost has, I would think they wouldn't need playback either.
Nah you can hear him screw up lyrics sometimes. If you want ones from this week he's definitely messed up a bit with Jesus he knows me. One of the charms of live performances. The sound and mask have gotten way better than they used to be though!
It's throwback metal and always has been. They're not trying to sound like the definition of metal today. Back in the late 70s and early 80s this was closer to what the genre sounded like. I think that's biggest way to be disappointed by ghost, to expect them to sound like a typical devil worshipping black metal band of today.
I desperately want more Ghoulette vocals on an album, we really only get to hear her in live stuff
There is definitely a version of that on CZcams somewhere. It amazing.

I have heard their all songs and can proudly say that they don't need autotune autotune need artist like them ❤

@shannon lucas on what songs live (besides year zero choir) is there playback vocal tracks?

Do you have that one song when he fingered the mic😍? (Toulouse)
Got it in Rouen and Nantes, it's during Ritual.
I'm a huge Ghost fan but sometimes I wonder if he's lip syncing he sounds to clear live even though he's wearing that mask.

I've watched a lot of recent Ghost concert videos, and Tobias actually botches lyrics quite often. Highly doubt he's faking.
Tobias said in the past, about how he is with the mask being made, if he feels it constricted his vocals they fix the mask.
It wasn't make up....?
How does anyone call this metal? Shits barley hard rock an that's being generous
