I have tried just water and oil and it was a miss. Currently, since I don’t want to order online any longer, with the preference of going to the store, and because they truly work since trying them-Pattern Beauty. I was using Shea Moisture’s Curl and Shine line, but mainly for shampoo and conditioner. I like Pattern, a little for each section, and there are great styling products beyond the cleansing and conditioning step. Most brands in stores-I have to select another for styling or moisturizer, etc. This one covers all my needs

I use ORS. Yesterday I twisted my hair, using Mixed Chicks styling curl cream.

I only use water and oil together is if the water kick up the product that’s already in it.
