Elvis Presley - Clean up your own backyard HD
• Elvis Presley - Clean ...
Here is one from one of his last movies. Clean Up Your Own Backyard from the movie The Trouble with Girls 1969 It's a cute movie and he played the part wonderfully the song is an upbeat tempo that has some great advice. I hope ya'll like it. Your Elvis reactions are the bombdiggity.
Lyrics
… Back porch preacher preaching at me
Acting like he wrote the golden rules
Shaking his fist and speeching at me
Shouting from his soap box like a fool
Come Sunday morning he's lying in bed
With his eye all red, with the wine in his head
Wishing he was dead when he oughta be
Heading for Sunday school
Clean up your own backyard
Oh don't you hand me none of your lines
Clean up your own backyard
You tend to your business, I'll tend to mine
Drugstore cowboy criticizing
Acting like he's better than you and me
Standing on the sidewalk supervising
Telling everybody how they ought to be
Come closing time 'most every night
He locks up tight and out go the lights
And he ducks out of sight and he cheats on his wife
With his employee
Clean up your own backyard
Oh don't you hand me none of your lines
Clean up your own backyard
You tend to your business, I'll tend to mine
Armchair quarterback's always moanin'
Second guessing people all day long
Pushing, fooling and hanging on in
Always messing where they don't belong
When you get right down to the nitty-gritty
Isn't it a pity that in this big city
Not a one a'little bitty man'll admit
He could have been a little bit wrong
Clean up your own backyard
Oh don't you hand me, don't you hand me none of your lines
Clean up your own backyard
You tend to your business, I'll tend to mine
Clean up your own backyard
You tend to your business, I'll tend to mine - Hudba
thank you for reacting to the coolest man that ever lived. love you both.
Paula Smith he sure was. I traveled from Australia last August to Graceland, a life long dream. 💐💕
This to me is like Elvis version of Harper valley PTA where he is referring to people in the audience in his wording of his song.
I Love Elvis so much!
Elvis looked so handsome wearing that cream suit and blue shirt, wow! Such a beautiful voice too. Enjoyed your fun reaction. More Elvis please.🥇💞🎶
That outfit is exactly what he was buried in. Not the same suit but another white suit, blue shirt and white tie. His Dad selected the suit for his burial.
One of my fav Elvis songs
The camera work in this movie was like he just discovered some of the special effects he could do.🤣 but, yeah, that's one of my favorite ELVIS songs. Thanks!💜 Love ELVIS forever!💜
I just want to say U2 are awesome you’re a Elvis reactions. I love watching you guys and thank you for doing Elvis reactions because he was the greatest and as far as reactions you guys are the greatest. I love watching you guys. Have fun watching. Thank you guys keep it up.
I love this song it's a good film he has to be the best looking man ever always so smart thank you both great reaction
I love this song. Every time people start preaching to you and belittling you, you should pull this out of your pocket and play it to them :) Great reaction!❤
You asked "With his who?" Answer : with his employees.
The song was written by Mac Davis ("In The Ghetto" and several other Elvis songs, not to mention a very successful career after Elvis died) and Billy Strange.
ooe of Elvis's best movie songs!
God, I love your reactions to Elvis you guys are so funny. Elvis is the greatest entertainer. This world will ever see and you guys help make it fun. Thank you very much. I want to get a shirt from you guys maybe two
You both are hilarious and do the best Elvis reactions. Suzi, I love the hair. And this a pretty rocking song! I could have seen this song as a part of his set in the 1970 concert set from "That's The Way It Is". You get the impression by some of the glares that he is directing this at certain people in the audience and that he's going to need some of his karate after finishing this performance.
Great job, another great one from a movie Live A little Love A Little. Is his original, "A Little Less Conversation". Thanks for showing the King. Thanks and Be Blessed
Great fun reaction as always 😊
I forgot how cool that song is!
Check out the album version of this, just for your own enjoyment. The instrumentation and back-up singers make it much much better, when it's already pretty great :)
I can’t say enough; I love seeing this generation react to Elvis... your reactions are from so many different experiences, that run the ganmit, but it’s still the same as we were, from my mom who was about his age to we whom were just a few years younger him. I use to listen to rock, and contempary rock. Like from machine head deep purplr, the almond brothers to credence clear water revival. My taste has certainly changed as I’ve aged, except for Elvis. He’s timeless... you too are cute abs I love your personalities reacting to the most famous, top singer there ever was.
How stunningly beautiful is he here 💐💕
Another movie song to check out is A Little Less Conversation (not the 2001 JXL remix - although it is also worth a watch). I’m a completely straight guy but I’ve got to admit in the movie he is looking very smooth
Please would you react to Elvis: "Gospel Production Number '68 Comeback Special". Awesome dancers and backing vocals. Elvis also sounds terrific. You'll enjoy this. Thank you
I like to see you do a reaction to Elvis Presley stranger in my own hometown the x-rated version.
Yes great audio to react to!✌❤👌
The King The best The only
GAWD I LOVE YOU TWO...AWESOME SONG LYRICALLY AND BLUESY AS WELL. ACES!!! 🫂🤗🤗💯🔥🔥❤️
Little sister is a good one
I have a good reaction video for you all, try Elvis's first television appearance, shake, rattle and roll on the Dorsey Brothers show
Love your reaction 💕💕💕💕
The white suit was pretty typical clothing from that era. The jumpsuits were from the 70s...maybe even as early as the 60s. Until the Hippie era No one left their house without dressing up. Men wore suits in public. Women wore dresses, heels, full makeup and their hair done up.
The movie was set in the early 20th century - around 1930.
@@MarkRogersVOCFB matches what I said...until the Hippie era No one left their house without dressing up (blue collar workers working being the exception and even then they wore their best work clothes.).
Even in the 70s when things were changing my grandma still washed the cuffs and collars of grandpa's work shirts with Whisk then washed, dried, starched and ironed his shirts and ironed pleats into the legs of his work pants.
Watched Viva Las Vegas the other day with a guy who said, "I've never seen Elvis in regular man's clothes! He's wearing the hell out of that grey suit." For the rest of the movie, we talked about Elvis' fashion game being on point no matter what he was wearing and this is just another example. By the way, Suzy, I've always loved your look! You do you!
Thank you, Soniya :)❤💥
Haha, you always have good reactions, but Elvis just brings out the best in you. It is fun to see you really enjoying it. He has a style, a swagger and a teasing humor and sometimes you can just rewatch him just for the small stupid details.
Love you guys
This song was from the second to the lsat movie of Elvis' called "The Trouble With Girls." Great movie. Love your reaction. Great song.
Great great song en so fuck.. relaxt
Elvis the best
Hi guys everyone ask me all the time about What did Elvis get buried n well the suit u see Elvis wearing n his last movie Change of Habit White with blue shirt & white tie. That's what we buried Elvis n.
He was buried in the white suite and blue shirt and white tie but this was from The Trouble with Girls not Change of Habit
Yes ur right, I notice the mistake on movie I had to ask my dad again cause he worked for Elvis. That's y I know a lot stuff that people really don't know.
Look up ; “I was raised on Rock” at Stax studio in Memphis. During his 68 and 69 comeback.
There is an uncut very raunchy version of this where Elvis says a few very naughty words!
If you do talk during the song, you should pause and go back to play it over so we can hear the words. Great reaction, though. Elvis is forever the GOAT!!❤️🔥❤️🔥
Reminds me of Chris Issak kinda style..you guys should check him out .Doing the bad ,bad thing .
The lyrics of the song contains the plot of the movie.
Look up “Stuck on you”, 1960, live on Frank Sinatra show . Just out of the army.
When he died he had a white suit blue shirt and white tie
This is a cut from a movie. I don't remember which one.
You asked with who concerning the drug store guy, he said with “your employee...”
He was clothes horse.
Don't believe Movie's. After all, their only... Movie's.👍
Back porch preacher is a person who is trying to preach and then get the right to preschool. Is there a nobody
you BOTH would get shown the door by way of baseball bat in MY house!! YOU TALK TOO MUCH!!! DO NOT PAUSE ELVIS FOR YOUR OWN NEED TO TALK!!!
Come on there doing great elvis reactions and appreciate him so let them be themselves . I would rather people enjoy elvis music than not
Fake reactors
Love you guys
