Suga Mama actually insults Bobby by calling him untalented. I think she knows Bobby is a failure and possibly only coddles him cuz she knows he can't survive on his own. He's unemployed, no wife or kids, doesn't even own his own house- Suga Mama would have to be delusional to think he's some kind of "golden child," which she really isn't. I think she only makes excuses for Bobby because he refuses to change and therefore would die without her. Deep down, she might be disappointed in him but she's still his mother and won't leave him to starve, whereas she knows Oscar can survive on his own and is tougher than Bobby, which is why she might've been tougher on Oscar, as least partially why, so he wouldn't end up lazy and dependant like Bobby. Her taunting and criticizing of Oscar might be her own brand of tough love that makes Oscar tough like her and ready to take on the world.
So basically she's the reason why Oscar is so Neurotic! 👍

Oscar ain’t no different it’s true he’s in a better position than bobby and he has a wife and 3 children and his own house but as we see his snack business isn’t holding them up and it’s suspected that Trudy’s job is holding them up
It's true that Proud Snax wasn't doing well, but it was mostly due to Oscar being in denial most of the time about his awful tasting snacks and his willingness to cut corners due to being a miser. Plus, admitting his snacks are no good would be admitting failure, which is a place of great vulnerability to him cuz he secretly craves validation from others. If Oscar channeled his energy into making improvements and making smart investments, then he has the potential to shine because, all things considered, he is a fairly decent businessman due to his street smarts and charisma.
A win-win for everyone sugar momma got her Redemption Arc & Oscar Proud got some hype even though that corporate power Wizard Kelly has would most likely turn him into a monster.
Suga succeeded with Giselle, but she failed with her sons. Oscar is a pathetic, arrogant pushover with no spine and Bobby is freeloading mama boy’s who mooches off of his mother
