They should make a pin banner that looks like a castle wall for the portrait pins. That way people can display them and it will look like they are hanging on a Hogwarts wall.

I think its neat they did a Hippogriff wand made on June 6, 1994 since that is when Sirius escapes on Buckbeak. I knew the date must relate to the wand so yes I looked it up.

I like the pigmy puff too, but, I've had mine not on a shelf, but on top of a metal filing box so the dye can't spoil any other fabrics in my bedroom, but the stuff still isn't quite dried out, its still slightly tacky and comes away on my hands, so I'm wondering if he'll ever dry out thoroughly. My box was later getting to me than a lot of the other boxes.

I did forget about her but technically she never was a true headmistress because the office never let her in. 😄
Her time as head doesn't really matter though does it? Fred and George made sure of that. Dumbledore also, made sure she wasn't able to access his office while he was gone, or, maybe that was the power within the room itself or the portraits in Dumbledore's office had a hand in that.

This was my first box from the Wizarding Trunk. I loved the map, song of the siren, puff skein and the wand. So beautiful! The statue, colored pencils, and different pages I would pass on. Overall a great value and fun event to open the box. Thank you for the review!!!
I definitely understand the pages being a pass… especially if this was your first box and hadn’t acquired the others along the way. Personally, I am ready for the pages collection to end.
Also one of my fave boxes. That wand was spectacular. I also used those stickers to make a pretty cool resin tumbler.

My favourite items in the box are the map, the potion ingredient, the statue, the wand and the portrait pin. I'm not a pin gal but this portrait pin collection got me obsessed. 😅

This was my first box from wizarding trunk and it was fantastic, loved all the items. Fun fact wands are my favorite and what better first box than one with a wand included.If anyone knows what the 3rd representation of the statue would be, I would appreciate it because I, like Petter, recognized two out of three 🙈

The candle was for sure my fav this time around. I didn't purchase this box, but if I had I would have kept the egg, patch, potion, portrait, and possibly the dementor. As a full box though I would only give this one a mid rating. I would have kept some items because I DO like them, but nothing really blew me away in this box. And I get that you can't have some crazy stunning item in every single box or WT would go out of business! But, when I decide to buy or not buy a box I judge it on whether there were any items that I would be truly upset that I missed, and in this case there weren't any. Like I like the items I listed but I can do without all of them. I will almost certainly buy the pin at some point (I wait until a few boxes that I didn't get "pile up" and buy the portrait pins I didn't get all together), and I LOVE the size of the potion. The larger ones are harder to fit onto my shelves.
The creatures pages I am ready to be over. Like the book covers, we just have so many at this point. I love a good paper replica or picture and I have many hung in my HP collection room (home office) so I like paper products in general (sometimes more than the other items in the box!!) but I'm "over" these. Maybe others are still loving them.
Love this channel and you are the reason i started subscribing to Wizarding Trunk and now have my own potion shelf! Question as someone still new to wizarding trunk, it mentions there are only 2 more creature pages left but what I can see available online there are 3 letters unaccounted for, so what letters are actually left so I can better determine which ones I'm missing?

I didn't get a chance to get this box ( It would be my first one ) because me and my mom are saving up to go to Florida for 8 nights! We will visit the wizarding world of harry potter the first 2 days! I am very excited, I really hope they can sell some of the items because after the trip I really want to get a few things from their store. especially Dumbledore's pocket watch! If you have any recommendations for when we visit Orlando please let me know! I also the your t-shirt 😂😁

The illustrations on the creature pages look like a different style to the previous, and I really like the improvement. Possibly a different illustrator?
Looks like I'm going to be a different perspective here. As a lover of magical creatures, I was a bit underwhelmed by this box. Maybe I built my hopes two high. This was the first box in awhile where I immediately got rid of some items..the pencils were a flop, etc..I don't know..I thought it could have been done better...not loving the new box design either..BUT I Always enjoy your videos and your thoughts. 😍😁
When I asked them about the new box, they said that the other type/order was delayed and wouldn’t arrive on time so they had to get something quick.
@ThePotterCollector thanks 4 the info, I thought maybe they were going with a new design since I saw another subscription unboxing doing that as well. The other style just feels more magical to me, like pulling the flap open reveals the treasures. Lol
If someone was putting together a magizoologist costume this is a great box to get items from.

Hey Peter Kenneth you may want to let them know that there's actually a restaurant called The copper kettle. There's also one called iron skillet as well. I've been to both they have similar food is comfort food basically but it's homemade.
I also really liked this box - even the pencils since I had been putting off buying colored pencils haha. I do have three missing pages instead of the two they mentioned though. I wonder which I'm missing. Or they're missing. haha
The Wizarding Trunk told me that was an error and that there are three more.

Can't say I'm really a fan of this box. Colour pencils, pages out of books which need to be filed in a magical creatures folder. card wallets when everything nowadays is on your phone so is no longer physical, another pin, another iron on patch, another model which isn't a replica, another wand which isn't a replica, in fact, most of the wands I have now, about 25 different wands, I don't think any of them are replicas. The puffskein was my favourite item, followed by the teatowel and the pin and the ocamy egg candle. I like the fruity strawberry kind of smell of said candle. They put a lot more dark magical creatures in here than I would want in my collections, rather than the nicer more lighthearted owls, cats, phoenixes, toads Etc. In the castle theme box then, I would want to see artwork of the whole castle, from the dungeons to north tower and Dumbledore's office and living quarters and replicas no less, of various artifacts spanning over all the floors and even outside in the castle grounds and forbidden forest. Imagine Hogwarts in 3d rather than just 2d. I did list the department 56 Harry Potter scale models for my family to get me for my Birthday or Christmas, but mum was like, are you serious? and left it at that. Maybe I will own them one day, but I need the physical space in my tiny house to be able to display them.c
Everything is mean to be HP-adjacent, not a replica since they don't have intellectual property rights to most of the true wizarding world stuff. It would also be a lot more expensive if officially licensed. But I get the complaint - and I agree it was a little darker this month.
@@stevejenks9940 No, I don't think that's strictly true about replicas, or there wouldn't be the mini collectible wands or broomsticks and other wizardthe props, some of which were made by Gheekgear and which I have in my collection, such as the two hour glasses, one of which, the larger one, was a replica of the hour glass in Slughorn's office and the other was like the hour glass in Hogwarts' entrance hall. I also got a bowtruckle replica in one of the last boxes I had from Gheekgear before I switched to Wizarding Trunk two years ago. He's my bedtime buddy. I have him on my pillows most nights. Wizarding Trunk doesn't also, send out t-shirts, wands, prints in broken frames though, which is a good thing about them. I also bought the Azkaban camp fire mug which is one of my 5 favourite Potter collection mugs.

I'm not a fan of this box. It's a lot of money to spend on stickers, colored pencils, and a non replica wand. It seemed more orientated for kids.
But there was also the potion, the puffskin, wallet, candle, pin and the statue .... so maybe still not for you, but it wasn't just colored pencils, stickers, pages and a wand
