Speeding over the legendary downhill course of the Streif, the Red Bull Skydive Team, of Max Manow, Felix Seifert, Marco Fürst and Marco Waltenspiel, executed a world first flight over the revered track. They all knew it from watching the ski race as children and having now experienced its steepness and dramatic turns from above, their respect for the ski pros that ride it has grown exponentially.
"The fact that we were able to fly past the Mausefalle and Hausbergkante with the Wingsuit shows how steep it must be there," says Marco Fürst enthusiastically after the flight. "That must be just brutal to ski down. It's not the hardest race in the world for nothing!"

I agree but the editing on redbull's videos is sad. Interview the talent and process then show the stunt from start to finish. The mash up of multiple runs is disrespectful to what's going on. If people can't watch the actual stunt what's the point?

I was hoping for a complete POV run of the ski track, but no: just the usual syncopated editing of ski movies. Not a single complete sequence. Why? Why?

Why go to all that trouble then barely show the flights? It's all so chopped up & edited you barely get a feel for what they did. Someone in the editing room was drinking way too many redbulls.

Thought I would see them flying along the Streif. Was more like flying somewhere around the Streif area and landing near the finish line.
To risky and to much curves if they just flew like 10 meters above the whole streif

"Seen From The Sky" - all of 10 seconds. The remaining time was showing off the wingsuit, parachute and talking about it.
This was a cool video, but you raise a great point. I assume they only got a few seconds of flight footage. There “epic” videos are all looking the same. 95% prep and then a tiny amount of over edited footage. In this video a few beats were even repeated. I suspect the parachute guys flew at a totally different time than the wing suit guys. Cool stunt, kind of lame video.

nothing more then deep respect for those who race downhill. (And the wings and chutes of course)

Would have loved to see one top to bottom uncut run from first person / chase cam or at the very least the flight in time order if you insist of doing as many camera cuts as possible.
I don't want to do this because it is too dangerous for me to fly ! lol

Contraproductive editing. The swift cuts takes away suspension. The inherent drama in flight is cut away repeatedly. Wasted
